I had a fantastic experience with Lane and Joyce in November 2019 when working with them in the real estate law sector. I purchased my first home and I could not have asked for things to go more smoothly. It was such a relief to have such a personable and informative lawyer handle my documentation during my first home buying experience. Working with Bowsher+Bowsher as a whole was seamless. I will be purchasing another home this year, and look forward to working with Lane and her support team again. Highly recommend. 11/10.

I would recommend Mo’s law office over and over again. Mo provided an excellent review of previous application refusals and recommended next best steps to turn around the decision in a new application. She was professional and confident through the whole process and she put in her best to ensure a successful application despite previous series of refusals. You will not have any regrets working with Mo on your immigration needs. She is simply the best at what she does.

    Where do I start from?

I reached out to Mo after she was referred by a friend who is already in Canada and I must tell you for free, it has been an awesome journey all the way. She’s too kind, polite, amazing, awesome, diligent, professional and pays attention to details to be real. Sometimes, I asked myself how someone can possess all of these great attributes.

The journey started with admission processes and I decided to retain her service afterwards, for visa application for me and my family (family of 4).

She is always willing to answer my conglomerate of questions and offer professional advices.

Mo is now my lawyer turnd sister for life just because she is good at what she does and I will like to recommend Mo’s Law Office anytime, anyway to anyone willing to make that life changing decisions.

Our application have been approved just because I have God and Mo at my corner.

I deeply appreciate your efforts and for always attending to my late night and weekends calls and messages.

God bless you so much Sis like I fondly call you now.

According to the 2021 Canadian census, immigrants in Canada number 8.3 million persons and make up approximately 23 percent of Canada's total population. This represents the eighth-largest immigrant population in the world, while the proportion represents one of the highest ratios for industrialized Western countries.Following Canada's confederation in 1867, immigration played an integral role in helping develop vast tracts of land. During this era, the Canadian Government would sponsor information campaigns and recruiters to encourage settlement in rural areas; however, this would primarily be only towards those of European and religious Christian backgrounds, while others—particularly Hindus, Buddhist, Shinto, Sikh, Muslim, and Jewish immigrants—as well as the poor, ill, and disabled, would be less than welcome. Following 1947, in the post-World War II period, Canadian domestic immigration law and policy went through significant changes, most notably with the Immigration Act, 1976, and the current Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) from 2002.The main drivers of population growth are immigration, driven mainly by economic policy and also family reunification. A record number of 405,000 immigrants were admitted to Canada in 2021, with plans to increase the annual intake of immigrants to 500,000 per year. New immigrants settle mostly in major urban areas in the country, such as Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Canada also accepts large numbers of refugees, accounting for over 10 percent of annual global refugee resettlements; it resettled more than 28,000 in 2018 and has spent $769 million in 2023 alone for free housing and meals.
