- Reviews:Walmart prices are ridiculous, on par with Value Village (and they get their junk donated). Self-checkouts with not so subtle staff that pick and choose who is worth watching. I’m done with American-style capitalism. Pretty soon they will be checking our receipts at the door. Overpriced cloth bags to lug around your purchased items were the last straw. I moved to the south end of town, and I still do my orders at the north location because honestly, the other location just doesn’t compete with the customer service I get during my pickups. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and speedy… I mean, it helps that most of them stop to say “hi” to my bulldogges. In all honesty though, they are just a great group of workers, and I will continue doing my pick-up orders at this location for as long as they are offering the service. She went above & beyond for me, looking to see if it was available in any of the other Walmart stores !!! This Walmart location also offers online grocery pick up with lots of clearly marked designated parking stalls for online customers only.
Walmart deserves a shoutout for the selection of internationals foods. From Filipino to Jamaican, this section is amazing. Specially in red deer. Also they have great sales
5 stars for the incredibly efficient and awesome cashier, Magda. She’s a fantastic lady.
3 stars barely, for the store. Suddenly we are now packing our own groceries, and the produce section can be pretty terrible. If groceries were not so expensive, I’d be shopping fully elsewhere, not just picking up a few items.
So many products unavailable. Horrible self check out and never any cashiers available. Overall just a stressful experience. I don’t feel valued as a customer. Will be taking my business elsewhere from now on
Went to pick up a prescription and the pharmacy assistant removed my benefits and overcharged me, and then I still had to wait another 40 minutes to get their mistake corrected. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Vita (the pharmacy employee) was slow and did not listen to me as I explained my coverage and that my receipt looked incorrect, she just shrugged her shoulders and did not care.
