  2. Looks like ACE teaches their employees to have greater than thou attitudes. Every ace. They act lime your bothering them when you ask questions. Radio shack was like that and you see where they are now. BUSTED.

  3. Having difficulty with the employees. I was in a hurry looking for an A/C pump and a female employee comes screaming at me about needing to “check” my backpack at the register as if I were a high school Freshman or something. Not friendly, not helpful. Got the feeling She was reaching a little, disappointed She couldn’t nag about masks anymore or something. STOP hiring females for these positions for the love of Pete. They don’t know what they’re doing in a hardware store anyhow.

  5. Bought New float for a/c it was bad will not stop leaking after installing war ? They said can not be replaced used for about 6 hrs. will not buy anything ever bad service.

    Been here about 3-4 times in 2023. Will never go back. Encounter 1 had homeless people in the store. When I asked about it I was told the staff would not nor could not do anything about it. Encounter 2 had needed help with a project, staff was not helpful even though company branding and commercials advertise that this is what they do here. Got a very snarky and straight up rude “manager” (older guy in his 60’s) speak very condescendingly to me. Encounter 3 had a coupon for certain percent off normal priced merchandise. Coupon was not honored, was told “we don’t do that here” by the same manager. Encounter 4 was today, I needed help with a very simple plumbing project, had 1 employee pass me off to another, then employee 2 brought in employee 3, they had conflicting ideas about how to fix the thing I needed. Enter employee 4 our beloved manager from above and proceed to shout over employees 2 and 3, when I made a comment about it he got offended and pretty aggro with me. This dude has no sense of customer service and seems generally unhappy with life. If the owners of this store care about sales they will fire him immediately.

    Super pricey. Staff is great. They are knowledgeable and helpful. Great place to go if you just need that one item.

    Military friendly. Helps the troops out. Also call ins and quick pickups are great. Thank you for helping us with our propane tanks for the BBQ

    Great customer service along with a very hospitable and calm environment 👍👍👍!!! The store had everything I needed and the employees were quick on their feet to assist every customer that walked in the door..Amazing 👌👌👌!!!! You don’t get that type of service too often anymore…Thank you Ace Hardware for your services to the community…keep up the Great work✊!!!

    ACE has many products although this location is small. It was a perfect Hardware Store over by the Food King/City area very large. At 5 Points I purchased 3 door bells. At purchase spoke with staff that I would return probably one after I see which fits best. Used 2 and went to return the single one. Older gentleman who was ID’d as the Manager is who I spoke with. I do not wish to come across as being vindictive but am giving an honest review. As approached him with 2 other of his associates he had an angry look on his face when return was mentioned. I said hello and can you helped me. He did not greet me nor how can I help you. He saw that the package was pretty much destroyed and even agreed it is next to impossible to open these type of packages without destroying the package. An associate agreed. He told me he would not accept it for return because he could not repackage it “and put it back on the shelf.” I assumed a return is sent back to his manufacturer or his supply source but he made no reference to this. I asked him how anyone … him …. could open the packaging any better or more carefully and he agreed again (as did an associate). But he refused the return. I have purchased before from this location and everyone very helpful and pleasant. Rarely returned anything or at any ACE location. The amount is minor $14.00. But his sour disposition even as we approached his desk (associate “we have a return here”) and cold, unfriendly … actually hostile adversarial manner really seemed wrong and not up to the standards for a place like ACE. He agreed the packaging requires mangling it to get the item out and he could not have unpacked it much nicer. I will never return to this ACE location unless I have no other options. I think it was a cheap response by this person and not customer friendly. I thanked him although I was very, very tempted to become nasty (realized it would not get returned anyways if I did) and left without any other comment.
