What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. This particular Home Depot has the best customer service I have seen, and it hasn’t just been a one-off experience, this is consistently good. The people here at this location genuinely care about their customers. You might not expect this from a store on the east side of the city, but it’s true!

They most recently helped me with a Milwaukee Rotary Tool exchange and it was so easy. Back to work!

  2. Home depot should really take a look at there staff and remove a few, especially the lumber department. We generally have exceptional service here, but tonight was beyond rude and unprofessional. Being a contractor that spends plenty of money and time here, we help maintain, flip, remodel and do emergency repairs to properties all year long. We come in 10-15 times a week for supplies, enough that a few staff even know our names. I have never, at any store been told “I’m closing this isle, you need to leave” while we are in the middle of grabbing boards. This was what i was told from a staff member in lumber. Sorry we were shopping at 6PM for tomorrow’s job supplies. Thankfully we went down to lowes across the street, josh was happy to help us find our supplies to finish this current remodel. He even helped load us up, and make sure we had everything we needed. And didn’t kick us out of the isle we needed. Not sure if Home depot will be our go to for 2023 anymore unfortunately.

  3. Pro desk is wonderful I don’t know much about/ interact with many other employees besides the paint department. But these guys do their best to get us contractors in and out as quickly as possible. On a personal level I’ve spent a lot of money at Home Depot over the years I’ll always be a repeat customer

  4. This lady can NOT work with the costumers.
    Her name is Digna.
She doesn’t have the sympathy or the manners to work on the front with costumers.
Her body language says a lot and she may have some situations on her personal life but Geeezzz.
Thank you Andrew (the manager)for taking care of me in a simple situation that she couldn’t handle.

  5. The pro desk here is junk. The lady looked at me and said she can’t help me as she just stands there. There’s a line with probably 10 people and one other checker. And two managers came out and said that they can’t help either. Looks like a bunch of children running the show. Go to tractor supply! Way better and cheaper.

Normally the customer service at Home Depot stores is fantastic. But I visited this store today and was shocked at the evident “we don’t care” attitude of the employees. I walked in at the customer service desk, where there were 5 employees behind the desk with no customers in sight. I asked where the key-making machine was, and they told me aisle 16. I walked down to aisle 16 and waited for awhile for an employee to come to help me (they don’t have self service machines there and a sign says to get an associate to help you). No one came so I walked over to the next aisle and found a male employee. I said “hi I need help making a key?” He was looking right at me as I spoke, mumbled something under his breath, and then walked away with a cart of items. Ok? So I went to the nearest cashier (she had no customers either) and I said I needed help making a key. Well she didn’t have a radio to ask for someone to help me. So I walked back to the customer service desk and asked if I could get help making a key. Finally one of the 5 people at the customer service desk walked with me to aisle 16 to make a key. He inserted my key and determined that they can’t do any custom keys for my key. I explained that I just had the key made a few weeks ago at another Home Depot, so how is it I can’t get another custom key made at this Home Depot? He said he didn’t know and apologized, and I left. So after asking 7 employees for help, I’m told I can’t be helped. My only assumption is that the machines at the two store must be very different, especially considering the one at the other store was a self-service machine. Who knows, but I’m honestly shocked that when I first asked customer service where the key-making machine was, that someone wasn’t sent to help me right away, and that I had to come all the way back and ask again. And the customer service desk and check out lines were empty too. :/

I usually have a great experience at Home Depot, but the customer service here is a joke. My company needed to return some construction material to this location and you’d have thought I was trying to steal from Ft. Knox. Even though we all have the same company account, because I personally didn’t by a few items. They simply said I cannot return them, even though I was going to spend all that money plus some in store today. The return policy is a joke. I’d have probably been more understanding but the customer service person Victoria and the manager Justin were completely dismissive and really didn’t give a darn that I was here. I’m very disappointed in the professionalism of these employees and I guess for large purchases moving forward, I’ll be taking my business to Lowe’s. Shame on you Home Depot for insinuating that I am trying to rob you somehow even though we spend well over half a million dollars per year here while just you stand by and watch people just walk out the doors with merchandise.

Everything was easy to find, business as usual. Our checkout took way longer than necessary because the cashier made a lot of mistakes while trying to look up lumber and scan the correct items. We tried to help but it was a disaster. Usually have a quick trip here but this one was a bit frustrating as we were tired and it was late and it shouldn’t have taken so long to get out of there.

We ordered an item online. I was charged immediately for it (as expected). We drove all the way to this location. When we arrived, they told us that our order wasn’t ready. We waited. We were then told they didn’t have the item in stock, despite the fact that it said so online. We were then told that if it says there is only 1 item left in stock, it is a lie. It usually means that there is 0, and we should assume so moving forward. I would recommend that they fix this issue moving forward. Otherwise, this location is nice and clean.

Curbside pickup is a little hard to get into with a truck. Let’s face it, a high number of folks going to home Depot will be in trucks. Otherwise nice normal home Depot
