  1. WARNING! Do NOT use this company. Apparently, I made the mistake of not checking out BBB reviews. Our toilet was leaking out of the base, it just needed a new wax seal. The tech told me it was $430 (this included a $59 fee for the call out). I had no idea how ridiculous this fee is and the fact it’s simple enough to do even myself. So I agreed to the fee. Now at this point “live & learn”, I had agreed and they did the work. But here’s the thing….it wasn’t just a really expensive service that I’d regret. No, the condition of the toilet ended up worse than before the charge and resulted in an emergency fix needed! In this case, this is where I have a problem. I called and the lady I spoke with said they can send the same tech out (they’d wave the normally $119 service call fee, oh how sweet) and he would assess and give me an estimate. I told her I felt like the fee charged before was excessive, I don’t feel comfortable working with the same tech, and there’s no way I’m paying more money for something that should have been fine. This was not a complicated repair, he could have only messed this up by absolute neglect. I requested a refund and the lady said she’d send it on to management for approval. I waited and hadn’t heard back so I also sent an email on the request along with a pic to show the toilet was even worse. Another lady called right away and said she’d forward it on to management….again. Then next call, the guy only made excuses that it was under warranty and they fix for free, first off your paperwork says nothing about warranties and second off I was told when I called to get it fixed I’d be charged more. The next excuse was the tech told him there was some hardware that was bent. Really, if that is your excuse why wasn’t it fixed then, also there wasn’t anything bent, the tech broke the securing bolt at the base. This guy told me he could refund $100 but AGAIN would need to get the rest approved with management. At this point, it’s obvious it’s only a runaround. Next day he left a message they’d only do the $100. Worst experience with a company in my life. Unacceptable.

  2. They were prompt in getting me an appointment when my bathroom sink started leaking. Logan and Brad were professional and the service was done quickly. The cost was reasonable. It wasn’t cheap, but it wasn’t over the top. The best part is the customer service- which is amazing. I’ve rarely been so satisfied with a company. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

  3. I’ve used Auchinachie for several years. We’ve had a couple issues but all in all they have solved everything to my satisfaction. I will say the technicians are very good. Always professional, knowledgeable, friendly and ready to please. I don’t agree with the number of support staff that you have to deal with who may not be as knowledgeable and when you are frustrated, you just want answers quickly. Have I spent more than if I pursued other estimates? Probably, but I am on their service plan and when I want something addressed, I do know I get priority service which is just important to me. That’s my 2 cents and I’m sticking with it 🙂

  4. Really great service from Auchinachie. I initially called when my water/sewage pump stopped working. They got somebody over very promptly who replaced the pump and got everything working again, while being very upfront with the cost. After talking about my hard water issues, we got on the topic of water softeners. I had a sales rep come out for a consultation a week later who was very knowledgeable and helpful. I picked a system and the team who arrived to install it was great. The layout of the house made it difficult to set up the system but the team was able to find a solution and get it set up, while still keeping everything clean and tidy looking as well! Very impressed with the service members I’ve dealt with so far (plus they were all very patient with my dogs who were being nosy about the work). They also have an impressive service range, as I’m about an hour and twenty minutes from their home office location.

I was pleasantly surprised when they called me back promptly and took the time to address all of my tenant’s questions. Thanks to their help, I was able to avoid making another trip to the property.     Thankfully I called Joey D. and Anthony at Roto-Rooter out of Olyphant, PA. These guys were simply superb. I wish there were gold stars or something that could convey how excellent they were!!! From their arrival they were friendly, professional and communicative and respectful. Even before they started work, they made sure to have all their paper-work in order so I was in compliance with local/state ordinances, clearly stated their plan of action, and even discussed potential follow ups and strategies to minimize my out of pocket expenses costs. They also fixed my problem in about 30 mins. I had a supposed professional plumber come out the day before Roto-Rooter came out to my newly acquired house in Scranton, PA in response to a backing up sewer line and some possibly related plumbing issues in the house. He trashed the house , mis diagnosed the problem and left me in horror at what was potentially needed. What a difference hiring good people makes! Do yourself a favor and go with Pros. These guys really are pros.

    We got several quotes for a mini-split heat pump with the new cold weather heating capabilities. Sure Temp had a competitive quote while offering the best brand in the industry, Mitsubishi. I had an excellent line of communication with them via e-mail. They had no problems working with our schedule even though the quote was three months apart from the install. The installers were polite, professional, and efficient with their work. They only needed about five hours to complete the install and have the system running. Now, the actual unit we purchased was an 18k BTU/hr Mitsubishi Mini-Split Hyper-Heat. The indoor & outdoor units are silent, even on max cooling. The indoor unit is smaller and less intrusive than we were prepared for which is a huge plus. The only thing we had to change in the settings was to turn off the motion tracking as the little eye made this faint noise that was distracting when it moved and the cooling would cease if we left the room. This unit easily cools our 1250sqft first floor which is all open. Lastly, see the attached pictures for the quality of work.

    The people at Sure Temp are by far the best company that I have had work done by. They installed a duel zone ductless mini split system for me and I am beyond happy with the entire experience. Tom showed up to the estimate appointment early 👍👍. I received the estimate in a timely manner and any questions were immediately answered. Scheduling was quick and much faster than I expected. Installation- these guys should give classes on this. They arrived on time and after ten minutes I was on my way to work. The installation was flawless and I cannot think of anything for them to improve. Coming from someone who has been in the construction industry for years I am pretty picky and can usually find something not quite 100%, but not with these guys. Highly recommended.

    Sure Temp responded quickly for a furnace repair and provided honest information. With that information we decided to have a new furnace installed. They re removed and deposed all of the old furnace parts and installed the new one. Over all pleased with the service and professionalism. Would definitely recommend Sure Temp
