What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Who doesn’t love them an Aldi‘s. Great quality non brand name food, for what I consistently find to be the cheapest price. I now trek out about 20 minutes just to get to this Aldi‘s.

The pictures are completely random pictures I had been taking for my own price comparisons.

P.S: A gallon milk was like $1.50 the last time I went. Eggs where like $2.99

P.S.S Since we have to do an honest review I do love Aldi but you have got to check the date on any of the fresh product like salads, bread, and even milk. In my experience they can be closer to expiration than I would like. I’ve 100 % skipped out on buying those products before because of the expiration date.

  2. First experience of this new location was good. (***Update- Have to say their produce is quite bad. Everything I purchased, and visited again and purchased, went bad, like avocados, asparagus, Store was quite big for an ALDI. Clean, neat isles, friendly staff. I was eying the prices on many items, and it seems the prices are lower or about the same as Wal-Mart across the street. There were some good promotional items to get customers in the store like a low price per pound on big turkeys. Some packaged items like chicken breast seemed lower, but you get a few less chicken breasts per package, so overall being the same price of walmart. So definetely look for the great deal that you can find in the store. It is still fun to have a store near by, and we will definetely be going back.

  3. We really like Aldi. What items they do have are very well priced and high quality. You can quickly get in and get items for an easy dinner. We still go to our local ‘conventional’ grocery store which has 5x the selection for big weekend shopping trips. Check out the app and the ads for some spectacular deals.
You do have to bag your own stuff with your own bags, but that really isn’t a problem for us, and we carry a specific quarter in our cars to get a cart, no big deal at all.

  4. Yes! We have Aldi in the West valley!

I didn’t know about Aldi until I went on a trip to Florida and Oklahoma. It is by far the best store for fresh, never-frozen salmon. It is so delicious. I had no idea salmon could be this good.

The produce is fresh and a good price. Compared to a lot of other retail groceries, I find the prices so much better — up to 15% less on a lot of items.

An overall great shopping experience. Bring your own bags, and shopping carts cost a quarter deposit which you get back when you return it.

I will shop here to save money on exceptional grocery items!

  5. Great place to shop very clean great and helpful staff and great prices definitely recommend trying this place out

Nice store. Well stocked, reasonably priced and staffed by some extremely nice folks. Extremely clean store.

This was my first time here. I stopped in on a Friday to see if they had any more of an item they featured in the weekly ad. The paper did say, “while supplies last”, and either they didn’t get very many or it was just a great deal because they were out of the product that went on sale that Wednesday. The cashier didn’t think that they would get any more before the end of the ad special.

I walked up and down the aisles. The store was small, but clean. They had a lot of their own branded items. Prices were okay. They had some items that you might not find at another grocery store, like European chocolates and cookies. They also had random housewares for sale.

None of the locations are particularly close to my house and with a “hit or miss” on ad items, it probably isn’t my best choice for regular grocery shopping. You should also come with a quarter if you would like to use one of their shopping carts and bring your own reusable shopping bags, unless you want to buy some while you are there. It was fun to explore and check it off my list of local businesses to visit.

We love Aldis & always have a great experience. Today a young “manager” came storming out of the office to yell at myself & my husband about our very small dog we brought with us. I have never seen a sign at Aldi refusing animals & she’s so small she rides in the cart. I’ll bring her vest next time but I am extremely disappointed by his lack of professionalism… a younger dark haired man with facial hair… RUDE to say the least…

An unfortunate visit, as a first timer making a later than normal trip everything went wrong. Cart? Nope, I couldn’t unlock one fast enough. With a toddler in arms while sweating and in pain from the day my frustration said enough of that in about 10 seconds. Got inside to find out that they “just stopped receiving diapers one day, about 3 months ago”. Okay, cool beans. I continue on not finding anything I went for except water. Good thing though because remember I have no cart now and a tired 2 year old in my arms. I get in line, and watch as the cashier completely ignores looking at people with a general “don’t care” attitude absolutely melting off of her….aaaannnd literally snapped her fingers at a Gentleman because he couldn’t understand her rude instructions that she mumbled at him to begin with. Made for a super uninviting experience

First time here so wasn’t sure what to expect. Walked in and thought it would be bigger like a Safeway but it’s decent size. It’s smaller than a neighborhood Walmart market. Selection is very limited. Noticed they do carry some national brands like Nabisco, pepperidge farms, Gain laundry, Downey. Most other brands I’ve never heard of or seen. Could be their generic brands? Each section is very small and limited to a few items. On the plus side there are some different items you can’t find anywhere else. The chocolate selection was on par with world market was able to find my creamy dairy milk bars, tried out a brand of coffee/frappuccino mix, an organic energy drink. They also have a clearance isle of items that are marked down to very good prices. Found a draft blocker for $3. Overall nice clean bright store, very cozy. Will deft be back to try out some more of their brands of items.

I really like the store. I also like that they don’t have 50 types of every item to choose from! I don’t even mind having to bring my own bags, I have plenty.

What did bother me was the cashier started scanning my items and literally throwing them into another cart! I had to bag my groceries outside in the heat! IF I HAVE TO USE MY OWN BAGS AND BAG MY GROCERIES, GIVE ME TIME TO DO SO!

I absolutely love Aldi, it’s the store I grew up on. People who don’t know what it is do not appreciate the prices, and when you have a family of six it makes a big difference! I also love that the Aldi brand does not have the artificial dyes and junk in it that other regular brands do. And I especially appreciate Elijah the cashier! He is so fast and still so careful and caring with your groceries. Some other people will just throw them in the cart no matter what lands on top of what and stuff breaks open or fruit gets smashed but Elijah can do both, the efficiency and the stacking with like items and carefully. He is also just a ray of sunshine in the store and always so courteous and polite.

Love the store, just nice change from the other stores. Like the variety of different items they carry and they definitely are lower priced on a lot of them.

The past 3 or 4 times we’ve been there, the same cashier has not greeted or even acknowledged us at all! He seemed like he is in his own little world. Whatever happened to customer service?

I love Aldi’s and was so disappointed when we moved from Illinois and didn’t have one here. Thankfully, we didn’t have to wait long to get them in the area. We go here every week for our groceries, and unlike in the past, it’s no longer fully stuff with ultra-processes junk. They try to be more health conscious now. This place is a staple in our life…
