  My husband and I have been to Paulies a few times now and couldn’t be happier with our cuts, the professionalism of the staff and the overall vibe of the establishment. We relocated to LYH not long ago and it’s been a struggle to find a barber who is comfortable and talented enough to give me (a woman) a short and tight skin fade. These guys are legit great barbers and will be our go-to for years to come. I see Matt and am thrilled with his service. Husband sees Charles (Chuck) and is stoked as well. Paulie is a real soul guy and obviously takes pride in his establishment. We will be bringing our kiddos here as well. If you’re looking for a great cut in an inclusive and unpretentious shop then look no further. Their online booking system is easy to use and I recommend getting on their schedule now!

  My son had two haircuts in the Lynchburg/Forest area before we came to Paulie’s. My son is mixed, Hispanic and his previous cuts at other locations made styling particularly challenging. The barbers here are experienced with ethnic hair types. They did a good job repairing his cut and making it manageable to style. We will be utilizing them for all future hair cuts.

  Btw – Cost is $20. They are busy on weekends, so I definitely recommend a weekday cut. They accept credit cards, too.

There’s literally no one that I trust more – coast to coast – than Maurice (Jordan to those who know him best) with my hair. I’ve never been disappointed a SINGLE time after having had him cut me for years. I cannot recommend him, or Ninth Street Parlor enough.

  The vibe is also fantastic, the Ninth Street Parlor is definitely the coolest barbershop I’ve ever been to, you won’t want to leave. They deliver way more then just a cut, it’s an experience you won’t find anywhere else

  First time here. Called for information and they accommodated the same day. They normally book by appointment only. Finding the parlor was fairly easy. It was after 5:00pm so we were fortunate to have free parking in the adjacent parking garage.

  The inside is fantastic. It felt like going back in time to the 1930’s! Gorgeous interior. Immaculate. Obviously well cared for by owners/management.

  There was another family already there when we arrived. A woman with 2 teen boys. Waited in the beautiful lobby area for about 25 minutes for the the stylist to call us in.

  The stylist was very kind. Took his time. Even offered beer and wine as a welcoming gesture! Got the cut exactly as requested. Overall the experience was very pleasant. Would definitely recommend to others.

  One of the best haircuts, if not the best, haircut I’ve ever had. Chopper was the coolest. We only talked for about 45 minutes, but in that time he was extremely professional, extremely funny, and gave an exceedingly amazing haircut. 10/10 would definitely recommend.
