What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I have NEVER received such unprofessional service in my life. I processed pictures to be developed and apparently the manager in electronics said that they were only doing 1 hour service. I did not hear her as I have hearing issues, but she insisted everyone else heard her well I didn’t. She was extremely rude. Because of her I will NEVER go back to that store. So unprofessional. I even tried to talk to store manager who was not available conveniently… I have been in customer service for 30+ years and would NEVER treat anyone the way i was treated today. She even mentioned how she was tired of everyone freaking on her… I didn’t do that at all I grabbed my receipt and told her to cancel my order and then she freaked out. I don’t appreciate being used as a punching bag when I did nothing wrong but genuinely not hear her and not have an hour to wait as I had my grandson with me.

  2. Overall a good place with a decent customer service!
Exceptions – 1. The veggies need less water spraying. They becomes all washed up and worn sorta all the time. Restocking doesn’t happen on time ever! Someone needs to manage the water spraying intervals better and restock it regularly! 2. Photo ID checks needs to be done by someone who has clear judgement and eyes! When a person looks different, focus on the eyes, eyebrows, etc. A person having beard, doesn’t have it the next day is a natural phenomenon. 3 – Stocking of things could be faster. Some sections stay empty for like a month. 4 – Have had some expired products (parle-G) rebadged and sold. Now that’s the importer playing Walmart fool, but please make a note. I’ve had oil smelling biscuits (parle-G) almost like 6-7 packets completely from 2 different batches with valid expiry gone bad. Not gonna buy the same product again. Will get something locally made here on. 4 – Self checkout is usually cut to one side during hours of less rush or staff! Needs to be managed more efficiently.

  3. I shop here everyday! Sometimes even multiple times a day if I need to. I just wish the staff wasn’t so weird sometimes, I hate being followed around the store like I’m a criimnal or something lol. They have accused me of stealing once in the past, it wasn’t very nice! I guess it’s because of the way I dress sometimes, in my pjs or sweatpants? I dunno… lol. Other than that it’s my favourite place to shop! 🙂

  4. The Woodlawn store has gone downhill over the past few years. The staff used to smile, engaged in conversation and seek out people to help. Now you’re lucky if you can find anyone to help and when you do ask, it’s like you’re putting them out. Groups of staff huddle together chatting in the food section all the time. Your breaks are for chatting. The staff who picks online orders never says excuse me which is so rude. There are a select few that are still pleasant but not even close to the same vibe as years past.

  5. I went to Woodlawn location looking for a baby crib and got excellent service from manager named Charlie, he went over and beyond helping find crib that was on sale.
I also love chatting with Albert, he is so friendly.

I put an order in March 9 th for a delivery time 5-6 pm. I got an email stating it was delivered at 5:09 pm. It was delivered to the wrong address. The on line manger told me that they would re send my order between 8-830 pm. I call back at 9:30 because my order still hadn’t arrived. They told me that the Uber driver was there to pick up my order and it should be delivered shortly. I waited up until 11:15 for my groceries but the delivery driver figured he could use the food for himself. I call this morning for a refund of my money. Signed a very angry customer!

It was the afternoon today, I bought 7 packs of maple cookies. The operator of the self check out area helped me to scan the stuffs, the receipt shows I bought 8 items, but I only bought 7 packs of cookies. I felt it at that time and asked her it was 7 packs, she said yes: ( She asked me to apply for a Mastercard of Walmart, I did not even know what it is, I thought it was the membership card. The process to cancel the application was not fluky as well, I called to the customer service of the MasterCard, it only said they are reviewing the process, even there wasn’t a human operator to answer the call. I went to their customer service after failed the calling, they said it can only be cancelled after receiving the card. So disappointed Walmart, I have lost faith in them : (

28/03/2023 at 2:45pm. I noticed that only 2 cash registers were open with a long line and I had 4 items so decided to go through self-checkout (no line). There was a sign advertising that self-checkout CAN accept cash. I go to pay and ask one of the 3 attendants to pay cash. He was not wearing a name tag. He rudely told me “seriously? that’s really time consuming”, which confused me because that’s literally his job and there was 3 people there. I pointed at the sign that says you can pay cash and he tells me “well, you’re going to be holding up a long line, that’s what the checkout lines are for”. I was shocked, as I’ve worked customer service for 5 years and have never spoken to a customer like that for simply requesting something that IS HIS JOB! And is advertised by Walmart!! He was very rude about it and passed me along to one of the other attendants to pay cash. The transaction took about 1 minute (Only 4 items!). The line kept moving so not sure why he had to act like it was such a big deal. No idea why him doing exactly what is supposed to was such an issue, or why he thinks it is okay to talk to people (customers, or just human beings in general) in that manner. Truly astonishing how he spoke to me, and how he didn’t want to do his job. Will NOT be coming back.

The staff are racist toward caucasians! Went to this location with my family. Went through self checkout. We were surrounded by 5 staff members and loss prevention on the way out, searching through our bags alledging that we stole an entire cart of groceries. Unfortunately, I always toss my receipts. The whole group brought us back to self check out and the LP employee re scan my whole cart of groceries, and the gurl was throwing my items unbagged back in the cart. When I showed her my online transaction that i paid for my groceries, she said she knows what shoplufters do. She accused my children of stealing as well. Ive now paid double for my grocery items, they have traumatized my children and made a huge scene, humiliating us in public.
