What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. This Kroger use to be great but now they struggle. This is my store while at the lake a couple times per month. There are not enough staff to help bag groceries – I always end up bagging my own now and I can only assume that is to force me to self check out. Today I decided to deal with the inside check out and ordered a click list. Upon arrival there were no parking spaces and a line of cars we waited over half an hour – totally not the point of click list . With selection and service waning the differentiators that kept me as a loyal Kroger customer are gone. I am disappointed that I have to move on.

  2. Kroger Pickup has GOT to get better. I stopped coming 6 months ago and took my business to Walmart. I am a local mom and I refuse to try and grocery shop for the week with my kids. I got a call from Kroger Pickup every week telling me my groceries would be late. Due to the quality of food being better at Kroger I have attempted to switch back. I got a call this morning telling me my groceries would be two hours late. We decided to pick groceries up after church today at 1:30, my original pick up time was 9:00-10:00. We sat in the pick up spot for almost 25 minutes before I finally called the manager to see where our groceries were. In those 25 minutes of waiting, I only saw someone come out to fill up a car twice.

You guys have got to find a way to get this fixed. You are losing business due to a lack of punctuality. This pick up issue has not been seasonal, it has been consistent for over a year.

Taking my business back to Walmart until you can get this figured out.

  3. I called the Kroger bakery for a simple order. It took two calls and customer service before the call was answered. I asked the lady who accepted the call. If they had pre-made birthday cakes? I asked her to please choose one in pink or purple anything suitable for a little girl and write a name on it for me. She could not accommodate. The lady acted stunned and dumbfounded.
All she had to do was write a name on a birthday cake that was pre-written with happy birthday. You would have thought I requested her to make a wedding cake on the spur of the moment. Needless to say I went elsewhere.

  4. One of their long time “register moniters” came to ring me up on my wine and was clearly put out when I ask for a special purchase that took her less than 30 seconds to obtain for me, so she told me “I gotta see some ID”!After I went back to the car and came back , she deliberately took a long time to input the info?!! I ask her straight if she had me mistaken for one of her arch enemies and she replied- No, why?, speaking like she was pleased that she may have got my gander up. I replied “O,so you are just a naturally nasty and unprofessional employee!! I never go back to her side EVER! Also Kroger has taken the price of Lysol pet to the pet isle and is charging 13+ dollars for already overpriced7-8 dollar can of spray!!! They do this ALL THE TIME because folks donʼt notice or seem to get outraged. But let me tell you, I can tell you of 15 times (at least ) that I have seen this fanageling Why? They think some are unaware of prices and eventually THOSE folks WILL pay!! I canʼt wait til Publix is OPEN RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!!!!!🙂💕💕My next posts WILL HAVE pictures!!! And I am only giving them one star because I canʼt post without at least one. So sad about that!

  5. The store is clean and the staff is always helpful. I have been shopping there for some time and their rewards card gives a good discount off your grocery bill. There isn’t much that I haven’t been able to find. Produce is always fresh, meats are always a good cut, store and restrooms are clean. Rewards from the card carry over to the gas pump, which helps as well. Overall, one of the better stores to shop in our area of Gainesville.

Very friendly shopping experience with friendly employees to help you with anything you may need. An employee named Wyatt helped me out to my car my last visit, and he was very kind and generous and made sure all my needs were met!

Customer service here has been awful the past 2 years. Especially at the self checkout at night time. The rudest people I HAVE EVER MET WORK HERE!! Tonight though, I’m coming home from work late and I really need some bandages for my kid who has had surgery and at 15 minutes til 11 the doors would not open. Customers were still coming out but no one could go in. There was no signage saying they were closing early or had changed their hours but this was a really bad experience, ANOTHER BAD EXPERIENCE AT THOMPSON BRIDGE KROGER! WONT BE BACK EVER!!!

I’ve been coming to this Kroger for 6-7 years. Up until the past 2-3 years it has been a positive experience. I get my groceries and go on about my day. However I do not know their names but the two older ladies(one has blonde hair, the other has dark hair) who work at self checkout and who often are there during closing have been nothing but DISGUSTINGLY rude to my fiancé and I. We are constantly getting profile(for stealing) by these two specific people, they always have a smug attitude, always leaning over our shoulders to see what we are doing at checkout, and are just very unwelcoming. I know we can’t be the only ones who feel the way we do. I’d say management knows already about this and is choosing to let it slide.

Kindly fix this situation please so we can have a positive experience getting our groceries. Thanks.

Every time I go through self checkout the associate working there racially profiled me @ assumes I’m trying to steal something and checks my receipt and asks if I scanned everything and even checks my bagging. I used to be an associate here and thinking I would steal from an establishment is very rude to me.

Placed my first pickup order online last month. I was charged $54.97 for ONE pack of chicken breasts and $49.94 for the SECOND pack.TWO packs of chicken breasts that are $9-$15 each in store. And most of the fresh veggies and fruit I ordered we’re also rotten. I’ve shopped here for years and up until 6 months ago the produce is never fresh anymore either. Still waiting on my refund…
