- Reviews:I love this place! I was looking for a place to go volunteer and this has been great! The cats are so sweet and friendly and the staff are also very nice! I love how quite it is !By Anamaria Holingher (3 years ago)We had a great experience with Cat Angels. We already have a 2 year old female cat, and were looking for a male kitten (because we had read that that would probably be best). Elizabeth (our adoption specialist) took the time to listen to us regarding our resident cat’s personality and what we were looking for. She had an idea of which cat might be a good fit, and introduced us. I was hesitant because the cat she showed us was not exactly what we had envisioned– the cat was young, but not a kitten– and it was a girl. But, as it turns out– Elizabeth was spot on! Our new cat and our first cat get along great. We are very pleased we trusted Elizabeth!By Laura B (a year ago)Looked for cats to adopt. Cat Angels accepts kittens, pregnant cats and adopts out all of them. Generally, for the younger kittens, they’re available as a set of two. I agree with their philosophy. It’s crowded with cats in smaller divided rooms they grow up in. They could use more space and volunteers. It’s a no kill shelter where every cat is guaranteed a home. They place a lot of not just kittens but cats The hygiene is good. There’s a disinfectant bath for shoes and Purrell for hands to keep their animals healthy. Our new kitty needed about two months to get used to his new home. He’s become very affectionate towards us. Great place for felinesBy Helga Bluestone (3 years ago)My husband and I adopted two kitten sister’s Florence and Helene. The people that work here are wonderful to all the cat’s in their care. We couldn’t be any happier with our two little love bug girl’s. Thank you Cat Angels Pet Adoptions for caring so much!By Sharon Mills (4 years ago)This place was great to work with. Cat Angels has been the best adoption group I have worked with going through the process to adopt a pet. Kimberly and the crew are easy to communicate with and a pleasure to deal with. We were caught in a spot where we needed to adopt a second cat. We had 2 and our 14yr old required us to make a hard decision. This left our 1.5 yr old cat alone. She started showing evidence of stress without her older buddy around. We did our research and started a dialogue with Cat Angels. We arrived at the site and while it was 45 min to closing for them they took use through every room to meet every cat they had. Even though they were gearing up for feeding time they gave us attention and did not rush us through. We filled out all our paperwork and submitted it. Sure, we had to provide Vet records and fill out adoption application papers but that was not a hassle at all. Everything was handled in the best possible way while keeping the animals welfare as the focus of the process. That was very key to us. We were making a 10+ years commitment to caring for and being the guardian of the adopted cat. We know they called around to check and verify us since we got the feedback from our contacts. I appreciate the thoroughness now. It took us 3 or 4 trips back meeting the cats and whittling our list down smaller and smaller. I very much felt that the team wanted us to match up to a cat that took to us and much as we took to the cat. They even arranged to have a volunteer meet us during non-scheduled hours to help accommodate our schedule. In hind sight, we really appreciated that they slowed down the process. We ended up with a great match due to this process. Our resident cat appreciated the effort, too. Since we were slowed down and had to think and observe and compare we picked out a great match. Now, our cats are great together and have really grown into best buddies. All through the transition process at our home Kimberly and the team were responsive to our emails and questions. I believe they really want every adoption to have an awesome ending. Even now, almost a year out, if I wrote them an email or dropped in they would have thoughtful advice and comments for any questions I may have. We are at max cat capacity right now but when we are in need to adopt another cat we will not hesitate to return to Cat Angels.By Bret Vanduine (6 years ago)

- Reviews:I would give Cary Animal Control a 0 if that was an option. In order to file a complaint you have to do it in writing, with no confirmation anything was ever done about it and if the problem persists, they tell you to fill out another form. Cary residents deserve better.By Gabe Auble (8 months ago)We had a bat in our house. The animal control officer was quick to respond. She got the bat contained in less than a minute. She looked around and gave us advice on what to do next. Great experience!By Amanda (a year ago)They took my cat away. He was outside on my porch and it was obvious that he was ours because he had a colour on and they just took him away from me. I love that cat so much and they just took him away from me.By A.E Show (10 months ago)Frankly these guys are awesome. The helped me get Subby back and are committed to getting pets back home. The officer helped me understand what might be going on with my elderly dog, and to never give up on finding him should this happen again. I never would, but it is nice to hear this reaffirmed. The are doing good work.By Mitch Samples (5 years ago)Worthless! My neighbor calls if my dog barks for a minute when she is outside. The ordinance says a dog has to bark more than 15 minutes. Why have an ordinance if anyone can call and complain for any reason and your dog hasn’t done anything wrong.By Debra B (5 years ago)

Me and my sister in law were wanting to adopt puppies at the same time and Second Chance was able to find puppies from the same litter! We fostered them until they were old enough for adoption. The staff is helpful and friendly. You can tell everyone there really cares about the animals in their care! So happy to have done our adoption through such a great place ☺️
10 years ago, I met both of my kitties here. The staff were super friendly, encouraging and had a plethora of resources to provide for a first time cat owner. We will be back when it’s time to add another furry ball of fury!
I came here looking for a dog for little to no experience owning one before. They were able to find me a dog that fit my lifestyle perfectly. That was almost 5 years ago, and I still have my best friend Poe! ♥️ These people really care about the animals they rescue and will do anything for them.
These guys put on or sponsored the free ice cream at Ben & Jerry’s last week. Great crew they had their end and adorable Australian shepherd mix eight month old puppy.
Our neighbor is fostering a young large dog from this organization. They have failed in taking care of this precious puppy! Sure, they’re providing food but this puppy has a terrible issue with a front leg. When he plays he’s in severe pain, but he’s a puppy and needs the exercise and socializing. This organization won’t provide pain meds or offer any other DMEs to help support his leg. It’s getting worse and worse daily. So how can an organization that says they’re taking care of these dogs, then ignore a very serious and painfully situation?!? So very sad for this puppy and the foster Mom who’s doing everything she can to take the best care of her foster puppy. Very, very disappointing!
