BULLIE HAS BEEN IMMORTALIZED! it’s hit-or-miss at homegoods, but i absolutely love this store! if you hit it right, you can score some really nice quality home merch at filene’s basement prices. or, just as likely, something completely, ridiculously, laugh-out-loud funny and you just. gotta. have it. (as you can see.) homegoods always has really nice pillows, which is good. i really like pillows, and i buy a lot of them because bullie really likes pillows and destroys a lot of them.

    so i’m thinking a paint job for stone bullie, maybe throw in some fangs, why not??? and we got the bullie version of mt. rushmore gracing our front steps. (the boy says check your batteries, mom, but he’s laughing too.)

  5. Worst experience ever at a Marshall’s and up until December 2022 when i moved to ME, I shopped there every single month, and usually multiple times a month while living in NY.

    I went to a Marshall’s last week while on vacation in NY. The dressing rooms weren’t opened (ok, the pandemic is over, so get with the program), so I bought a dress in 2 different sizes since I couldn’t try it on in the store. The dress was $99.99, so I paid for both and went back home that same day (7 hours away).

    Once I got home, I tried on the dresses, chose the right size, and then went to the ONLY Marshall’s in ME, of which I had no idea there is only one…and it is 1.45 minutes from my town.

    The 1st girl tells me I can’t return the dress because they don’t sell “high” value dresses…I ask to speak with the manager…the manager tells me I can’t return the dress because it doesn’t have a red tag!?!?! of which wasn’t on the dress when I bought it.

    Are you kidding me???? I look up their return policy…no mention of either…so I tell her, “What would be the purpose of me removing the red tag that never existed? The tag for the dress is attached near the neck of the dress – in the button loop hole so it’s clearly never been worn and if you look at the receipt you’ll see I bought two of the same dresses in different sizes a few days ago, and there’s no way I’m leaving without getting my $100 back.” I even said they could give me store credit.

    Finally she said “fine”…but seriously get it together Marshall’s and start using common sense, follow your own policies – if the dress required a red tag then make sure you put it on and make sure when you check people out, you check to make sure the red tag is there, and keep your dressing rooms open.

    It was fine. Prices have gone up. There are no more $5 meal deals. That was disappointing. The fountain drink machine wasn’t filled with sodas, just soda water and no soda flavorings. Otherwise, it was just OK.

    I love this store so much. It’s always got the latest and best stuff for insanely reasonable prices. It’s on of my all time favorite stores. I would go everyday if I had money for that. But once every other month will have to suffice 🥰🤑

    Great store love the deals! They have great staff who are very helpful with finding brands that I am looking for, especially the kids that are working there!! except this one lady Cindy. She is very rude to her staff, I saw her yell at a couple young employees for not hanging a shirt right then she looked at me and said rude stuff about them. Another time I heard her scream at an employee across the store, if she is working in management she needs to go. I find her to be very unprofessional for someone who is on the floor with customers around. She needs to get off her high horse. I will probably not be going back to this location because of her. I feel so bad for any employee working minimum wage being treated like this.
