  Sahil Sharma has been taking care of all my flight needs, he goes the extra mile to provide good services, I was in Nigeria one time and I called him to book tickets for my family, he was able to find cheap flights on Lufthansa for me in January which is busy.   We went on a family trip to Mexico for a week this past September and everything was awesome. Lauren and the Travel Guru team did a great job with suggesting a resort and booking our trip.   When I first booked I went through a travel guru rep thinking it would make our booking process a simple one, but that didn’t happen. I had at least five issues trying to make payment, trouble on their end. They came back a couple weeks later saying I didn’t pay enough. I had to speak to a supervisor to get a full breakdown of my multiple different payments to them so I could properly calculate. They also ended up giving me incorrect information about sunwing luggage, they made me pay for our luggage when our luggage should have been free (we unnecessarily paid for each of us to have a second additional luggage on two flights). When I brought up this mistake to travel gurus they blamed it on the travel guru rep representative directly and told me that I have to contact them. The travel rep said she would give me a credit on my next vacation, however trying to get a response from her it has been almost impossible, either doesn’t respond or sends me vacations not within my criteria. It’s obvious they don’t want to pay for their mistake. We ended up spending $340 on this extra luggage cost that was not needed and I was never reimbursed for THEIR big mistake. Travel Gurus informing their customers if luggage is included in the vacation cost should be a simple, big error on their part.

  * In regards to their reply, Yes this is from July 2023, however no one has reimbursed me although I have made multiple attempts to get this resolved- hence the review. I think its poor business practice to tell a customer to contact the representative to fix this overcharge (a fired representative). This representative/travel agent worked for Travel Gurus and had a travel gurus email. This is not some random outside person. Poor business practice and I have no confidence in their ability to fix mistakes on their end. This representative worked for your company, and in turn the company should be correcting this over charge. Until they make this right I warn everyone, find a different company to book your trips. You may end up saving yourself an extra $340 charge.
