They’re always in stock of the basics I need…and (curses!) they always have something I want but was not expecting to buy😂😂😂My top 10: ❤️ Rotisserie chicken every time ❤️ Kirkland Scotch ❤️ 5 dozen eggs ❤️ Pharmacy ❤️ Frozen fruit chunks ❤️ Fresh berry parks ❤️ Volcano lemon juice ❤️ Microfiber fuzzy blankets ❤️ spices and olive oil ❤️ THE $1.50 HOT DOG!!!
Always clean and well organized, and the store staff is pleasant and helpful.
3 weeks agoI came on 4/23/2003 to switch the dummy wheel with my wheel that ready with the new tire. The tire was installed on the wheel on a previous day. My first concern is the price of installation and new tire. I did buy the set of tires in October 2022. I got a flat on the front drivers side and had to use warranty to replace but why the price adjustment as I bought the 4 tires at the $150 discount. I needed only to pay I believe 12% of the original tire price, which was $191.39 but there was a price correction for the original price of $268.99 which I did not pay. So the 12% became over 30% doesn’t seem right. Even if it was 12% of original price then it would have been around $32.27 plus fees where the total price would not have been $90.58 (wo taxes). This doesn’t seem right since I paid only $12.98 in installation, so I paid $77.6 for new tire under warranty where it should have been only 12% of the new tire price!?Second concern is the time it took to install the tire. The wheel was already ready to be installed. All they had to do is take the dummy off and put the new wheel on but I had an appointment at 6pm and came a bit early, around 5:40 pm. Yet, I waited over 1:15 to put just 1 wheel on my car. I think I waited 2.5 hrs to completely replace 4 tires. If your going to make customers wait that long just to take a wheel off and put the other wheel on, don’t make the appointments.
My last concern is what the person working at the counter said to another person waiting for his car to be done. Since he had a TESLA and replacing his tires, the worker of COSTCO said that they are taking extra precautions to make sure they don’t damage or scratch anything. Now, that is great, but does that mean COSTCO tire installers don’t do that for other customers but just for people with fancy cars!? It surely does seems so!
a month agoI have been to the Verona and Middleton stores. A big disappointment is they keep moving things and last trip asked 3 employees for an item and all were wrong. The have no signs to tell you what is in an isle and no store guide. They do have good prepared main dishes to put in freezer when you are running short on time. Best deal hands down is hot dog and soda for $1.50. Great beef hotdog, love them.a month agoHorrible produce. I live an hour away. The items looked good in the store, but a day in the fridge, and they are molded. I know the return policy is great, but I can’t drive two hours round trip for new veg and fruit. They said to bring in the unused portions, but by the time I get there next month to return, it will be beyond rotten then.2 weeks agoRecently purchased a membership here and the staff was so accommodating and helpful-and friendly! Really enjoyed our maiden shopping experience. Great selection of everything and very reasonable prices.

3 months agoWhat can you say?!? A beautiful clean and new Costco. The folks are friendly, the place is clean, and the deals are great. Lines move fast.10 months agoIt’s Costco!! What do I have to say.Quick checkout, friendly staff. Bigger and more spacious. More gas pumps. Everything looks brand new, from gas to entrance to carts to entire warehouse is new.
Entrance faces south. Wide open entrance. Wheel chair accessible entrance.
Recommend this place and I will revisit.
a month agoThere are three Costcos in the Madison area — this is the newest. Parking is expansive, the staff are friendly, and it’s never busy no matter when we visit. It’s a bit of a drive for us, but it’s a MUCH better experience than Sun Prairie and easier to access than Middleton. It will change over time, but for now it’s our favorite.2 weeks agoIt’s a Costco! Always busy. Always a good selection of curated things with good prices. If something is here it’s usually large. If it’s normal sized, expect that it will be attached to two or three other of the same item. Employees are nice. Parking is always difficult, but people who frequent costcos should expect that.2 months agoTypically I don’t post reviews for big companies, but my experience with a specific associate is worth it. I came with my senior father to get new glasses, and Liz in optical was amazing. She was SO patient and helpful. She took her time and answered each of his questions. I could tell she wanted to make sure he felt comfortable before leaving and never made us feel rushed. Liz is one of a kind, thank you for all the help!

Love this Costco! Always have what I need in stock and their setup is great! Love all the samples, I always end up buying something that I tried 🙂 also, 100% you need to try their cakes! Absolutely drool-worthy! Best grocery store cake I’ve ever had. The vanilla with cream cheese mousse layer is to die for!! I would keep my Costco membership just so I could have this cake for my birthday every year!!
Not the greatest selection nor always the best prices. Their food is above- average. Their little in-store food bar is really great and prices seem impossibly great. If they have the products you need, and you need bulk then this is a pretty good place. I enjoy shopping here.
Tire Department IS AWESOME! Haf to stop in on our way West due to a low tire light. It appeared to be our sensor but James was very helpful, had our car “relearn” the sensors and did some research as well. He educated us as to the process and then double checked some things for us. He also used it as a learning moment for his team. Everyone was awesome, helpful and polite. Highly recommend this Costco tire center
There are deals on some things but most of what is there doesn’t fit my style of cooking (from scratch). Seriously, it’s mostly frozen and prepackaged meals.
I still go back for some things though, but it’s hard to find a time when it isn’t packed with inconsiderate people. I only go when I have to.
I was able to get my prescription glasses refilled using my insurance as well as a Costco discount for getting two pairs. I got a regular pair of glasses and a prescription sunglasses for under the cost of what it would have cost for one pair. The staff was wonderful and caring and efficient. Glasses were well made.
