What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. This is a good store. It has a great location, great parking and a great product and service selection. The only downside is, they are normally very slow. Not always, but normally.

  2. The staff was excellent, selection was minimum. Store was clean and organized. Prices on dog and cat food a few dollars higher then other places. Wide variety of fish & aquariums. Pets to be adopted (cats) all seemed cared for and sweet. Your kids would enjoy the fish and cats. Great prices on leashes and other dog items. Foid elsewhere.

    was o. The higher

  3. Won’t use their grooming service ever again. Paid for a bath and brush and when I picked my dog up he was shedding something terrible. Noticed he wasn’t brushed and took him back and tried to explain that it wasn’t done. They told me it was normal. I know I’m not the brightest man, but I know I shouldn’t pull this much hair out of my dog after I paid for a bath AND A BRUSH. 🤦‍♂️

  4. It is Petsmart. Expensive stuff, some good staff, others leave a terrible taste. Hamsters cute though.

  5. Alot of times you have to search for an employee. I love reptiles and have bought a few from here and they always seem sick and the advice given for care instructions by the staff are usually wrong l.

I realize that it can’t be easy working in this industry and you can become inundated with work. I am sympathetic to all of the abandoned and rescued animals I have seen receiving help from your facility. I am sure there are very loyal and caring people working there. That being said, I was referred by 2 veterinarians to contact Griffin Pond as I had found an injured domestic rabbit in the road. I have no experience with rabbits but I do have a huge compassion for any animal that is suffering. I took the rabbit home and did my best to treat it. She was not in good shape. I called Griffin Pond but did not receive a return call. In the meantime, I took her to a veterinarian and paid for her to undergo a surgical procedure and took her home. The following day, she was not healing well and we returned to the veterinarian’s office. I needed to make a decision of another surgery or euthanization. The vet encouraged me to call Griffin Pond. Again, no response. We did proceed with another surgery however the illness had already overtaken this poor creature. My intention is not to place blame on Griffin Pond for this demise but I am however shocked at their lack of response. I am no stranger to Griffin Pond as I have donated to fundraisers for ill animals that have come in accumulating huge medical bills. I also adopted a dog there years ago. I drop off linens and towels and have even walked dogs. My reason for this post is my great disappoiment that I did not receive a return call for support or advice. I merely hope that by bringing this oversight to their attention, that this won’t happen to someone else. Unfortunately, this beautiful little rabbit did not survive.. My only hope is she had some happiness in her life before I came across her in this horrific state. She sure gave it her all, which is more than I can say for the help I got from Griffin Pond. I still haven’t heard from Griffin Pond. 😪 Shame on you.

I got my current 2 cats from here. The idea oc the community room with seversl cats living together in 1 room with no cages is a grest way to see who gets along and havd a better chance of bringing someone new home that’ll gef along with a current resident.

The people at the shelter are very nice. They are helpful and very happy to show you the animals that you are interested in. The place is clean and neat and the cages are kept clean. They are doing a wonderful job!

Got bad vibes from the staff, woman behind the desk was rude and not helpful. Failed to mention one of the dogs we made an appointment to see was very aggressive, almost bit me and they still tried to push the adoption on us, the second dog we saw was deaf and again wasn’t mentioned on line or on the phone. They were extremely pushy trying to bully us to adopt anything, in closing trying to get us to see a 10 year old pit bull after I told them repeatedly I wasn’t interested in a pit. Wouldn’t give this place my time or money. I’m just going to buy a dog.

I would love to adopt max but their application is so invasive I feel like I shouldnt have to answer some of these questions. You should be thankful people want to adopt these forgotten creatures and not give people a hard time doing so. I’d rather just buy a puppy and answer NO QUESTIONS than adopt a mystery dog with untold past and issues and be interrogated by people with no authority to do so in the process.

Wish i could give 0 stars. My boyfriend and I went here the other day and the bunnies had NO food, water or hay. They were eating their own feces. They looked sick. The bedding in their enclosure was NOT the correct one for them to have. They were in fish tanks. This place needs to be shut down. They dont care for their animals here.

I love the animals but unfortunately most of the staff makes you feel uncomfortable. Great pets for a hefty price tag. They must find a forever home. The staff needs guidance on customer service.

Wide variety of small animals and plenty of puppies. Store was clean and staff friendly. There are three pens in the center of the store where 3 puppies ran about enjoying time out of their cage. While there for about 15min, a pen was rotated with a different puppy. Many breeds to select from. Take a look sometime.

We bought a puppy from them and they were very kind with great customer service.

Can’t believe this place isn’t shut down yet. Bought a cat from there instead of adopting because it was living in a tiny bird cage. The adoptable cats were living better than how I found my cat at this business. Terrible place that should not still be open
