What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. These apartments should be stripped and rebuilt with up to date appliances, windows and carpet also counter tops. Inside my friends apt there his one bedroom might as well be a sardine can with a few windows. Honestly, this is where alot of senior citizens live because there not rich, me personally, I would rather live in a Colman family tent then pay to live here. Actually a great place to put your mother in law at, l.

  2. This place has liers that stick together in there own click administration only believes what the click states trying to talk with most be like talking to wall there is no security they have bigger size men riding on gas powered bikes with no security license only the Mexicans have no.problems here it is a semi racial environment administration has its favorites there is no type of freedom. Living here yes has some problems here no legally legal from me at all but the try to unforced some non legal suggestions I wonder about there immigration status many non illegal here some have try to be fair with me but not to many their is lots more but we don’t have enough space for writing when their are no problems people here are bored enough so they will gossip just to create problems auhhh yes not to mention the critters roaches I door outdoor and some mice and wild ferral cats having kittens everywhere they refuse to do anything bout situations

  3. Noticed that it’s not a gated community safety reasons Gates were not locked locks were broken on the gates

  4. This is the worst place ever. They have maintenance guys who threaten guests tows cars threaten to use bullets to end the guests life evicts tenants when they were no way involved and it was the maintenance men who caused the issues they administration is all aware but sweeps it under the rug. moved out completely clean move in ready it’s been 4 months and we’re still waiting for the deposit back. Like the rest of the reviews that whole place is a scam and is not safe at all. Not clean it was dirty when we moved in and spotless when we moved out it’s excuse after excuse after excuse on why we haven’t received the deposit back. They are money hungry they move people in as fast as they kick them out the more people in the apts the more money they collect. DON’T LIVE HERE

Fair winds is such a beautiful community. Everyone is so friendly Sabrina and her team are awesome. They truly go above and beyond to make this tough decision into a smooth easy Transition. The prime fit exercise is amazing and seems to be a big hit such a wonderful way to keep everyone active. Highly recommend !

I moved my 83 year-old mother into Fairwinds a month ago, but I have been working with the staff for about one year… Crystal Ramos is a saint and I don’t know what I would’ve done without her. Throughout the year I was trying to encourage my mom to move there, Crystal spent DOZENS of hours visiting my mom in her home, picking her up and bringing her to Fairwinds so my mom could participate in the activities, taking sometimes 10 to 15 calls from my mother daily (she would forget that she had already called), helping me fill out paperwork for various apartments (my mom kept changing her mind at the last minute), etc., etc., etc. Crystal has the patience of a Saint and I know she treats my mother beautifully when I’m not around because my mother adores her (not an easy thing to accomplish with my mom). My mom has TBI-induced cognitive issues that make her prone to bouts of paranoia and greatly impair her short term memory; Crystal and the rest of the staff at Fairwinds make her feel safe, loved and valued. My mother is VERY difficult to please (she was stingy with compliments even before her accident), but all I hear her say is how kind everyone is to her and how loved she feels –she doesn’t say ‘most of the staff is kind’ … she says ‘everyone is so kind to me” — WOW. Before moving my mom in, I was working with a local caregiving organization and my mother went through 11 different caregivers; she didn’t trust them and would complain that they were ‘mean’ to her. So I never imagined I could find a place where my mom loves all the staff. I am just floored and forever grateful. For example, Cheryl — who teaches exercise/balance classes and cooking classes — has a wealth of knowledge about the brain and cognitive issues; she is not only sweet and patient with my mom, she understands what her brain needs to heal and told us about a free brain-training website that will stimulate my mom’s cognitive processes (it’s fabulous and it’s free to Fairwinds residents). When my mom snaps at Cheryl, she understands why and knows exactly how to diffuse my mom’s grouchiness and make her feel loved. The premises are clean, happy, bright, and festive. When you walk into the lobby, fun music is often playing and residents are sitting around playing cards or chatting. That was important to me because I visited a couple other places that were lovely, but the lobby areas were empty and sadness prevailed.

The team at Fairwinds has such a heart for seniors and their families. I have worked in the industry for many years and truly see the five star level of care, compassion and fun they have at their community! I would highly recommend Fairwinds for your family member or if your looking for a place to enjoy people and have fun!

My mom moved into Fairwinds in January, 2023. Everything has been wonderful. She is really enjoying her studio apartment. She is 97 years old. She loves the activities offered like Line Dancing, Stretching Classes, and Spanish Class. They are on top of her health issues and notify her doctor and myself when she needs attention.

Fairwinds recently offered to serve as the lunch caterer for a large Education Summit & Senior Resource Fair hosted by the NorthPointe Community Church Elder Care Ministry on 5/06/23 on the church campus. To say that they stole the show would be an understatement! The food was more than abundant, the flavors were savory, and the service was joyful and efficient for the 250 people who were gathered to attend the conference and manage the resource booths. The team fashioned a summer kick-off menu of on-the-spot BBQ’d tri-tip, the best macaroni salad ever, the best-tasting baked beans ever, a fresh dinner roll, a spinach salad blend with dried cranberries in a light dressing, and a large piece of summer watermelon for each of our conference guests. They were prepared with a production line before they even arrived at the conference prep kitchen, readied all the meals, and had them served to our guests in less than 10 minutes! We can’t say enough about how grateful we are for their dedication, joy, and “all-in” serving hearts! We want to move in with them!! THANK YOU FAIRWINDS – WOODWARD PARK!!!

We’ve toured 4 places in Fresno and found Pacifica to be the best fit for our mother. Jacqueline has been very accommodating, so kind and extremely patient and positive. Never pushy, taking all the time we need, showing us all the amenities. Our mother likes The water aerobics, and is interested in the gym that also comes with an instructor. Our 1st visit was scheduled @ lunch time, serving us a meal in a private dining room, and their meal choices are great! Any resident can reserve this private dinning room any time if they want to plan their own family gathering. Happy hour every day, and we noticed they were NOT serving cheep wines! Jacqueline is just a phone call or a text away. She has been very supportive and extremely kind. She listens and is able to help. When our mother ended up in the hospital for 3 days, she opened her heart and assisted me with options and emotional support, just as a close friend would have. Our active 92 year old mother is not there yet, but we will get her an apartment when she’s ready, hopefully soon as we need the piece of mind that Pacific offers and she most definitely needs the watchful eye that Pacifica offers. Very clean, modern with NO funky smells, very nice rooms offered from Sr living to multi levels of Assisted Living. Mom can even bring her dear kitties, and her own car. Again, we love Pacific!

My mother has been a resident at Pacifica for almost 8 months. We have been so pleased with the care she has received from the moment she arrived. Even as her physical needs have changed, Pacifica staff have been helpful, kind and supportive to her and our family. The food is delicious, the setting is beautiful and the staff are amazing. Pacifica is like no other place I’ve visited before. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I highly recommend Pacifica Senior Living Fresno!

Jackie at Pacifica has been such an advocate for my mother-in-law. She has helped us every step of the way. She is such a positive light for all and she knows everyone by name. Every time my daughter, granddaughter and I come, we have encountered happy residents with fun activities and socializing going on, which means the world to us!

I just wanted to share that even though Pacifica was not our first choice for my grandparents to reside when the time comes, that the service I received from Jacquelyn and the time taken in the phone call was fantastic. This is never an easy decision to make and the patience and care that was taken to put me at ease and in answering all my questions was extraordinary !!! Pacifica Owners you’ve done a great thing in hiring Jacquelyn 🙂

When it was time to have my grandmother move into Assisted Living, I looked to Pacifica (formerly Atria) because of their Care Staff and Nurses. My wife’s grandmother lived there, and they did a wonderful job for her; I knew my grandmother would be cared for with a high level of compassion and grace, so that is why we moved her there. Now that she is there, I see the same excellent care, and she is thriving. The Care Staff and Nurses are genuinely kind and thoughtful. They make sure she is living the best life that she can at this stage which is terrific. My grandmother loves the food and likes the apartment. Overall, it is a wonderful place to have a loved one, and I know my grandmother is getting the care that she needs from amazing people. It has been life-giving for me to have her live there because I know she is cared for, and when I spend time with her, it is quality time.
