The front desk receptionist seemed reluctant to answer any more than 2 questions. From the getgo, the MA focused on pushing skin care products the whole time rather than assess my visit intent. Subsequently, when Dr. Welsh came in, she really did not spend much time asking which areas I intended to plan on having improved upon. Maybe she thought the MA already elicited the data? Given the above, the 2 usual trouble areas that usually gets the procedure got left out. Then one of the newer procedure went awry and I was supposed to follow the area carefully so it won’t form a blister, otherwise I will have to return to get it fixed. I had to ask for new ice bags for the pain as no refills were offered. Finally, the billing needed to be adjusted several times as a few major miscalculations happened, luckily spotted by the MA (I don’t really know who is counting / tallying what/how much products were used during the procedure). They were cleaning the room before I was ready to go. Had to dispute with credit card to get money back (for the second time). Update #2: They just called again trying to recharge the same amount of $101.13. Rosie was amazing! She was very informative and super understanding that it was my first time and I had lots of questions. The front desk staff was nice with the exception of one of the ladies that wasn’t too friendly which is why I removed one star. But looking forward to my next visit and hopefully I can give 5 stars.
The gals doing laser are always really kind and easy to talk to.
The permanent part of laser hair removal treatment didn’t work for me. I’ve got 12 session for upper lip so far. This slows growth for about 30 days and then it’s back to normal: same thickness, amount, color, etc. fyi, they obviously will say “this always depends on the person” but I’ve called a few other laser hair removal places in the area and Sev is known for offering lower prices but no permanent results. You should definitely try it since it’s true that everyone is different.
One more thing: at $20 for upper lip, it was still convenient for me to keep going. It offered me almost a 30 days of slow hair growth. That’s better than other hair removal options. Yet, it’s not permanent.
Dipping my toes into laser hair removal. Have had two sessions and all has gone smoothly so far. Already saw reduction in hair after the first session! They’ve been great about rescheduling as well (I had to move my first session after finding out I had Covid that same morning!), easy to do even over text.
I just had my first session at SEV laser with Chelsea and it was fantastic!! From booking, check in to the actual session – every person I’ve interacted with at SEV has been so kind and patient. Chelsea is great! I didn’t feel any pain during my session. Excited for my next session already. 🙂
5 star for the nurse, 1 star for the front desk!
It’s my first time getting treatment at SEV, the nurse is amazing, very professional, and patient in answering all my questions. But the person who works at the front desk has a horrible attitude, she let me feel I shouldn’t ask that much, I heard it’s really hard to reach out front desk to reschedule an appointment, turns out it’s true! She is rude and impatient! Talking to her let me feel really uncomfortable!
