  Our company uses many attorneys nationwide, Hughie Hunt is by far the worst one I’ve ever encountered and that is saying a lot! I approached him back in January 2023 to open a probate for one of our clients so we could make a claim for money that was due her late father. We contacted Hughie Hunt to open the probate and get our client appointed administrator. Trusting him was probably one of the worst mistakes ever! He proceeded without our knowledge or approval to get himself appointed administrator, highjacked the claim from us, stole our client, collected the money we were due, paid himself a fat commission, and left us high and dry! Our company lost over $16K because of his treachery. When I called him out on it, he tried to sidestep the whole issue and said he had “no authority” to do anything. I guess he had all the authority to steal our client, steal our money, but no authority to do what was right. Zero loyalty. Zero accountability. Zero ethics. One of the worst experiences with an attorney I have ever had! We will be filing a bar complaint. If you read this review and are considering using his services, DO NOT USE HUGHIE HUNT. Your bank account will thank you and you’ll probably have a few less gray hairs too! It’s unfortunate that Google can’t let you award negative stars.

  When I questioned a violation of my HIPPA rights by their affiliate Maryland Physicians Association d/b/a Maryland Health Care, sent a fraudulent unauthorized request to my primary care doctor for my medical records, Hughie Hunt refused to take my calls and threatened they could not represent my case without those records.

  I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ATTORNEY FOR PERSONAL INJURY CASES.

  DO NOT SIGN ANY BLANK release of information, release of medical records forms. COURTS take it very serious the confidentiality of medical information which MUST BE SUBPOENAED if necessary in TRIAL CASE. Attorneys DO NOT NEED your medical records to commence settlement negotiations.

  Mr.McCollum was extremely rude and condescending. I called and left a message with the receptionist stating that I was referred by someone and wanted to schedule a consult. When Mr. McCollum called me back he did not sound pleasant on the phone at all, almost as if he didn’t want to be bothered.

  Totally unprofessional. The owner called me while he was chewing and smacking on the phone. I totally understand folks get hungry, but either eat first or eat after, but not during a call to a potential client. I lost interest in them having to represent. Then he acted like I was bothering him or doing him a favor.
