- Reviews:I was referred to Saving Grace Plumbing from a friend of a friend. Didn’t know what to expect and relied heavily on my friend’s referral and the company’s high Google star rating. To answer your question – Yes, I would use them again and am happy with the work being done so far. I was experiencing water draining from UNDER my entire driveway and into the alley (see pics). I was told by friends and other plumbing companies (on the phone) based upon the factors present, I most likely had a slab leak. The water meter in the front yard is running when everything is shut off in the house and it appears I’m still losing about a gallon of water every minute and a half. Just like any major house repair – who can you trust to do the job and give a fair price for the work? Once I called Saving Grace, they scheduled the leak locate appointment for the next day. Plumbing Technician Robert came out with one of his coworkers. They were very professional, friendly, and, most importantly, knowledgeable. They were able to locate a cold-water leak feeding into my water heater within minutes. It was amazing how efficient they were finding the leak in a short amount of time using their equipment. The leak locate cost about $300. I got the estimate two days after the leak locate was done and agreed to their repair price about $4,000. The slab leak repair will be for a cold-water line that feeds into my water heater. I am now waiting for the dig and repair crew which will be sometime next week. They are busy and the only drawback being the leak will have been running for over a week before it’s fixed. I am sure I will get sticker shock when the City’s water bill comes in for the month. I’ll add to this review once all the repairs have been completed. Recently had 2 separate water leaks we’ve had to call Baker Brothers Plumbing. Andrew “Drew” Floyd was the technician who completed the last job. He is professional and kept me informed as to what he was doing throughout his day. Although there was a minor mistake in cutting the fiber optic line, all worked out well. He contacted Frontier and opened up a ticket for them to replace the line. They also will pay for the repair, which is what is expected. We’ll continue to use them for service.
Nice and fast! Samuel Banner was able to get my broken coach light back into working order. Best of all, he was able to come a day early and he completed the entire effort in under 30 minutes. No parts, no new fixture, just a nice fast repair that saved me money. Thanks!
I had Plumbing emergency yesterday where my two handle walk-in shower cold water wouldn’t stop running.
Baker Brother plumber came and estimated $266 for a quick cartridge/stem fix.
He started to unscrew the Stem but I could clearly see that he was struggling to use/find the right size socket wrench. He asked me not to watch him do his job as he feels pressured. So, I stepped away and gave him space.
After this, I could hear that he started to talk to other professional in native language over phone and seems like seeking guidance from other person on the phone to do the job.
He asked me if I have right size wrench, which I do not have. So, he went to nearby plumbing store and got couple of wrenches and after coming back he just cut top of Stem which I think was not at all required. After some time he said that valve/stem is broken and he cannot take out the inside piece.
Only option he gave me now is that he has to replace the whole valve assembly by cutting the wall or tiles which would cost around $1400 and I have to separately work with tile or wall fix experts once he finishes there plumbing job.
This is so unprofessional from Baker Brothers, where they are sending non-professional plumbers and breaking/cutting parts just to create a bigger project and price gouging out of an easy quick fixes, just because customer has emergency.
Now, I have no option but to seek second opinion from other professional plumber who would try to take out this broken part or suggest me better solution. I am also looking to post consumer complaint against Baker Brothers.
Update as of 11/08/2022:
Baker Brothers sent there experienced plumber next day, he took the part out in 15 mins and fixed everything in a professional way they were suppose to. Very nice to see that they accepted the mistake committed first time.

Really appreciated the advice and professionalism I had with Baker Brothers. Starting with a text to introduce me to my technician, all the way through the great work (and amazing clean-up too). I was very happy with how Sean took the time to explain everything to me and he gave me options with pros and cons of each so I would feel comfortable with the best option for my repair. I chose the reroute of the water line to fix the leak. It took several hours to fix it but Sean kept me updated throughout the entire process. After he was done, he walked me through everything he had done and why. I felt that Sean truly cared that the repair was done in the most effective and efficient way and that he treated me (and my home) with respect. I am a happy Baker Brothers customer.
