What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Very elegant place for a date night. There is valet but we took a Lyft. The ambiance is mellow and the music is upbeat. We went on a Friday night around 830pm. It was pretty popular that night. We started with drinks, wine and their version of an old fashioned. The French onion soup was soooo good and not shy on the cheese. The Caesar salad was great. The sardines were a nice touch but I typically like mine minced and mixed in the dressing. The entrees came out at a very decent time and by this time we were stuffed. But not too stuffed for some delicious desserts. Would definitely love to visit again. I like how the restrooms are single and very spacious. The staff was helpful, quick and kind.

  2. One of the best restaurants in Atlanta. I was so delighted to eat here. The muscles and broth were fantastic and the scallop dinner that was recommended by my waiter was divine.
Coming from Boston, the best food city, this restaurant gives those restaurants a run for its money.

It’s busy, yes, but that shows the food is fantastic. My waiter was pulling a double working two sections, but he checked on me to make sure my dinner was good. Even the manager was helping and has great conversation.

    10/10 will go again.

  3. I am from Louisiana and wanted to eat at an elegant French restaurant. We parked are truck in a safe parking garage within walking distance. This is not a casual restaurant. Time to get dressed in your hottest outfit. Tonight, is a night to fix your hair and show off those nails. The service here was wonderful. I mean the hardest workers. The bar keep made perfect signature cocktails quickly. The kitchen staff is on fire. A+ 10 Stars. I mean look at my photos! I could not have had a better night.

  4. Come here for incredible food, service and atmosphere!! Happened to be here in December – the Christmas decorations were phenomenal!! Great wine selection and excellent mixed drinks – do not miss this little gem in Atlanta for a romantic dinner for two! Ribeye steak was melt in your mouth and the sea bass was perfectly prepared! Butternut squash soup was a great appetizer! We will be back!

  5. My girlfriends and I decided to do a Christmas gift exchange at Bistro Niko. Classic French style food in the heart of Buckhead. It was perfect and so festive for the Christmas Cheer. I did valet parking, but there is also self parking there.

We order their Christmas theme cocktails, which did not disappoint. I had the spinach Florentine Quiche with a side salad. Wooo it was wonderful! Perfect portion for me. Keep in mind they are not American sized portions.

My other two friends, got the Eggs Benedict and the Pan Roasted Breast of Duck and both of them finish their whole meal too. We had a room. We would’ve ordered dessert but we did not. All of us would definitely go back there to try the rest of the menu.

We went on a Sunday afternoon around 3 pm had less than a 15 minute wait. The hostess was smiling and greeted us immediately upon entry. We sat outside as the weather was perfect. I ordered the Grit Stack served with shrimp and your choice of meat. The grits were so smooth and creamy. I got mines with vegan sausage and everything was on point. Whatever the jam is made out of its so fresh and sweet, you definitely better spread your toast with it… My daughter got the Kirkwood with bacon. Her eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon was super crispy.. All the beverages are $4 or more so expect to pay around $25 per person including drink. Food took less then 1O minutes to prepare. It was busy but not super crowded. Going back to try the Vanilla Rum French toast!! Plus our waiter was so attentive and provided excellent service. The experience was worth the price$$

OMG!!! Ms. Gwen was our AWESOME server and she truly took care of us. We had a party of 23 and she was a gem. We are a loud bunch and she was fabulous. We truly enjoyed ourselves because she helped make our experience remarkable. The meals were pricey but we didn’t mind because of Ms. Gwen. Oh, the food, 🤭 we all had different dishes but truly enjoyed everything even the kids. Many of the dishes we had never even heard of but we tried them and enjoyed it all. Thanks to Ms. Gwen and all the staff at Le Petit Marche this graduation weekend was wonderful. Be sure to stop by if you’re visiting the area but ask for Ms. Gwen to be your server if you want to be treated like family.😘

We just had lunch here today and it was excellent. We started with the benigeits and all ordered blackberry mimosas. Both were very good. I had the gumbo and it was great. I loved that it had fried shrimp in addition to the seafood in the gumbo. The staff was super friendly and we will definitely be back.

2.8 | This place has been taken over by new ownership as I’m sure many know. I didn’t have the pleasure of visiting before they were purchased, but apparently they were bought by Atlanta Breakfast Club. Friends who I ate with during this visit remember the version of Le Petit Marche fondly. However, much like some of the reviews indicate, the affordability factor has shifted. Water is $6, mimosas are $13 [and apparently a small quantity], and the food is quite overpriced like $7 for a small fruit bowl, etc. I am not sure what they are going for, but it just feels like a regular brunch spot, with average food, wanting to go for a more lux upscale feel. I don’t think the food is bad, but the french toast dish I ordered was simply just okay. I would have wanted more consideration for the egg and bacon addition to the french toast. While the french toast itself was excellent, it had a nice maple rum glaze, the eggs was over cooked, the bacon as well, and the over meal was quite dry and lacking in complexity. The portion for the seafood gumbo was quite small, and I think the overall options felt very average and not quite New Orleans. I don’t think I would write home about this place, but to be honest, I think the $6 waters threw us off from the beginning, and it was in a state of comparison from that point on. I don’t think you’d necessarily regret eating here, I just think it’s not very memorable and the branding / audience it’s marketing to feels a bit confusing.

Such a beautiful, quaint brunch spot! Definitely higher prices than I expected but worth it in my opinion. I loved everything but especially love the confit chicken biscuit, beignets, and the seasonal mimosas (which are incredibly strong so it’s worth the price). The staff is lovely and they have efficient and friendly service.

Absolutely wonderful! The service from the front of the house to our servers was top notch. We felt welcomed, and loved the recommendations we were given. The food was exceptional!! The beef Wellington was cooked to medium rare and had an excellent flavor. The escargot blew my mind. I thought it would be tough and unpleasant, but I was absolutely wrong. It was tender and delicious. We also had the baked Alaska which was incredible. So happy that my husband and I got to celebrate my graduation from my master’s degree early this month.

Fantastic evening, the ambiance is amazing, dim lights, cozy seating and you can hold a conversation. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everyone was so nice. The bread was so good! It was delicious. All of the food was really good and the drinks were tasty. I would definitely come back and try some other dishes.

Incredible experience all around! We made a reservation about a month in advance and were seated immediately upon arrival. It has a really cool atmosphere almost like a speakeasy. Our waiters were very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and were happy to explain anything and make recommendations. The food, while expensive, was absolutely worth it. We ordered the Marcel oysters and salad to start out. I normally prefer raw oysters, but these had an amazing flavor and consistency to them. We had the Porterhouse for two as an entree, and oh my gosh. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was by far the best steak I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a nice restaurant for a special occasion, this is definitely the place to come!

Why did we wait so long to go to Marcel? Absolutely amazing meal. Fantastic staff. Great atmosphere. We didn’t make reservations so we did ah ce to wait about an hour in order to get a seat at the bar. The wait staff at the bar were incredible-super friendly and knowledgeable. They even had our favorite gin in the whole world from a tiny little island in Scotland. The burger was delicious. HUGE and very rich. Definitely need to eat it with a fork. The steak was also grilled to perfection. Don’t skip out on dessert or the bone marrow-you’ll leave stuffed but be glad you did.

They made my anniversary one to remember for a lifetime. The service here is out of this world. I’ve never been anywhere like this where they care so much about you and want you to have the best experience. Now the food, wow! I’ve never had a Beef Wellington before and this is the greatest thing I’ve ever tasted. The bread service is outstanding. The lobster risotto was cooked perfectly and the lobster was juicy and flavorful, felt like I was in Maine again. If you’re ever craving steak tartare, this is the place to go. I’ve been wanting to find it everywhere and every bite here was majestic. Marcel is one experience I can always recommend and want to experience again soon.
