What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I have to say I was pretty surprised at the stuff still stocked on shelves that the “blue” stores consider seasonal. Definitely has a wider selection of choices on various items such as tools, shelving, and storage bins to name a few. Very nice Ryobi section with battery and gas powered items and the accessories. Thank goodness Home Depot realizes that people do use spray paint year round. Full spectrum of colors offered. Precut lumber sizes and wood types have broader size ranges for those with limited tools and/or workspace. Measure twice cut once 😁

  2. Guy in Fasteners was great! Very friendly and knowledgeable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Guy in paint the day prior was not friendly at all, as if I was a bothering him by purchasing 3 different paints. Zero ⭐

  3. Was appalled at the lack of customer support in the garden area this past weekend. On Sunday I went and purchased 33 bags of mulch, and understandably asked for help loading the bags into my car. Imagine my shock when the young man who rang me up basically told me no- they were short staffed and he wasn’t going to call anyone yo help me because there was no one to help me. Upon further observation there were multiple workers in the garden area as well as at least 2 workers collecting buggies in the parking lot. We will absolutely stick with Lowe’s strictly for the sake of decent customer service.

  4. I had a really great experience in the appliances section with a supervisor James Greene this evening. I had a previous appliance order that didn’t work out and had been told by online customer service, prior to coming into the store, that I would be allowed to apply a discount to a new order that had been applied to the previous order. It was late in his shift and not a straightforward situation, yet he still went above and beyond to get everything sorted out to order my new fridge and still get the discount I had been promised. He spent almost an hour with me making sure that everything was worked out before I left the store. I’m really grateful that there are still customer service employees out there who genuinely want to help people and make sure they have an exceptional experience and James was one of those people. Thanks for all of your help!

By far my go to home improvement store compared to the one across the street. Great houseplants, succulents, lanscape plants… rocks. Great for DIY’ers. redid my old messed up dresser top with squares of aluminum and carpet tacks, rocks and brick around the green house, redid the bathroom… the fiddle leaf fig came from there, floor, bathroom paint.. everything. I love their service, always someone close by asking if youre okay and finding things okay. the floor came out great for a first time tile project… just a cool store 🙂

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a Home Depot. Asked a couple of people to help me find something and got eye rolls and “I don’t know…” as if it wasn’t their problem. Then checked out in front of about 6 workers piddling around doing nothing and laughing and then once I’m almost out the door with my receipt tucked in my bag, carrying all of my things they want to chase me down and ask to inspect my receipt?…Maybe pay attention in the first place and you would have seen me checking out for the last 5 minutes. Anyways, going to Lowe’s across the street next time.

I am extremely disappointed with Home Depot’s window installation service. I ordered new windows in October and it is now April, and Home Depot still hasn’t installed them. Despite multiple promises that the installation would be completed, they failed to follow through on their commitments. Even though they offered a 20% discount, they still couldn’t provide a concrete install date, which further solidified my reason for disputing the charges with my credit card company. I received my $7800 back through the dispute. On top of that, Home Depot never offered any compensation for the lost time at work on the failed install dates. I sat at home waiting for them to show up, but they never did. They didn’t even offer a gift card as a gesture of goodwill. The lack of communication and failure to deliver on their promises is unacceptable. I strongly advise against using Home Depot’s window installation service.

used the curbside and sat for 45 minutes before I finally called. I wasn’t et with the most helpful associate on the phone. When my order was finally brought out, the two employees were very nice. the app thing was super frustrating.

Just went into the store. I’ve been in the store multiple times and I’ve never let down by the Customer Service was greeted as I was walking into the store and several times folks asked me did I need help finding something, I was in the tool section and Anne Marie approached me to find out if I needed any help and she walked me over to the nails where I was looking for a specific nail gun nail and she introduced me to Mike the store manager which stayed with me the entire time that I was looking for the nail, That type of customer service is few and far between I went on to carry a conversation with her about a bad experience that I had with the Summerville store and she was very apologetic about it and told me her role with the Home Depot. Very nice to know that there are people that care about Customer Service. Thank you Anne Marie thank you Mike, and all of the nice lady she introduced me to at the Home Depot in West Ashley Charleston, South Carolina. God bless you all.
