Just FYI. My mom ordered a fresh, ie; non-frozen, fully cooked, browned turkey today. Using Quick Pick, she went to get her groceries. After getting home we found a frozen solid, unbrowned (browned using caramel coloring, which is UNBROWNED, well, maybe “beiged”, see pics) She even called ahead to make sure it was “fresh” not frozen and browned. They lied. Inspect what you expect. Just saying.
So I love this Kroger. They provide so many options for my Vegetarian diet. It’s great. The employees are so friendly and helpful. The only problem is the bathroom. I have had three separate awful experiences involving this Kroger bathroom. The first I had to report feces covering the floor and walls. The second was dried vomit from the toilet outside of the stall. When I went in today there was blood on the seats in two separate stalls. I know that Kroger cannot control what customers may do in the bathroom and we’re in a time of short staffing. Maybe consistently checking the conditions of the restroom could be an option. I know that people can be garbage and cleaning up after them is awful. I’ve worked in service industries and healthcare. Trust me I know. It’s just not really fair to the customers who aren’t garbage.
Clean enough, but check out was horrible! I counted 11 employees talking, laughing and doing nothing while I checked myself out and bagged over 200.00 worth of groceries, I finally walked to the service desk and asked a group of employees for help. They scattered like ants, the only one who answered me said he was off the clock. A girl who had been helping someone else bag came over and helped me at the very end but my gosh, it was painful to have to do the whole thing myself. Next time I will just go to Walmart. Horrible service!
Prices can be fairly higher than most stores, especially a lot of the meat. However, they usually have the best produce overall in my opinion. Also, the parking lot is horrible.
Amazing grocery store! This place was stocked to the nine! Produce was fresh, and there were so many choices. The meat department was impressive! There were so many varieties of meats. It was full, clean, and the prices were comparative to others. All the isles were stocked with a variety of selections, some I haven’t seen at other Kroger stores! I shop at many! New Albany, Gahanna being 2 I have been extremely dissatisfied with in their selections and availability. The dairy/cheese section had more items to choose from than any Kroger I have been to, and my husband is an OTR truck driver. I don’t eat frozen pizza, but if you want to have choices, I suggest going to this Kroger. The clerks were friendly, and so were the people! I’m a talker, and everyone I spoke or joked with responded happily back! I am over an hour from this store, but this will be my grocery store from now on! 2 Thumbs up to the management. It takes a lot to impress me…. I am totally impressed!
