What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. There was a 30 minute wait but it moved relatively quickly (you could enjoy an adult bev. from the bar while you waited). Our server Connor was excellent even while covering a lot of tables simultaneously so kudos to him because we never felt neglected. I had the grilled Captains Platter (salad w/added avocado & they had French dressing on hand which never happens) The flounder & shrimp were great the scallops were ok. the fried jumbo shrimp platter someone else ordered was awesome. Another person in our party ordered veal Parmigiano & the veal was overcooked but the pasta portion was great. oh & if you order asparagus just know its not spears & resembles chopped green beans. We had a Paloma & rock Lobster for drinks (weren’t fans of either).Loved that the got the whole restaurant involved to celebrate patrons birthdays. all in all we’d definitely eat here again.

  2. Enjoyable experience. Our waiter David was great! My steak was cooked just like I like it and full of flavor, the cream of mushroom soup was terrific, and the fries were good. Hubby’s ribs were enormous and so tasty; his mashed potatoes were yummy and the first were good. Definitely an excellent all-around experience.

  3. This place was full but and after finishing our meals we understood why! Wait was about 20 minutes so not bad. Service was fantastic and the place itself was inviting. The food was fantastic. One of my buddies had just had seafood at a different place and he said his meal her was 5 times better, very scientific! Another said this was the best t-bone he ever had. My ribeye was delicious! Refills kept coming and overall great food, great times and for sure 5 stars!

  4. My wife and I absolutely loved this place. It does get busy but for a party of 3 you get seated fairly quickly. I got the seafood platter and she got the 8oz New York Strip and she said it even beats Texas Roadhouse since its seasoned way better and its very fresh. The fish I received tasted so fresh I felt like they sent a fisherman out to catch my fish while I waited, it was so good and flaky 😋 U & I keep doing what you are doing everything is delicious…

  5. The staff were great. Tim was our waiter and he seemed so knowledgeable about the entire menu, restaurants history and was completely engaged the entire time to ensure we were satisfied. Honestly, I could not believe the quality of food. Totally unexpected and especially for the price range. the blue cheese steak was absolutely phenomenal. Probably one of the best I’ve ever had and that’s in comparison to the 300 and $500 restaurants. the bread was exceptional the salad and the salad dressing of blue cheese was again one of the best I’ve ever tasted. and then if that’s not enough, the poor dessert. The cheesecake made in house with the raspberry sauce, was an absolute delight. Will definitely recommend my family and friends try this place out

Ive been here a few times and it’s been good every time. They have a really good Caesar salad but I do not recommend the macaroni and cheese as the side. The sauce on the calamari absolutely slapped, it was amazing. I would get it it for the sauce itself.

showed up and was told I would have a 35 to 45 minute wait… despite the restaurant being at about 15%… no worries. Wasn’t in a hurry. Enjoyed visiting with my company outside. Was quickly seated and noticed virtually the entire half of the building was empty. I don’t know how this restaurant can smell so good from the outside yet serve the most bland boring food I’ve ever eaten. Appetizers were incredibly disappointing. Caesar salad was good, lettuce was nowhere near crisp but what do you expect for 9:00 PM on a Tuesday. Ribeye tasted like it was cooked on an electric stove element with a splash of liquid smoke. The parts that didn’t taste like crunchy black char… had an acrid artificial smoke flavor. Waitress and trainee poured a beer at our table and overflowed it. Let beer pour down the table on one of the chairs and then onto the floor… And left it there. Stop coming here over 10 years ago because they couldn’t cook a steak. I see nothing has changed.

We went to celebrate our son’s birthday. He wanted to enjoy a good steak, which he stated it was great tasting. The food was not spectacular but good. I thought or perceived this place was going to be expensive but it has decent prices. The service is mediocre, the waiters more attentive to other tables. He forgot our salad, we had to ask for it. No pictures of food were taken except for the key lime pie.

We started with the fried mushrooms with your choice of dip. The mushrooms were delicious. We had the 20oz T-bone, with a salad and loaded baked potato. The steak was tasty, but a little bit to salty. Potato was delicious, and salad was good. The meal came with a loaf of bread, it was kinda dry, but tasty. They have a full bar with several TVs hung up on the wall, playing sports. They have a different bar drink special every night. It has a large very dining room that is clean and enjoyable. Our server very friendly, and professional.

The atmosphere was nice, the service solid(a little slow at times). The appetizers were great we had the crab stack at the potato boats. My wife’s chicken was excellent.. my steak was undercooked (as seen in the photo. I requested medium which we all know is a warm pink center. The was rare-medium rare at best.. this being my birthday dinner decision and know how they would just throw it back in the fire for a few minutes I just bit my tongue and ate the steak.. I will say the flavor and seasoning were excellent, the consistency is what was lacking to my preference

We’re new residents to Corpus and I wanted to try an all you can eat Sunday brunch. One stop at Glass Pavilion and we had a change of heart and plans. We navigated here and so glad we did. The service was great from the beginning. We ordered our food and even though there was a little wait. It was well worth it! From the omelette, or the tomato basil soup with cheese grilled sandwich to the lamb chops and home fries potatoes 🥔. The ONLY downside was the cramped seating. I was worried about knocking people in the isle with my elbow and then not elbowing my wife on the other side. Slow go as we ate. In conclusion, the breakfast was great for all at our table. Can’t wait to come back for a good lunch. I highly recommend stopping in and trying out their breakfast, lunch or dinner. Menu is pretty awesome.

This place has delicious food and outstanding customer service. Best part is they have vegan options that are really good. The portions are appropriate for the cost and the presentation of the food is top tier. My children raved about the service and the food and trust me they will let me know when they don’t like something. The vibe is family friendly and very loving. I was very pleased from the front door greeting to my parting good bye. Our hostess Mechele made us feel like we were her only table although we were not. I will definitely return and I definitely recommend.

The best experience we’ve had since moving to Texas! Would recommend to anyone looking for good food, attentive staff and a super awesome/nice chef. Once seated we were greeted by the chef with a sample of banana and Bavarian creme waffles; yum! Then was nice enough to share a slice of their homemade bread, on the house, with my husband who is a connisseur of bread 😋 servings are huge so I may have ordered a half order if possible of the chicken and waffles. Overall great experience!

We used their online service to make a reservation and it was great. We barely had to wait at all on a busy Sunday. Fantastic service/wait staff made our experience. Mimosa was yummy. Their brunch menu was one of the best I’ve ever seen. Everything was flavorful and cooked to perfection. I had the lamb omelette, and it was the BEST lamb I’ve ever eaten… so tender. The banana pancakes were divine. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and we will definitely be back.

I say, make sure you join the wait-list on Google maps, although I believe it didn’t make much of a difference in the wait time. Be prepared to wait. With that said… It’s worth it! The food was delicious and the presentation was very nice. I order the Herder burger and it was so good. My hubby ordered an omelette with duck bacon and he really enjoyed it. We were looking for a brunch place before driving 2 hours back home after visiting Corpus Christi, and this restaurant did not disappoint. The manager walks and makes you feel at home. He even brought us s free little dessert that was very tasty. Will definitely be back if we’re in this city again. PLUS: they have plenty of gluten free options
