What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Why are the entrance/exits closed?
It really stinks when you run up to store doors in the rain, only to find that they’re locked and blocked. The signs say that they close these doors at 9 pm. On the inside the doors say that they MUST BE UNLOCKED when the store is occupied. It’s 6:30 pm, and the store is occupied.
There’s a red EXIT sign lit above the door.
Isn’t it illegal to block a fire exit?

  2. This Kroger was very clean, easy to get in and out of, with all those great products Kroger carries.

  3. Jenn, the Beverage Manager, is super responsive and helpful when it comes to wine and spirits suggestions. I was in today and found myself without a cart. She walked to the front of the store and got a cart for me just to save me time and the trouble. Great service!

  4. Taryn is the best! We love to see her when we come. People are polite here. We drive further just to come to this location.

  5. Let’s start with the entrances, they have two of which one states open until 9pm only which is not true (it may never be open). When I asked about this they simply said corporate refuses to send updated stickers for the door. A simple piece of paper taped to the door would suffice to solve this. So then you shuffle into the other entrance but wait, you get stuck entering the secondary door with again, nothing posted; instead you are forced to run through incoming traffic via the exit for all the checkout lanes. The entry here is filthy and in need of a vacuum likely. Lastly, after shopping and getting a good size cart full you roll up to check out and only self check out is open. This isn’t this issue suffice to say scanning $400 worth of groceries isn’t ideal but the real issue is there are no self checkouts with a conveyor belt leaving you no real option but to grab another cart and try to fit it in this tiny area for the next 30 minutes while you handle this. I’ve been shopping here for years and this place keeps getting worse, sadly. I don’t imagine it will last much longer running like this. Hopefully this place get some better management soon and shape up.

Small store with limited selection of items. The other customers weren’t even friendly. I took my own reusable bags, several insulated. I had to request my bags be used three different times and still ended up with items in plastic bags, including meat, which should have been placed in any one of the many reusable insulated bags I’d taken with me. They couldn’t even bother to use the zipper closure to secure the bags! In conclusion, I repackaged all of my groceries. J won’t be going back there!

This grocery store may not be the biggest location at which to shop, but its convenience is unrivaled, and the location has served as a key Zionsville grocery hub for decades. There are occasional inventory hiccups, but overall the store has served the community well. The staff is always kind and helpful.

I recently made a purchase and the register charged 27% over what the posted price for the item was. I should not need to keep track of the price of every item I purchase to make sure it is charged right at the register.

In recent price comparison for identical groceries, other stores were lower in price or equal in price for the same brand name products. I have complained to the Kroger customer support about this before. Add this to the fact that this store does not carry some brand name products I want (In my opinion, apparently in favor of providing their own brand in excess). I often find I cannot find what I am looking for and need to go elsewhere. As of this posting, they don’t even carry a complete selection of spices.

This store gives all other Krogers a bad name. I’m a fan of Kroger but this one is unable to keep its shelves stocked and is way overpriced. It seems like half the time they are completely out of whatever I’m coming to buy even when they’re common items.

When they opened this Kroger, I left a review complaining about dairy products in the case that were past their expiration date. It’s still happening. I was there on July 10 and saw a bottle of milk dated July 4. I reported it to customer service because… ick. Had to go back the next day to buy milk and the SAME OLD BOTTLE was still there. I reported it to someone in the dairy section this time and said I’d reported it the day before. Her response was, “Yeah, someone told me about that…” and then she mumbled something. The bottle was right in front and by itself, so it certainly wasn’t hard to see, but this store doesn’t seem to care. Avoid it if you like fresh food. Other products have the same problem throughout the store.
