What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I decided to come on here and review today and noticed that I had an old review from over a year ago saying how great this place was. It was a five-star review. Well, that has all changed. What was the last straw for me was when I came to the door to go in a half an hour before closing time, and they would not let people in because they said they wanted everybody out by closing time. Well, in essence they made a new closing time, because if you can’t go in for a box of cereal a half an hour before the store closes, well, in essence they made a new closing time. Not the time in the door.

What is the deal with the milk lately? They don’t stock it like they used to.

I just think they’re way overpriced, and I have found other places to shop that want my business more. I have been shopping at Walmart since and I’ve had no difficulty whatsoever. Walmart has a new loyal customer. I used to be a loyal Kroger customer. I do not recommend this particular store.

  2. The selection of items at this location makes 7-11 look like Costco. Such a huge footprint of a store and they have seemingly no products. Looking for a steak? This place has three steaks in the counters at all times, and they all look like dog food. Looking for water filtration? LOL. Looking for frozen vegetables? Wander down every single aisle looking rather than being greeted with a sign in the freezer aisle that simply says ‘Vegetables” like every other market manages to do. This place is abysmal before you even notice the usurious prices they put on grocery staples. Worst market in Michigan, possibly the Midwestern United States.

  3. Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced, a lady by the name of Ann epitomizes why I will not be shopping at Kroger again. You can’t do returns after 8pm but you can do exchanges until closing. When I stated it wasn’t online and no visible signs after looking around and not finding anything as I indicated she went in the back to find and show the sign. It’s not even about the rules or policy but the basic customer service was so severely lacking that I managed to get visibly frustrated which rarely happens. What a disturbing interaction.

  4. Still making customers wait. This is at 9pm at night, not a Saturday which I would imagine being much worse. They have plenty of unused registers, just lack the will or ability to staff them. Cashiers are doing the best they can. It has to be rough on them. Management must be the issue since this has been happening for years.

  5. Inefficient customer service at the return desk. Only one employee working while 15 customers in the line. Managers don’t respond to helpdesk employees page for at least 10 minutes causing the line grow longer. You cannot return and purchase at the return desk so you have to stand for hours on two different lines. Also if you don’t have receipt to return, they cannot pull up receipt using the credit card you used or the kroger rewards number which is ridiculous

I recently went to Kroger to pick up a few items. Kroger is now forcing their customers to do self-checkout. So along with high inflation and no reduction in Kroger prices we’re supposed take away a hard working cashier employees job. I just don’t feel good about how they are treating their employees. I will avoid Kroger.

0 stars. Called three 3 times to assure someone was in the bakery write my wife’s name on a cake. Called when I was 15 minutes away and “No problem”. Waited over 10 minutes at the bakery and no one came out. Lady stopped by and said, “oh they don’t write anything on the cakes”. WHY EVEN HAVE A BAKERY? Called to talk to a manager and no one would answer. This Kroger should just close- its horrible.

This place is in DESPERATE need of a remodel! The aisles get terribly congested due to the size. It is probably the poorest as far as having items on the shelf and having people to inquire to. How, on a late wednesday morning, does a store have NO extra large or jumbo eggs on the shelf!? Or no regular cream cheese!?

Was there on 6/21/23 at 9am, I have been having a problem with my card and usually the cashier enters my numbers manually and then I enter my pin #. The man working the self check out that day was absolutely beyond rude to me, I waved him down and told him I needed help, he never even came over to see what was wrong. He barely gave me any eye contact and then shooed me away and told me he couldn’t help me. I told him the problem I was having and that usually the cashier can make it to where I can enter my numbers manually AGAIN he told me there was NOTHING he could do. So I asked him if he could at least print me off a receipt so I could take it to the regular line and pay, he AGAIN told me he couldn’t help me. I grabbed my bags and told him he was super rude and went to another cash register he continued to argue with me. What kinda person with that kind of attitude works in customer service????? Literally pretty much just DID NOT do his job, so why is he even standing at the self checkout if he’s not going to assist customers???

This store is going downhill fast. Becoming the new riverland Kroger before our very eyes. Their meat is spoiling faster than it can be cooked. Time to find a new grocery store
