  If you’re looking for someone who will dedicate their time and help you win your case than this firm is well worth the buck. I was looking to losing almost half the equity on my home which would have caused me to force sell my home I worked hard to buy. When my ex tried to file an amended child support because she missed her deadline to file anything against me after our breakup she tried lying in order to extend the deadline so she can try and get money from me.

  Awful. The worst of the worst people. I will hate Justin Nipper & Scott Ashby until the day I die for the damages annd mockery incurred while they represented me 3 years ago.

  They literally caused most of the damage in my case themselves. Time grants perspective. Looking back it’s just so disgusting how they prayed on vulnerability and took advantage of lies to extort… over and over again. I was told it n writing by Mr. Ashby that these cases are “just business” . They do not care about outcomes or timelines. Period. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this firm.

  Horrible place. All of the negative reviews are true. I gave them the benefit of the doubt hired them and it was clear how they dont care. The billing reflected what they truly care about they do charge an intake fee that does nothing its one of the countless fees they collect. 45$ for a welcome email big joke- my counsel was at mediocre at best didnt even know how to write a decent letter. Dont come here really big waste of resources.

  I went with the Richland firm to handle my case and ended up losing money with very little progress made. I was told my case would only take about 3 months-it’s been over a year now and not much has been done. I agree with the reviews that the firm has horrible communication. I was never notified my lawyer was in the hospital for a while or that they let go of the paralegal I was working with. If I didn’t call the firm, I would not know of any changes or what was going on. It would take over 2 weeks or more to hear back about one question. I not only wasted money on my case, but on gas because I would have to drive 1.5 hours or more to actually get things communicated with my lawyer. I really feel like my case was pushed back and not taken serious. I am very disappointed with the Richland firm and would not recommend. Save your money and time, folks.

  Started with Gregory who initially saved my case from becoming beyond saving, later didn’t pay attention in the hearing and caused my restraining order to be extended by another 11 1/2 months and weeks later had to resign due to health issues.

  Amanda requested $5000 be added to the retainer to file a grievance and never did, then somehow burned through that by only emailing to and from opposing counsel. And cannot read any emails with a timely manner (usually 2+ weeks) and can’t return a phone call even after scheduling a date.

  Most useless $44,000 ever spent. 20 hours of visitation a month with my kids total without any abuse or neglect ever.

  Ridiculously incompetent stammering mess when it comes time to talk in court. Got walked on every step of the way by the opposing attorney. Took $15,000 and didn’t even make it to the first trial billing $100 for every email between each party.

  Predatory agency using bait and switch tactics that did nothing to help and still wanted more money after leaving the case 3 months in.

  As others have said, you talk to Ken first who sounds good, had experience and says what you want to hear. The inexperienced nobody they stick you with on the other hand is horrible. I reached out to Ken multiple times but he never responded.

  Reply to owners comments; the facts are that nobody from your office replied to multiple emails requesting different representation and billing issues when he asked for more than the $15,000 he took in emails over a 3 month period. He does have a speach impediment that when paired with the strict time limits of family court arguments made him very ineffective not to mention the multiple pieces of evidence he never submitted because he didn’t think photographs and bank statements proving the other party to be lying would make a difference in the outcome. My review is unfortunately 100% factual of what i had to go through with this company.

  Also, 5 of the 6 “hearings” he showed up for were just compliance hearings he kept getting pushed back over such things as explaining to the commissioner what a barrel is or asking the commissioner to ask the petitioner to look in a drawer behind her.
