  I made an appointment for myself and my son with Nickii L. Waited over an hour in the store as she continued to take first available customers . I intentionally made the appointment to avoid this. There where other stylist available to take the customers that did not make appointments. I have never had this happen before and have been a Sport Clips customer for several years . I will not bring my business back to this location again.

  Just moved to Columbia and had to find a new barbershop…I came in and got my hair cut by Jackie and she did an AMAZING job. She knows what she’s doing and while I was skeptical of having to find a new barber, I ended up extremely happy because she cuts even better than my last barber. It took her only 15 minutes to do a better job than my last barber who took over 30 minutes. Highly recommend.

  I made an appointment and was assigned the barber named “Jake.” I sat in the chair, asked for a medium fade haircut and to “clean up” on top. There was no further exchange of words or clarification, aside from the question of “1 on the sides or skin?” “Jake” turned me around in the chair, away from the mirror, and proceeded to cut my hair into a USMC drill instructor’s dream high and tight haircut. I look like a recruit leaving Parris Island. No offense to any service members, but this was absolutely not what I wanted. There was no clarification throughout the cut. “Jake” did not ask before he cut all my hair off the top. The fade was also certainly not “medium” as it is about two inches closer to the crown of my head than what I expected. It is a high and tight. Of course, had I been facing the mirror throughout the cut, I would have gladly clarified. There was no consultation during the cut. I am writing this to warn future customers to at the very least make sure the barber knows what you want, because I don’t want any of you to unintentionally look like Gunny Hartman in the future. Also, this goes without saying, it was incredibly overpriced. They also offered me a beer at 9AM. Let’s focus on finding barbers who know what they’re doing first. I am not an attractive man. I need all the help I can get. This haircut made me uglier and for that, I am angry. Go somewhere else in 5 points or just BIC your scalp bald yourself. Save the money.

  I have been coming here for about a year at this point and have gotten a cut from several barbers. Every time I have left feeling great. The two free drinks with a cut certainly are a bonus

  My third visit here and I am thrilled by the level of service provided from every employee I’ve had the pleasure to interact with. While waiting free refreshments are offered for your enjoyment while relaxing in some really comfortable decor. The refreshments include a selection of ice cold beers. All the traditional barber services are provided. Including shaves and beard shaping. Everyone is friendly and the space is inviting. Parking is typical for the 5 points area, there is however a small parking lot available to customers behind the building and the barber shop has a second entrance with access to the parking lot. Look for the image of the barber pole on the door to find the back entrance.

  Best haircut I’ve had in Columbia hands down. The employees were awesome, I had a beer while waiting and then had the greatest Barber. Jackie saw my vision and executed it to perfection. We had great conversation the whole time and overall it was an amazing afternoon.

  I took two of my sons, ages 11 and 12 to get a haircut. Zee did a decent job on both boys. Surprisingly the timer was accurate considering past experiences. My frustration is the prices, especially for children cuts. This location only recognizes 10 and under for children cuts, and charged $26 for each of my kids. That is without a shampoo or hot towel too. The MVP for adults with all that would have only been a few dollars more. Definitely not a place I would want to take my children back for a cut. Not for that price.

  Let me first say that when I finally got a haircut, Zee did a great job. I arrived at 10am and didn’t get it until 11:45am. I always select first available because it’s a chore and just want to get it done. I would’ve been out a lot sooner but the red haired women (sorry, only identifier I have) slowly shuffled around for a little over half an hour after finishing a customer. If this was a $300 haircut an hour and forty five minute wait is justifiable. This is Sports Clips so completely ridiculous. I won’t return to this location.

  Every Sports clips is like this. You get a good stylist but even if you check in online you still will have a bare minimum of a 2 hour wait. Then the majority of the time you show up 30 minutes before your scheduled time and you will still have to wait another hour. I got here at 4pm and watched them actually turn away customers because they were so ridiculously booked up. Need more stylist as money just walks right out the door. Other than wait times the service is great. Just download a movie before you come in so you can pass the time.

  Tried to get a haircut today, but only two stylists were in the store. Waited for over an hour; in that space of time, neither of them said a word to me or otherwise acknowledged my existence. Both disappeared from the floor for five to ten minutes after each cut, and two other customers who checked-in after me were taken ahead of me. No apology for wasting my time, for the wait, for anything. Then, they post a paper note on the door saying they are closing early. My attempt to complain about the lack of service was met with the excuse that the “manager was out of town” and that she would “call be back.” I would recommend cutting my own hair before going here.
