Level 13: The tradesmen: Those in the building trades are doomed to wander the store eternally looking for the last two items to finish a job that the Home Depot app says are on the shelf, but the shelf itself is not there. There are no active employees, just people in vests who don’t work in that department but will send someone your way….. Someone explain how aisle 50 is nowhere near aisle 48. Aisle 48 is the very front of the store and 50 is all of the way in a back corner. . I did find something that should work for my needs, but spending time wandering around just trying to find the correct aisle is one of the many reasons to hate the box stores. Aside from wishing there was a…… dare I say it, a True Value nearby, the store itself is fine. Labor to install in bathrooms doesn’t include around toilet and I must remove myself. When do they tell you? When you pay for it. Not when you’re in store. Updated 2020 loved walking through the garden center taking photos being inspired by all the pretty colors. The staff are so friendly. parking is easy. Great prices
2018- Great place has everything in my one place. Gardening center is so beautiful to walk through. They are always so very helpful and knowledgeable. Its easy to find what u need they have signs for every aisle and department. I like that they have discounted items in back of store too worth checking out. They have good return policy as long as you have your receipt. They also have a you scan so u can hurry pst people with big orders.
I mentioned that I had ties with landlords. Some employee followed me around the store for literally over 20 minutes, talking to me about their loyalty program or something. It felt like someone trying to get me to buy their jewelry at a beach.
I came in for wood flooring. A wood flooring employee (different from the first guy) said he would help me. I waited over 20 minutes. He forgot about me.
You guys need to spend more time training your employees. My entire experience was a joke. It makes for a good story at least. “The time I went to home depot”
I had a good customer experience at the appliance section, the representative cleared all my questions amd more. I was in the search for dryers. Here are some of what is available right now.
It’s a Home Depot, that’s always good, but better come in with a plan because good luck getting assistance. The knowledgeable, helpful employees are clearly overworked, but once you can finally get a hold of one then they’re great. Definitely plan to add 30 minutes to a quick trip though. Appreciate that they will help make out of state orders for rural residents to pick up.
I ordered an area rug for curbside pickup. I tried their app to notify them of my arrival. Don’t bother, it doesn’t work. Just call the number on the sign in the parking lot. The delivery was very quick after making contact.
