2 months agoI always enjoy shopping at Penney’s. Today was no exception. We were shopping for my grandson’s first suit and they were extremely helpful. We were not sure of sizes (my grandson enjoys t-shirts, shorts and exercise pants) and I had my 20 month old grandson with us. The woman helping us was patient and grabbed other sizes and styles for us. The cashier was so very pleasant and knowledgeable about what was on sale and what reward points I would be eligible for. It was a great experience. My only complaint would be that the store is hot. No one wants to try clothes on when it’s hot and they are sweaty and no one wants to try on clothes that someone who is hot and sweaty has tried on. Crank up the a/c. 😀in the last weekI needed a specific length for curtain rods. Very helpful sales associate. I have never had a bad product from Penneys and shop in store and online.3 weeks agoIf I could give 0 or negative stars I would. I took my ring to be cleaned and they said it would take up to 4 weeks for it to return. I had to call 4 weeks and two days later to check the status of my ring. They told me they didn’t have it but would find out the status and call me back. They then called back and said it was there and was misplaced so that was where the miscommunication happened and I could come pick it up. A little later I got another call from the jewelry counter telling me that my ring was never sent out to be cleaned. HOW CAN A RING BE MISPLACED FOR MORE THAN 4 WEEKS AND NOBODY NOTICE! Terrible customer service and I will NEVER take my ring back there. Things that are of that value SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED IN THEIR HANDS. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM.2 months agoThis store was clean & had a wide variety to choose from. The checker was nice & quick. & we enjoyed BOGO half off everything we purchased! 2 months agoI placed an order online on June 3. In my order I was informed I would receive an email when my order was ready to pick up. The expected time frame for the order to be ready was 6/7 – 6/12. I never received any emails so I logged online on 6/12. Part of my order was mailed and one item was store pick up. Online it stated if I didn’t pick up my order by 6/10 it would be returned. So I called the store. After being passed around to 3 different associates I had an associate who was pleasant and told me to go to customer service and it would be there. So I went to the store right away. I went to customer service and there were 2 older ladies working. Both kind of ignored me. Finally one asked what I needed. I told her I was there to pick up my order. She asked for the order # and then told me it was in the self pick up bin. I went to the numbered bin and it was empty. So I told her nothing was there. I told her I had called and was told to come to customer service. She said well why didn’t you tell me that! So she went to the back room to get my pkg. I have to say this isn’t the first time I have encountered a rude clerk at a Kohls customer service. I think you need further customer service training!2 years agoThis was my first time visiting this Kohls location. I usually do my shopping at the Kohls at 84th and O St close to Aldi. I didn’t have much time to do much research but at my first glance at this location it seemed to be much more well kept. I did look around quickly for some spots that may need some work. Normally these would be sales racks, high traffic areas, sunglasses etc.. I found many employees working very hard try to keep this store in order. It did not go without noticed. Checkout is smooth, goes quickly.5 months agoShopping for big & tall clothes is always a challenge around here. Kohls has a surprisingly decent selection of stuff though that wont break the bank, unlike some other retailers that sell B&T mens clothes. Downside is the majority of it is geared towards athletic wear, with some casual wear tossed in. And due to low staffing, which is understandable nowadays, the checkout process is slow. Overall not a bad place to shop. Avoid busier times if youre in a rush.3 months agoDid away with drive pickup AND self pickup is clear in the back. Cool. It also seems like theft waiting to happen, it’s only in an open faced box with a number on it.

Lots of markdowns as well as regular priced merchandise. Very clean and organized. Very few personnel available at mid afternoon for assistance but the checkout employee was excellent.
They need to put more plus size clothing in this store. Upsetting when you go in see all the clothes and very small section of plus size. Will not be going back.
