I have not ever been welcomed as a gym visitor such manner than Rhalan Gracie did.. in addition this place has only kind hearted bjj practitioners and fun to roll with. Learned a couple of excellent techniques I’ll be taking home with me and the place is full of purple, brown and black belts so I got some very productive rolls in. The training is serious but Jake is incredibly knowledgeable and the higher belts are eager to help new folks. The community was so welcoming and friendly, and I love getting to train and roll with other women. The instruction is thoughtful, detail oriented, and builds on basic principles of movement. It has really helped me refine how I train and learn concepts. Each class includes plenty of time to drill and roll. The schedule has plenty of classes so it is easy to pop in throughout the week. I can’t say enough good things about OMA. From the instructors competency to the mission of OMA itself, this is a bright spot in so many lives. They truly want every student to succeed and do their best to help not only with the physical aspect, but with the important life lessons along the way that are essential to understand in order to live your best life. All of this, but at the same time they maintain high standards – so important in an age where everyone gets a trophy and so often the hard work and disappointment are overlooked or brushed aside.
Over the years, as I was observing the class and overhearing what the instructors were saying I wanted to jump up and cheer. They ask: What does it mean to be responsible? What does it mean to have discipline? How can you show your family that you appreciate what they do for you?
I have come to see OMA as a partner on my son’s path to achieve everything he is able to achieve.
Our daughter loves One Martial Arts. The teachers promote lots of wholesome lessons about subjects like respect, courtesy, and family as a part of each karate lesson. Even in middle school our child has appreciated the positivity and routine. The recent renovation has also opened up the space s lot and created a bright and welcoming environment. We highly recommend this martial arts studio.
My 4 year old son started coming to One Martial Arts about a month ago. I love the lessons. the sensai incorporates fantastic family values into the lesson plan. The lessons help the kids learn to be great kids and for the parents to learn to be great parents as well. Highly recommend!
My son loves his time at One Martial. He has learned some good discipline and confidence through this program.
We started our girls during the pandemic (3yr & 7yrs) and we are going on two years now. They love it and have grown to embrace the challenges, love to practice, have made friends and has helped with their confidence. It’s a great place to build on community and everyone there is very friendly and really invested in the kids success.
