Half of self check outs are always closed- creating lines. Customer service employees are very slow and provide wrong information about availability of product in another Walmart. After I paid, pickup suddenly changed to February 9. Found the same treadmill available in-store at another area so I tried cancelling my order but app wouldn’t let me. Also found items available in store according to app but when I go there to purchase it, turns out they’re out of stock. She was a very good worker. She had a big smile and help me find the spray paint I need it behind the locked cabinet. She was smiling a lot to me and making big eyes . I think she like me, but I am married man. The best part about Walmart is the quality that they give and their trademark low prices which are truly unbeatable. Self check out only. Staff are rude & ignorant they watch you scan your items, then they come up to you and go through your bag saying you didn’t scan items. They have a phone device that is a Copy of the register you are using so they know the items you scan. She never apologized for accusing me of not scanning my items which were all scanned she just walked away. I told her not all customers are thieves and she ignored me. Also the prices are not cheaper anymore. Shelves still empty. I’ll shop Canadian stores from now on. Shame on you Walmart.By BD (3 weeks ago)Picked up baby food and a few lunch food items and had everything in one bag. I was pulled aside and demanded to show my receipt for items. When asked why I was told “we randomly pick people to ask”. No one around me was asked to show receipt and everyone was looking at me as I took all the items out of my bag to get my receipt. It’s embarrassing to be treated like a criminal for no reason other than someone picked you out and thinks you “look” like a shoplifter. I shop at the Kenaston Walmart regularly and have never seen or had this happen to me. It infuriates me that people are still allowed to discriminate and decide who they “think” is a shoplifter based on the way they look. Just sharing our experience today. We were waiting on the line where we are directed by a staff to inquire about a phone we would like to inquire but an associate by the name of Harshemin just came and approach a customer next to us…we were in the line in front of them as well waiting patiently to be served. The staff who served the customer next to us was not politely explaining her reason but rather rolling her eyes and making a face and head gesture which absolutely not acceptable.
We understand if there are no enough staff to accomodate inquiries but to cut a customer waiting patiently as well i think is not acceptable.
After that discussion, with that staff who cut us, another staff came to politely serve our inquiries.
No one picks up calls at the store, no proper response whenever I visited in person on my order query. FedEx delivered my online order 3 days before to the store and as of today, I am still awaiting an order pick-up call. Walmart customer care is also dependent on the store as stores also don’t attend their calls (came to know while on a call with customer care). Really an experience that I don’t want to experience another time.
It makes zero sense to even have this location if you can’t even get Tylenol after 7pm on a weekend, even with a cop standing at the entrance. Just close and move to a safer location then. Not even a sign saying you can’t buy anything in this section. I asked where the back massagers were and was told they were behind the gate and I couldnt purchase one. So with my back pain, I couldn’t even buy pain relief or a massager because Walmart decided to build a store in a neighborhood where they can’t even sell items because of theft.
how can you shop at 7pm on a saturday when they are filling the aisles with pallets of stock?? my husband and i left without buying anything because while trying to figure out how many tables and chairs to buy for an upcoming event, a worker came up with another pallet and said he wanted to park it where we were. he at least had the decency to say excuse me. but this is what made us leave. it’s not the first time we haven’t been able to look for items to purchase due to pallets taking up entire aisles.
I entered the store at approximately 10:40 PM, intending to use the restroom for a few minutes. However, I was denied access by two employees at the entrance, who informed me that the store was closed.
I attempted to explain my situation, emphasizing that I only needed a few minutes to use the restroom, and I also pointed out that there were still customers exiting the store. Despite my plea, the employees, both of whom appeared to be of Indian descent, were unyielding in their refusal to let me in. Their lack of empathy and inflexibility left me feeling upset and humiliated.
I understand the necessity of closing the store at a designated time, but the situation could have been handled more compassionately and with greater understanding. It was evident that the store was not completely closed, as other customers were still present. A simple act of kindness in allowing me to use the restroom for a brief moment would have made a significant difference in my experience.
