a year agoThis my go to grocery store for a couple of years. Aldi’s prices are cheaper than walmart. The items are good. But many times if an item is out of stock, it takes quite some time to restock.3 months agoIts usually full of unpleasant customers who intentionally try to hit you with your cart, but the prices are good, the cashier’s are nice and efficient, and it’s typically pretty clean. They do sometimes overcharge you for weighed produce and are often out of certain products. Overall it’s a good store, better when you can avoid influxes of customers.3 months agoIt has pretty much everything I need. I find it strange that there are 3 different meat sections with the same goods but different brands. Like I can find same sausages in 3 different places. Oh and the queue is often long.4 weeks agoSo, I do like Aldi. You can keep on a budget pretty well. The stars removed is because I r gone to the Aldi multiple times and had it not just be understocked, but practically barren. It leaves me going to target for pretty hiked up prices for the stuff I couldn’t get at the Aldi.4 months agoPretty nice aldi. They have the standard low prices you expect. The location is convenient for many by Loyola and the red line. There’s parking. Only issues are 1. No self checkout so really long checkout lines and 2. Tons of things are out of stock. Like more empty shelves than most other aldi locations.

2 months agoWhat’s going on with the inventory? There’s nothing to buy? Only Empty shelves and coolers. Not even staples like eggs or bread.2 weeks agoPretty Good Aldi. It’s pretty clean and even has self-checkout, which makes the checkout process faster. The layout makes sense, and there is plenty of parking right outside. As with any standard Aldi – you’re accepting longer checkout times, out of stock items, and other things for their lower prices. Ultimately I’m giving one fewer star because it feels like this Aldi is completely out of entire categories of items (such as eggs, frozen veges) rather than just missing a few skus. If they can just be an average Aldi with missing inventory, then they’d be right up there at a 5 star.a month agoLike all Aldis, this one is having huge supply chain issues with lots of perishables being out of stock. But otherwise, this is one of the better Aldis. Clean, wide aisles, and SELF CHECKOUT. Parking spaces are wide enough that I don’t fear getting dinged or backed into (unlike both Aldis on Broadway and the Aldi on Montrose & Western).I wish they had hand-held baskets because I don’t buy much and don’t want to bother with getting a cart.
a month agoI used to love shopping this Aldi, but something has happened to it lately. There is no stock! Yesterday (Wednesday) I went in and was shocked to see so many bare shelves. Wednesday is usually the day when there is the most stock because it’s the first day of the new ad. Yesterday, some staples like eggs were even completely missing. When I asked an employee what was going on she just responded, “We stock what they send us.” Is the company in trouble? I hope not, but that’s what it looks like.3 months agoGreat place for quick shopping. Not too big. Self checkout kiosks are newly installed and plenty. Workers are able to assist all the time and amicable. Neatly organized and great prices.

My cashier was guillermina! She was quick and friendly! Unfortunately my trip was unpleasant because there was a rowdy obnoxious customer behind me who felt entitled to using the self check out 🤦♀️ when she clearly had more than 40 items … the cashier remained calm but this customer acted like a toddler …
Nice store, organized, clean, and staff are ok, could be friendlier. I am happy they have self check out now.
Absolutely atrocious. While shopping today, about an hour ago, the security guard woman accused me of stealing and asked to see my purse. When she saw that my purse was a small sling bag, she said oh I don’t need to see it. Someone said they saw you taking the tags off of something and that I need to watch you. Needless to say, I abandoned my cart, waited for my friend to finish her purchase. Called my Mom and will make a formal complaint when I get home.
Self checkout was probably the worst choice made. Typically out of order. Out of bags.
I do not blame the staff. The over all management from corporate has made a great shopping experience into just the same as any other grocery store.
Had a good thing going. Theft will go up due to the lacking of customer service and how fast paced Aldi used to be.
Ample parking. Quote shocked they have self checkout lanes. This wouldn’t be such an issue when Aldi’s is slow as they’re known to be but why not have more employees checking during peak hours.
