  I want to thank Orillia Pools for their diligence in building us a fantastic pool. Mark and his team are excellent at what they do. They communicated with us, regularly, and addressed our questions, promptly. Mark’s experience in building/designing pools was integral in adding both entertainment and value to our home. He offered suggestions about placement, decking and landscaping options, while being upfront about pricing. Gwen has also been an excellent resource, optimizing our water chemistry while being personable, professional and willing to help in any way she can. We had some great conversations in the store, and I appreciate her insights into the different products she offers. My wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend them moving forward.

  I would also like to thank Orillia Landscaping for their contributions to the hardscaping completed around our pool. Nate and his crew are highly skilled and efficient, while maintaining integrity and care for the end result. They are professional and always maintained a clean and safe working environment.   Gwen and her team have been incredibly supportive and helpful to me as a new pool owner. They had my mucky water looking clear and blue within days, and they had somebody come back out quickly to help troubleshoot a problem (that was born out of my own incompetence).

  Owner Gwen is very unprofessional and rude. She constantly returns zero phone calls to customers. You have to repeatedly call hoping on one occasion she will answer herself. We hired her to maintain our pool during a five week vacation in the summer of 2021. It was pathetic and when we inquired as to why the maintenance we had arranged did not take place. She responded that she had forgotten. We found out through a neighbour’s phone call that the pool looked very dirty and that the pump had turned off. I think if you want pool service you can rely on with some degree of professionalism find another company or you may find yourself getting very frustrated in contacting Gwen and getting good responsible service.   I used another local company to open my pool and they let all the debris on the safety cover just slide into the water (first time pool owner, I didnt know any better). Orillia pools has been so helpful in getting me fixed up and even squeezed in a professional waste vacuum for me. I love them!

  The entire process from getting an estimate and landscaping plan, to the crew that did the work at our home was very professional. The work was done as expected, and the crew even accommodated a small change once on site that hadn’t been part of the original plan. We really appreciated how careful they were to not be disruptive to our neighbours, and they left our property completely free of trash or debris. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Michael Scott Landscaping to anyone looking to have some work done.

  We started our search for a Landscape & Design company back in June based on recommendations. When we called Michael Scott, within a few days Michael and Myles arrived to walk through our property and listened to the ‘ideal’ of what we would like to have done. With a few changes to their design and dividing the large project into phases we were warned that we may be looking at the fall or even next year for completion. As a result of scheduling changes we were bumped up to early August. The teams were efficient, friendly and completed the work, particularly, the front porch with precision. Would we hire the team again? You bet! Can’t wait until everything begins to fill in.

  Michael was very attentive during the design process. He offered different ideas and designs to fit my taste and budget. The work team that arrived were friendly and professional. They had to be very flexibile when supply issues occured and kept me informed each day they came. Alison, in the office, kept me up to date on delivery issues and was so quick to respond to my emails. I am so thrilled with the resulting front walkway and garden and have received so many compliments on how everything works in with my home. Thank you Michael and team for an exceptional experience.

  We recently had our front entrance updated with a stone walkway. The project started with us meeting Tom at the construction site (our house). His idea to upgrade our main steps to a black granite stone was so appreciated. His responsiveness to questions via email and the professional layout drawing gave us the reassurance that we picked the right landscaping company. Tom represents himself very well. With that said, there is a crew (Griffin and company) that showed up on time, were very approachable and completed a job that allows us to receive many compliments. We can’t forget about Allison.
