4 weeks agoComing here as a tourist from the East Coast, the selection of items exclusive to the West Coast is huge. Also tried the mango smoothie and it was good. This Costco is probably the nicest one I’ve been to.4 weeks agoPerfect place to get groceries. Don’t have a lot of options for electronics and don’t sell bicycles here.2 months agoSometimes, I do not come to Costco to buy anything, but I want to enjoy the crowding vibe while looking at everyone’s business. By the way, Costco offers fresh, high-quality, diversified food and household items. in the last weekThis is a much older Costco building compared to others I’ve been in. It’s a different layout. The men’s and women’s clothing tables are somewhat mixed. Hard to tell what you’re looking at… They also have a tobacco section. Is this something that’s at all Costcos?in the last weekI went there couple of days ago to return my shoes, which I bought it last year or so but I had never used it, it was just sitting in my house for a long time. I met a guy name “AVI” at the membership return, who was at the power mode. First, he couldn’t find my shoes when did I buy it and second he wasn’t so happy to go an extra miles to help me out and he was rude as hell. He just gave my shoes back with an attitude and start mumbling. I even said if you want to say something you could say load and clear. But he was on attitude mode and just thought my shoes away at the counter. I don’t know why COSTCO hires those kinda people at the customer service desk or Might be he’s not getting paid enough to help all the customers. I even went back to Costco to talk about him to the manager but I don’t think he’s going to do anything about those kinda people. Finally, I decided to CANCEL my membership because I don’t want to spend my money, where I don’t feel welcome! Thanks !

a year agoWent to Costco wholesale today the parking lot was busy and the store was busy the food court doesn’t have enough seating it be nice to get some more seating. The staff were great and helpful. The food was what you expected from Costco the pizza is aways Greasy but the Smoothies were good I like them2 months agoTook a side trip here from Chinatown. Nice that they had liquor and prices were much better than the package stores. Huge parking lot, packed on a Thursday evening. Relatively easy to get toa month agoI hate having to give any Costco a bad review, but I have to be honest. Also my review is mostly for the food court. Whenever you go to a Costco food court you expect limited seating, but at this Costco the seating seems to be a bit more lacking than usual. I ordered the hotdog and a drink. Sadly the employee pulling the hotdogs was pulling bunches of dogs at a time and letting them sit out on the counter while she got the other items together for the various orders rather than just calling out all the hotdog and a drink orders in order to keep things fresh and moving. These are all minor problems compared to the last problem I encountered here. It’s a HOT day I was looking forward to sitting down with an ice cold Pepsi or Mtn Dew. Unfortunately the only drink options offered here is DIET with the exception of one Bubbly option!!! Some people, like myself, are ALLERGIC to aspartame, the artificial sweetener in all those diet sodas!!! I paid for a drink and my only option was water or carbonated water!!! Needless to say that this is one Costco food court I will NEVER be coming back to!Also, all the trash cans were full to overflowing!
3 weeks ago08/05/23: Clean, Stocked, and fantastic Costco storage. I have been here a lot, and its location is very convenient for those who live close to West Seattle. They have a glass store, eye exam, hearing aid, and pharmacy inside. Everything is good, but sometimes I feel like this store does not have many diversified items like the others have.a month agoCostco, the first store created in Seattle but I am not sure weather this location is the first one or not. But inside, you can see a wall picture to introduce the history of Costco.

Good central location with everything that I need. I especially love getting my economical rotisserie dinner for 3 under $28! The cashiers are great and always ask if I find what I’m looking for. However, I can’t say the same for the floor staff. Some are quick to avoid you if it looks like you’re searching for something or contemplating a purchase like the young gentleman I included in the photo. I wanted to inquire about one of the TVs but he was more interested in watching instead of assisting😞
It’s not safe to shop her as a person of color. My experience shopping at this Costco has left me with a significant experience of race-based trauma. I entered Costco to make a return and pick-up a prescription. I never stopped to touch any items in the store. An employee chased me down from self-checkout and demanded to search my purse at the store exit physically blocking me at the exit after I had been cleared by the receipt checkers at the door. I nearly ran into her. Shocked, stunned, and shamed to be confronted so publicly and unsafely. I opened my bag to reveal… nothing. I was racially-profiled and she took it upon herself to enact “vigilante style justice” on me. She did not apologize when her assumption I had stolen proved to be nothing. The store’s administrators response was that they could not explain why she did what she did, but that it wasn’t supposed to happen, she was wrong, and said it would not happen again. They have done nothing to ensure me that this won’t happen again or made any genuine effort to try to make me whole by showing this “exceptional” event deserves an “exceptional” response to show they value my business and physical safety. I have severe anxiety just wondering if this will happen again. Please be advised and stay safe. No one should be treated with such callous disregard for humanity and safety and this business has not taken significant action to hold themselves accountable for my traumatic experience and the severely negative impact on my life.
I am addicted to Costco! Everyone is so friendly and helpful at every Costco I have been to. The food they make is amazing as is the Kirkland brand they have. It’s all quality goods. You do have to pay for membership but it pays for itself in one shopping visit. Well worth it! Make sure to check out the bakery as they have seasonal mini cakes, extra large cupcakes🤑, that they change up every 2months. Red Velvet and Gingerbread have been my favorites! Don’t forget the $5.00 Roasted chicken! I’ve yet to find better anywhere!
I went to the Tacoma, Washington location today. Spent a couple hundred bucks there. As I’m checking out with my cart full of stuff and the cashier scans my card. He immediately asks me if I’m there too. Like my card isn’t mine. I said that’s my card and he’s like oh. It progressively gets worse. I’m there with my wife and she pulls out her bank card first. Both our cards are connected to the same account. And I’m still in shock he accused me of not being me. He asks her if she has a card and I’m like she’s my wife and he said you can take her to costumer service and get her on my account if I’m the main card. And I’m like I am and my brother has the second card. Why would I give her my other card if we come here together. So basically, I’m not sure I want to buy anything because of the cashiers attitude with me. But I end up purchasing the items on my bank card. I don’t know if he targeted me because my skin color, or that I’m gay. It seems so because the people right before me used one card and he allowed both to pay. The wife counting out exact change. The lines were more busy than usual and not once did he or any other cashier in hearing distance ask about anyone else’s card or question payment. I feel like the cashier needs sensitivity training, costumer service training, and anti discrimination training. His name is Steven R and his OP# 823. Whatever that is. It makes me not comfortable coming back into that location at the very least. I never had a problem at Costco before. Spending 1000s yearly there. I understand if he was following policy but he came at it the wrong way and shouldn’t single out certain people. It doesn’t look right and it doesn’t feel good.
Nice Costco, parking is very tight. Customer service was great! The young man who helped us load the new freezer into the truck was awesome!
