Whitney Way is now open again👍!, and I’d like to add compliments especially for checkout person, Geraldo, Thank You for being helpful, (cordial) like a business would be run, but with a very friendly type atmosphere, makes me want to return several more times galore, especially since I live in those brand new apartments right across the street👍! He was making us laugh regardless it was a bad day, there always someone who will make you laugh.6 months agoTried to go in on a Friday afternoon and doors were locked, no posting saying they were closed. I was confused and just headed to five below5 years agoWorst Dollar Tree I’ve ever been to. Bare shelves. I was here twice, months apart, and both times had bare shelves and long lines and slow checkers.a month agoNice staff but a really messy store.

2 months agoShopping today, Friday August 18, 8:15 pm. 2 young people ahead of me thought that everything in the store was $1.25. The checkout lady explained that over 2 years ago they started receiving larger items and things are priced as marked. Not everything for a buck anymore. Their items ranged from $1 to $5. They did not have enough money to pay for their $27 purchase. Susan, the checkout lady said, don’t worry, I’ll pay it for you. Without hesitation she reached under the counter, and from her purse she took a $10 bill and a $20 bill. She paid for their entire purchase. I’ve read posts of people unhappy with the service received at this store. I’m a long time loyal customer and cannot praise the staff enough. Susan, checkout lady at Dollar Tree on Mineral Point, deserves an award.in the last weekVery slow. Lady in front of was upset because everything is suppose to be $1.25 and they charged her 1.50 for some items. No help. Other dollar stores are better.4 years agoEverything is $1 or less. Although the address is on Mineral Point road, turn south onto D’Onofrio and it is easily visible in a strip mall with plenty of parking. This Dollar Tree location has a good inventory and variety of items. The store is clean as is the parking lot. If you deem this review helpful please give it a like. Thank you.6 months agoThe store is well stocked and usually very clean, but employees are always very rude! Every time I go in, they can’t wait for me to leave! They close at 8 on Sundays. The entry door was locked at 7:30! Another customer let me in the exit, as they were leaving. The employee sweeping, looked at me and grunted. Then, shouted OK. “You’ve got 3 minutes! We are closed.” I grabbed my 2 items and went to the register. The person sweeping hollered for the cashier, who was pleasant, maybe 8 feet away, made eye contact and was headed toward me. There was no need for the sweeper to treat her so badly! When I started my car, to leave, I noticed it was 7:40! I never feel welcome in that store. I always feel punished for bothering them….5 months agoWhat a wonderful experience compared with other locations. First they open at 8am which is a plus. Second , this place was clean,organized and stock , and the best part their staff were super nice and friendly. This location behind West Towne Mall.

Although this store stays pretty well stocked on most items, it can be a struggle to sift through the mess in order to locate it. I’ve visited several times and each time the place has been in a disarray. Employees here are pretty nice for the most part and greet you at the check out with a smile. This particular location stays pretty busy – I’ve waited in line for upwards of 15 minutes to pay. All in all it’s a solid choice for discount items.
Used to be my most favorite place to shop in all of their locations, sad though for the past 2 yrs of Covid, the Dollar Tree on East Washington near East Towne mall has really gone to the dogs! This past Monday I got charged $3 for a frozen food item that I wasn’t aware of until I was at home looking over my receipts, (see pics)
They might as well change their name to Dollars Tree!
⭐⭐⭐⭐4 stars for the employees who are clearly doing the best they can.
⭐1 star for the higher-ups – you need to appropriately staff your stores. This store is an absolute MESS but there’s never enough employees on hand to keep the place clean and organized. You are setting your employees up for failure, probably to save a buck, and it’s disgusting. Any complaints people have about your stores are clearly caused by inept management/upper management.
The store is alittle confusing right now, they are switching things around quite a bit and shelves are not even half full in some areas. Hope things move along quickly with this change over.
The store was not filled. Everything in boxes. It was disappointing
