  Can I give them 10 stars? I have never been fond of getting my haircut but This place has me looking forward to my haircuts. I was greeted with an open bar consisting of whiskey beer and wine. I opted for a whiskey neat and it was a generous pour.

  My barber, Theresa, was wonderful and we hit it off talking about several subjects as she cut my hair. For the ambiance, customer service, free drink, and amazing haircut. You could not beat the price. They do a wonderful job here!

  I’ve given this place many chances but it’s just downright bad. These people do not know how to cut hair. Last few times I’ve come here for a simple buzzcut I’ve come away with a $30 bill and long chunks of hair sticking out all over…plus a weird mini-mullet in the back? see pics attached. Inadequate staff and lazy service – stay away unless you are trying to look like Cynthia from Rugrats.

  Laid back and classy atmosphere, arrive early for your appointment and have a drink while you wait.

  I got my haircut by Theresa and she did a phenomenal job. I commiserated with her about my last, terrible haircut and went into this one with some apprehension and residual fear of having someone new working on my hair.

  Within 5 minutes I knew I was in good hands. She took the time to ask questions and clarify exactly what I was looking for. At the end of the cut she styled my hair and then took some extra weight out around the sides when it didn’t quite sit right. I couldn’t be happier with the result and will be using her as my exclusive Portland barber from here on out!

  5 Stars for Cable Tucker. I have not received a service from any of the other barbers at Cloak and Dagger, so I can’t speak for any of them. Cable is not only a great professional when it comes to cutting hair, but a knowledgeable expert on the subject. I am very happy with the haircut and experience I received today.

  I’ve been here many times. I usually schedule random whoever can do my service b/c they’re all great and I like talking to new people. Can’t go wrong with anyone here.

  I was best man to my old roomie and brought the grooms party here before hand, we all looked great and all had different things done. Most recently, I decided I wanted a mullet and specifically requested Jenn as she’d had one when she cut me in the past. I didn’t really know how to go forward but she asked me a few questions about how I wanted the mullet and made me comfortable about it all. Best part was that she executed to the max after that.

  Definitely go here, it’s the best. Allen, Jenn and Blake are some of my stand out favorites here that I remember.

  Have been needing a haircut for quite some time and moved to the area two months ago. Finally found time and decided to try out Heritage Barbershop. Had my first appointment today with Jenn and had a great experience and equally great cut. Everyone working at the time were welcoming and genuinely nice to be around. Definitely going back when I need my next cut.

  Just a poor haircut by a barber who seemed that he couldn’t care less about being at work or providing quality work.

  Basic high fade (Peaky Blinders style) with cut-in part, 1/2″ off the top after four weeks growth. The barber repeated it and got started…then handed me the mirror twenty minutes later and asked what I thought!

  Let’s review: I was quoted $38 for a cut, and he verbally repeated what I asked for after sitting down…”1/2 inch off the top, and a cut-in part.” I had replied, “yes”.

  Back to the twenty minute mark…totally surprised, I asked how much he had taken off the top…he said “a little more than 1/4″ inch”. I asked him about the cut-in part…he said, “did you want me to cut it in?” Somewhat frustrated, I repeated what we had discussed twenty minutes earlier, and he said that he would fix it.??? Huh

  Final insult to poor service and below average haircut was being charged $45 instead of the quoted $38 and I was out of the shop in 31 minutes. Gave him $10 as a parting gift since Heritage Burnside will never see me again.

  My advice: Go somewhere else, anywhere else. Try a basic barbershop, go to a Barber-Q franchise shop, ask a friend. If my experience today is the quality standard at Heritage Barbershop, then they will never miss you, because they simply couldn’t care less.

  This was my first time visiting Heritage Barber Shop. My barber was Blake and he was also my first male barber. I am so happy with my cut and he knew exactly what I wanted and the length. He always made sure to ask how the length was and when I suggested more he was happy to cut more!

  I’ve been to this barber shop a number of times and have always left happy. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, even if you show up as a walk-in. You can only make same-day appointments, so I recommend calling shortly after they open to guarantee yourself a reservation. The shop has a nice vibe, and all the barbers who cut my hair were great. Ashley and Sung are particularly good. The shop is open, inviting, often with some sports game playing in the background. This barber shop is definitely kid-friendly, and reasonably priced.

  Great local barber shop! Fantastic stylists/barbers. I have been coming to this location for over 15 years and have had great experiences each and every time. Jung is the Queen bee here for sure as said in other reviews, but I would trust my shaggy locks to any of the folks here. They are all pro’s and really listen to what their customers want. They’re even good when you don’t know what you want but you want to look good. Lots of TV’s, (you can request a show or game) free soda, free popcorn (when we aren’t in a pandemic) and great products for keeping your coif civilized. 🙂 Great place for great cuts.

  All the staff are great people, but MY JUNG is incredible. She knows exactly what to do when I come in. Gives me a short do we call “Bed Head” I’ve been going to her for years. And I’m very happy. I’m known as Late Lori or Last Minute Lori
