  1. Best groomer I have ever taken my dog. Leo always comes back looking so fluffy and even he is smiling and proud of himself. I will never go to any other groomer again. To make it even better they have the best staff I have ever dealt with!! A+ to Fruitville Pike Lancaster, PA PetSmart grooming team and associates!!

  2. My son loves coming here to see the dogs and cats and other animals. The store was clean and the staff was friendly. Sadly, they did not have small fish filters and I had to go to That Fish Place who had them…$4 for 4 Filters. Also, the cat food price went up at Pets Mart and That Fish Place by almost $10…while Giant did not. So will be getting cat food at Giant.

  3. This is a large location with a wide variety of products and brands to choose from. Renee in the grooming department did an excellent job with my 2 golden doodles.

  4. Employees always greet me in the store! Their floors and builois really clean, for being a pet store. Love seeing all of the animals come in! Nice atmosphere. We take our dog Roxy to the Pet hotel and she loves it there. We know she is in excellent hands when we go away!

  5. I’ve been taking my pup to various groomers over the years and by far she turned out the cutest after a session with Renee. Highly recommend this site for grooming and will be going back to the next time we’re in town. Thank you!

The rescued cat around here doesn’t like other cats; this new one had a month to wait. They fixed, w/ shots. Said they’d try every avenue possible for a home. But was skittish. I couldn’t screen adopters. The 2 had one last big fight now it’s rather peaceful. (So, neither circus!) Trust–even if it seems come-and-go; they know what they’re doing here. I hope the new spay/neuter clinic goes as well as Pet Pantry. Pet rescuers need all the help they can muster.

My boyfriend and I adopted Lil corn 🌽 shown here. The staff is very kind friendly and caring. All concerns and questions addressed. Visiting with corn was very comfortable and we fell in love right away. Highly recommend Lancaster humane league to adopt your next furry pet 🐾 ❤

My husband Jonathan and I adopted almost 2-yr-old Santiago at the Humane League. We love him so much! All the staff were helpful, sharing information about each cat that we were considering. The paperwork was clear and we enjoyed the process of the adoption. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a new pet!

Our family has adopted from the Lancaster Humane League in the past and have always had a beautiful experience. This time, not so much. We inquired about an adoptable dog on Monday, and when we went for the meet and greet on Friday, we were told she was on ‘hold’. From our past experiences, we never knew a ‘hold’ existed- it was always first come first serve. Mind you, a ‘hold’ is not advertised on their website. While in communication throughout the week, this ‘hold’ was never spoken of. We were told she was placed on hold due to a ‘compelling story’.. everyone can have a ‘compelling story’. And what deems that more imperative then ‘our story’? I suggest that this ‘hold’ should be advertised to the general public. It’s a shame to have a adoptable dog wait an entire week for someone who may or may not show.. when she could have been adopted days prior and living a wonderful life outside of the kennel. The Humane League is supposed to serve the animals, not the people.

We have adopted from Pet Pantry twice. This is a wonderful organization committed to serving the community, matching people and pets, including spaying, neutering and vaccination clinics. This nonprofit accepts donations of pet supplies and food. Pet Pantry provides volunteer opportunities for adults and students. If you are looking for a cat or dog, looking for an organization to support, want to foster pet connect with the wonderful folks here!

I loved the fact that this site was homey and small, not like an adoption mill. The staff was friendly with the cats and not just doing their jobs. Each cat has a little condo with 4 separate spaces to hang out including 2 private spaces that say do not open, so the cats can get some peace and quiet! Steven, the adoption manager, was wonderful from the 1st time I spoke with him. He told me about the different cats that were available and their histories and personalities, so we could find a good fit. He waited for me late one day to come check out Leo after I finished work, and came in especially for me to pick up Leo to bring him home. He complimented my handling of Leo as a former cat owner. He gave me some food and a blanket to take home with me. He told me to call anytime if I had any problems. Wow!

I had my cat spayed here. They did a wonderful job. Explaining things thoroughly. The wait for my appointment was for a couple months but I was on the wait list in case of a cancellation and with that was able to get in almost a month sooner. My regular vet price would have been $1,011.00. Here I paid $25.00 deposit when I called to make an appointment (it’s required) and $115.00 the day of service. A little scary for me was dropping my baby off for surgery and having to pick her up the same day but she is recovering very well. I highly recommend.

My daughter took her cat there to get neutered this week and the vet tech was very rude to her when she dropped him off and picked him up. She had questions and the vet tech didn’t seem to want to answer her questions and just kind of pushed her off. Yes, their prices are reasonable. But they have to get better vet techs that have better bedside manners!

We have adopted 2 kittens from here and we won’t go anywhere else. All employees are amazing, and Steve is AWESOME! He is excellent at his job! We just got this cutie yesterday for his furever home!
