What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I normally spend hundreds of dollars here. Not after today. The overpriced clothing and rude cashier named VERONICA was enough for me to shop elsewhere. Apparently getting the last word was necessary. Overall embarrassing experience. Kohl’s needs to invest all that overpriced clothing money into a customer service course. Maybe being black while returning shoes is a crime ( shoes that I PAID FOR). After returning boots that were NOT worn simply too small. I was given the 3rd degree if I had stole them. I was so upset donated much $34.00 gift card to someone else. So sad the location on I-35 is closed. I will not be spending a penny in Kohl’s again to be embarrassed.

  2. Good deals when you can get them. They don’t open on time you have to stand and wait a lot of times. They have Amazon return center. They usually only have one register open. The inventory is hit and miss. The toy area is a big mess and hard to find things.

  3. Retail during the holidays can be pretty stressful. With the increased traffic and lots of moving parts you can imagine the staff could feel overwhelmed from time to time. However the staff at this Kohls location was absolutely fantastic. They made sure to attend to each customer’s needs and provide a stress free shopping experience. One specific employee Stephen did an incredible job at the customer service center today. He helped me with a transaction and was friendly from the very beginning. Thanks Stephen for providing a memorable shopping experience.

  4. Store is clean and decently kept but we are disappointed with the way a particular situation was handled. We bought a $50 gift card in store a while ago and gifted it to someone for their birthday. When they went to use it, it turns out the cashier had not properly activated the card at time of purchase so the card could not be used. Pretty embarrassing but I am typically understanding when mistakes happen. things happen. What I can’t accept however is that no one would help us with a solution. We called the gift card number and customer service, but they said they couldn’t help and redirected us to the store. When we went to the store, they gave us the same run around and said it couldn’t be resolved. So essentially we got scammed. Got charged $50 and received nothing in return. Kohls takes no accountability. Won’t be shopping there anymore

  5. I rarely shop, but went to Kohl’s yesterday. Long line, one cashier, two other cashiers in customer service IGNORING and TURNING AWAY paying customers. I asked the cashier to call for backup. She told me she did and would call again, and I should “have a nice day”. How sweet. Perfect disposition for someone in retail. When an employee arrived at the front with a lanyard around her neck, the two useless cashiers in customer service decided to open up and the line finally moved. The customer who was turned away would not go to their registers when called. The customer in front of me watched the whole thing and was so surprised saying she felt bad for her being turned away the way she was in front of a long line of people. Of course I got some dirty looks for asking to call for backup. When I got home, one item still had the security tag on it. I guess people don’t want to work anymore. Today, I went back to have it taken off. Long lines again, but today there was more attitude. Happy to not be a part of the clans of people who lead consumer-driven lives. And this Kohl’s stinks.

Like this Kohl’s. I needed to return a few sweaters and there were no issues. Prefer to shop with them online however, when I need to visit a store this is the one I prefer. Employees are friendly, store is organized and they have a good selection. Location in Sunset Valley around all of the other big chain stores so it’s super convenient. What else can you ask for.

I purchased an air fryer online for this location. It was a great deal and a reputable brand so I pulled the trigger and ordered it. I received an email saying it was ready so I drove the 20 miles to the store to pick it up. They brought it out and everything looked good so drove home and opened it up to cook that night. After opening the box I realized the plastic bag was torn like it had been opened and when I pulled the tray out there was grease in it. This fryer had been used before! I called the store and they told me to come exchange it and they had another one in stock. Drove to the store exchanged it out and then asked if the manager could adjust the price as I made two trips there for a total of 80+ miles driven and over 2 hrs. The manager said ok and knocked $10 off the price and I was so frustrated at that point that I accepted and left. Understandable that mistakes happen but I believe they should have reduced the price more given the shape of the product in the box and the fact that I had to drive 2+ hours on a Sunday afternoon which by time this was resolved we weren’t able to use it that night.

Store was so messy and disorganized I couldn’t find anything

Summary: very clean, very affordable, very empty, very babyboomer. The details: my wife and I visited on a Wednesday around 3pm. Upon arrival we noticed the parking lot sparsely covered in cars. Once we entered the Kohl’s, it became clear as to why. There were very few people in the store. The store was clean, well stocked and had plenty of employees on hand to help out should you need it. Of the folks that were there shopping, a majority seemed to be babyboomer clearance seekers. Of those at least 2 held up the very short register lines when it was time to check out with our items. One lady had some issue with a return item and the other was debating the price of the item with the clerk. A third salesperson saw this fiasco and helped the next person in line over at the jewelry counter. I like Kohl’s as they have good deals and interesting inventory however I find retail shopping to be a PIA more often than not. This isn’t Kohl’s fault, it’s my own in that I’m too impatient now given the opportunity to shop online for same day or next day delivery items from online vendors. It appears that Kohl’s is trying to have a unique advantage by offering so many clearance areas, but I’d argue that this might be attracting the wrong type of shopper given the quality of their inventory. Will I be back? probably. Will Kohl’s still be there as a brick and mortar? My gut tells me no, but I’ve been wrong before.

This Kohl’s does have a good selection of brands and styles like probably all of their stores. I find Kohl’s to be a bit expensive unless you are using the coupons they send you or the item is on sale. I’ve never seen this store busy unless it’s the Christmas shopping season.
