5 months agoThis location was clean and they offer a great selection of foods. Prices not bad. They offer a atm and make money orders. Went in for a money order and got other item as well. Well stocked.2 months agoThe people who work there have always been very helpful, friendly and go out of their way to help their customers. I hate the self checkouts, because if we’re not too sure if about something and we got questions, we want to talk to a cashier. I don’t trust those stupid self checkouts.a year agoThis is my Kroger! I use the pharmacy, shop, and even buy some of the best sushi that I can find in Terre Haute at a great price still! My fave is the Dragon with Shrimp , as of today!! I usually get the Crab one but today I wanted to try the Shrimp and it is delish ! If you haven’t had a chance to check out the sushi at this Kroger, you are missing out!! Also, great florist and deli! Don’t forget to watch for the Sushi deals!2nd Review: This Kroger is one of the best around! If you are not shopping here you are missing some great deals!! I have said above the sushi is on point and nothing has changed there. The florist area is always an eye catcher. The fresh fruits and veggies will keep even the pickiest organic person smiling! They have great deals that are even better using the app….get it you won’t be sorry. The grill area doesn’t disappoint 😋 Alcohol is for sale…even Chilled wine!
2 months agoBUYER BEWARE!!! When you purchase gas at this place if business, it could charge your account $150 or MORE to hold!!!! No signage stating how much just a small little sign stating there might be a hold charge. Customer service said it is illegal to warn customers of how much it is going to be. Please show me that law. You just don’t want to lose business. Then she states “she was sorry things were not the way I wanted them.” Lady of you worked for me, you would not have a job. Customer service is key!!4 years agoA wide variety of items available! Everything is easy to find and getting around the store is simple. They have a great and fresh produce selection as well as low prices. They also have a diverse array of bread options. The grocery store itself is well-maintained. It is clean and organized. The staff is incredibly helpful! I asked an employee about the Kroger card, and he offered to go all the way to the front of the store to get me the paper with the information, and he ran there and back to explain how the program worked. Amazing service!

a year agoSooooo yeah. Here’s the deal, my mom ordered a cake for my little sister. Ordered one but they called to say that they didn’t have the decorations for the cake… okay so we accepted the crown and scepter cake that’s.. the pictures will tell y’all how it went. Giving another star because the manger was great about it the refund. The managers name was Chris.Update: Giving another star because there was zero problem with getting my refund back. Was kinda funny when the people on from counter laughed at how bad the cake was.
3 months agoEverything I bought is out of date by months and has gone bad. They also did not print a receipt so I cannot return anything. Appears nothing is cut fresh in store. Sad decline considering Kroger meat cutters were once a respectable blue-collar job to have when I was a kid. Now everything is just processed and packaged in super-sized warehouses. Don’t ever shop the meat department here!

All the wonderful people that work here are really friendly and helpful. I had a great experience all in all. The only problem was the prices were a little high for me. Otherwise I would definitely visit again.
Kroger in Kroger Plaza in East side Terre Haute is one of my favorite places to shop! Use the Kroger App and clip any coupons or cash back coupons that apply to your shopping list! Really handy! Plus, you gotta love the fuel points!!
They put in two more rows of self-serve checkouts… They don’t use all the self-serve checkouts at any given time they only use the new ones when the old ones are broken down.. I am not a fan of self-service checkouts in a grocery store. When you have a large basket of groceries it is very difficult to bag the stuff without needing help for some reason or another. You won’t know how to check out a certain vegetable that you want to buy or they have to come give you a scan to prove you 21 to buy alcohol. Makes me very upset to wait for 15 minutes to do a self-checkout and then need assistance.
I shop at Kroger’s practically every single day. The one thing I afore about Kroger’s is their hot bar. Lynch time when you the your break, go to Kroger’s for Fried Chicken, Mac and Cheese, green beans; seasoned that is plus a whole lot more. Let’s not forget about there cold meats cut to perfection.
They don’t have as many selections (shelved foods and deli options) as the Kroger I used to shop at in Indianapolis/Greenwood off County Line Rd., BUT the staff are always nice, and checkouts are quick and easy.
