4 months agoTerrible car wash. Spent $20 fir the touchless wash and car was filthy after (see last 2 pictures, same result on other areas of car including windows). Attendant mentioned that machine was having issues the past few days, if so, why keep it open and charge people. He used his card to allow me use the self wash bay for free but since he was finishing his shift, it wasn’t long enough to clean the car. I went back and spent another $16 for the self wash bay and the car still isn’t clean (see first 2 pics), not sure what’s going on here, I followed the procedure outlined in the wash bay and have never had these issues with various washes in Malde and along rout 1 in Sagus/Peabody. So I spent $36 and still have a dirty car2 weeks agoThe touchless wash doesn’t go low enough on the car, doesn’t dry at all and drips some soap down around the car at the end.
The regular car wash used to be good but the final rinse hasn’t worked in probably 6 or 8 months so it leaves you soapy and the coatings don’t get properly rinsed off.
I have the pass and come here frequently so it would be nice if things actually worked at this location.
I suppose I could always drive to Waltham or better yet get a hose and clean my own car.

Vacuum was free which added a plus to the experience.a month agoThis car wash is a rip off. I had dirt on my car after driving through a construction area in a parking garage. The car wash did nothing. Pictures are from after the wash.9 months agoInitially, there seemed to be an issue with the automated purchase machine. It didn’t recognize I was parked in front of it and ready to pay. It kept telling me to pull forward until I ended up losing my place and had to go around the block. When I did get it to work, I chose the $27.00 “Diamond” service and found the service was very disappointing. My car was no cleaner when I left than when I arrived. Watermarks and streaks everywhere. I ended up washing my car by hand when I got home. Which I will do in the future rather than spend my hard earned money and gas to repeat this experience. Very disappointing. One star is generous.

a week agoGot the diamond wash ($30), the wash ended up breaking the antenna on my car (not a long antenna and I drive a subcompact SUV, so not a tall car either). I came back an hour later after I noticed the antenna had broken off, they said that they looked for it but couldn’t find it, and asked for my contact information to let me know if they find it in ~30 minutes after checking the cameras. A couple hours go by and I try calling them multiple times with no response. Not necessarily their fault that the wash broke my antenna, and I now have to buy a new one, but they really could have handled the situation better.a month agoScam

In the self serve section, I just brushed my car and sprayed it for 11 minutes, then saw a charge of $17.50 on my card
There’s no sign that says it will be seven dollars for every four minutes.

Not only that, if you change the dial to “stop” that’s still not enough to get it to stop charging your card. There’s tiny button you also have to push
a week ago7 dollars for 4 minutes, 4 minutes is just one setting out of how many? 15 minutes and than the machine maxes out which it does not tell you, and charges you 25 dollars for 15 minutes because you do not hit the stop button. I have been charged over 500 in these fees between the somerville, and capecod location over a year and just finding out bank has given me my money back. I’ll keep going for the free vacums though since they are the only good ones in Somerville, Somerville No Touch Car Wash you grt more time at the bays that actually spray soap, amd the car wash is touchless so it will not damage your car.I’d give no stars but that is not an option.
2 months agoPlace is a scam, they did a brother wrong. Says 7 dollars for a self-car wash, but doesn’t say how long. They charged me 10 dollars on my card at the scene. And then charged me 50 dollars when I get home. I’ve been here three times, and I got charged 150 dollars in total for 3 car washes. When I realized, I realized I’m never going back. That is absolutely ridiculous for some DIY spray and wash. They way they do business is called SCAMMING PEOPLE, and they are the type of people ruining this great city of Boston.a week agoGreat Friendly Service Affordable monthly unlimited membership $19.99 wash your car every day first month 1 penny this is a great deal. !!!

Free vacuums are nice, however the car wash itself sucks. Waste of money. $30 wash ended up sealing all the dirt to my car & now it won’t rub out after I went home and now have to wash it myself. Created more work than it fixed for me. Paid for the undercarriage cleaning & it’s apparent nothing was even sprayed under my car. The guy taking care of the front-end service couldn’t even understand me when I was trying to explain my car was still dirty so I just gave up. Wash your car yourself if you can seriously.
Alex on Washington Street in Quincy is nothing short of phenomenal. He is always pleasant and gets vehicles in in a timely manner, even when signing others up. Prestige Car Wash is fantastic for your vehicular cleanliness needs. And did I mention free vacuums?

But their customer service at the HQ is amazing.

Hard to find a good car wash tunnel, but this place is good enough. I needed an undercarriage wash because they salt the roads here. They tried really hard to sell me a subscription, to the point where it started to get a tiny bit obnoxious (they were nice about it though), but I hesitated because I’m not sure how hard it is to cancel.
