Signed my son up about 2 weeks ago only and I can already see the confidence boost he got and the excitement for his classes. Respect and discipline is taught and everyone is friendly!   2. We love Team Link!! My son started almost 5 years ago. My daughter joined almost 2 years ago. The coaches are very welcoming like family. The kids learn so much from the coaches. Not only the skills of Muay Thai but most importantly, respect, and confidence.
    The times of classes are consistent. I always highly recommend Team Link.

  3. Absolutely love Team Link! I started a bit over a month ago and from day 1 you feel like family here. They start you off with a 1 on 1 session, and don’t just throw you into class. The trainers and other members are all incredibly welcoming and sincerely want you to get better. After a few sessions I was invited to clinch; with 0 experience Coach Soto showed me the ropes and I was able to begin sparring with other members of the gym.

    You also can do your first three classes for only $20! Absolutely worth trying.

    Super excited to continue training here!

  4. I love this place best decision ever! I do the fitness kickboxing program. After 4 months I feel stronger that ever! Coach Soto and Coach Brian are the best. Very family oriented business everyone make you feel welcoming. My son does Muay Thai and also kickboxing he loves it. He wants to go there everyday.

  5. Most fun I’ve ever had working out or learning a new skill. Everyone there is super cool and the coaches are completely professional. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. I started here about 5 or 6 months ago with no prior experience and it’s been a blast learning from day one. Can’t say enough good things about the gym, and the people who work here.

    My son and daughter attend Life Skill MA. They learn practical self defense that can be used in real life scenario’s along with learning social and emotional skills. You can tell that the instructors are trying their best day in and out at a very consistent level. They offer a lot of classes through out the week at multiple times which is very convenient for busy families. If ever a billing issue occurs, they quickly resolve it. I would definitely say that it’s worth checking out their after school program and summer programs as well, they are competitively priced.

    My son joined LifeSkills a few months ago and has gained so much confidence in such a short time. Not only do they teach the kids self defense techniques but they teach them about manners, respect, kindness and loyalty. Their leadership class encourages more socialization and confidence in public speaking. I am thrilled with everything I have seen so far, and rave about LifeSkills to everyone I know!

    After a trial class with Fred Basantes’ son, Owen, I enrolled my 4 year old January 1, 2023. Throughout January, I took him twice a week, despite his unwillingness to go, and got on mat with instructors to encourage him. I thought he may be too young, but gave him time. In February, we were out of town for a week, he was sick for a week, and the two weeks we were able to go, he watched from my lap on the chair. He refused to go on the mat, and refused to participate a single time entire month. I paid throughout February despite that. In March, Fred asked me to bring him in for a 15 min private class with his son Owen. Owen sat in chair next to us and talked to my son, but again, my son refused to engage or go on mat. I asked Fred to show me how to cancel. He gave me a card with a barcode. I scanned it, went back inside and reconfirmed I was sending email correctly. Yet they still to this day (this morning) are charging me for lessons my son has never received and will never receive. If I could go back, I would not have attended the trial or enrolled him here. Writing review to ensure nobody else is unwittingly charged for lessons / services not received. Update: It is now May 2023, my son has not participated in a lesson since January 2023, and charges keep reappearing every month. 3 months of recurring charges after ending classes.

    I have been bringing my granddaughter to Life Skills Martial Arts for several year. In this time she has grown as a person so much. At the age of 9 years old she has developed such a strong self-esteem, respect and dedication to both herself and others. 9 years of and very petite she has no problem speaking up to bullies for not only herself but her friends and family as well. She has learned commitment and dedication and how this enhances her life, she shows up early to practice and learn extra, she completes her homework from school without being reminded, and she respects others. I personally have learned a lot from taking her to Life Skills Martial Arts. To me Life Skills Martial Arts is not just a school it is a “Family” a way of life and a very important part of the village it takes to raise a wonderful child. Yes as you can see I can’t say enough about the owner or staff. For your child’s sake please stop in and check out this family lifestyle, you will not be disappointed.     I started training at Worcester MMA just over 2 years ago now. The coaching staff is wise, engaged and committed. The fundamentals program is an excellent way to get started. Their kids program looks awesome as well, my little ones will be enrolled once they are old enough for sure! BJJ has the potential to have some unbelievable positive effects on your life, and the academy you align with will have a lot to do with that. I am very lucky to be teamed up with Worcester MMA….     Love Worcester MMA! The training, the high-level and detailed coaching, and teammates make this place incredible! The pedigree and lineage (Renzo Gracie/ Matt Serra) under Dan Simmler, and now team of coaches make this place second to none here in New England. I’ve been training here since 2008 and now my kids also are training here with the kids team and love it! Highly recommend WMMA!!

    Signing up is the hardest step of your Jiu-jitsu career. As a 50 year old woman it was very intimidating. I’ve had days of both difficult and exciting moments. Everyone at the academy says, “Keep showing up”, so I do. “Your body will start to remember the technique “, and it does! The coaches LOVE to teach. They want you to succeed. They are approachable, knowledgeable are always available for questions (and dont mind repeating the same technique a million times during class 😄) I have met and trained with the most extraordinary men and women. Abusado Team has changed my life. These people are not only teammates but FAMILY. Forever Grateful. OSS
