What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Clean and well organized, always stocked, good variety, bought some fruit cups last time I was there and they were expired. Good selection and price 4 meat. It takes 2 long to check out and needed more cashier’s. Good sales, has a Starbucks, good location right off highway, adequate parking. Poor customer service skills. Employees walk pass me never asked if I needed help. Another shopper saw me trying to get something from top shelf and asked if I needed help. Exterior had a nice fall display. I would definitely go back and be aware of expiration dates on products.

  2. Found out why the chicken was on sale yesterday. Someone just wasn’t paying attention 5 outta the 8 pieces were pink underneath. This Kroger is usually better than this but kinda gross

  3. Came out the way because their online showed that they had something in stock that they actually didn’t have in stock.

  4. Out of 24 lanes, 16 of them are self checkout and there’s usually only 2 cashiers utilizing the remainder of the checkout lines. Absolutely asinine to expect customers to check themselves out rather than employing actual workers. Clearly Kroger cares about profit margins more than giving people jobs.

  5. I have been shopping at this Kroger location for years and it has been fine until last night. I went in about 9:20. I needed someone in the meat department to ask if the bacon that was on sale had more that had not been stocked. I asked 2 employees for help. One was not helpful at all, he said I don’t know that’s not my department. The second employee snapped at me when I asked if there was anyone in the meat department (because no one was over there and they are supposed to be available the sign says until 10 pm), he was very rude and unprofessional. Finally I wave down the employee in the meat section, which I’m sure he saw me trying to get his attention and ignored me, he just completed said we don’t have it without even letting me ask my question. How rude. If you don’t like your job leave, but don’t be rude to people, especially if they weren’t rude to you. So after this I went and found one of the managers. She looked like I was bothering her and not very friendly, but she did write me a rain check after I told her what happened, which I was not expecting. That was kind and good customer service so that’s why I added a star. Overall if I have to drive to another location or shop at H‑E‑B I will. I have 5 children and we spend too much money on our grocery bill to have to put up with bad service.

I really liked customer service! There was a very sweet person who gave bananas to my children as a snack while we shop. Then, when I was at the checkout, I needed help putting the stuff in my car, so an employee named Daniel came out of the store just to help me put the stuff in the car! Awesome customer service! 101% recommended.

I really like this location off 518 @ Cullen. I love that they have $6 sushi specials on Wednesdays. The last time I was there, Shelby helped me check out in the self-check out lane and even helped me load my basket. There was an issue with a digital coupon and she immediately resolved it. I’ll continue to shop at this location because of the awesome service I always receive.

The store is good and I like the products here but the bathroom was badly dirty… Pee everywhere. Knowing that’s not store’s fault but better to keep up the clean environment. We as customers should use it nicely as well. Other than that, I’m fine with the store. I love the flower 🌸 section tho! It was beautiful 🤩 Cheers 🥂

WHY DO Y’ALL BLOCK THE DOORS AT 8 WHEN YOU CLOSE AT 11!?!?!?! I understand 10:30, I understand half of them at 9:30. But all of them blocked 3 hours before you close?

    1) It makes the already stressful shopping experience more stressful because I have to go through the exit. 2) I makes it hard for those of us with disabilities. 3) It creates traffic jams. It is less efficient when arriving and leaving the store. 4) You are open, do you want people to come in? Because blocking the entrance signals otherwise.

2a) Disablillities: when parking we calculate how far we need to walk for getting into the store along with how much walking and searching we will be doing in the store. When those calculations are thrown off because we add more walking to the agenda, it puts more stress on us. I know to the able bodied 20 more feet means nothing but a minor annoyance. For me it means higher risk of passing out. It means getting dizzy faster having to pause more to breath. And if you don’t belive me check your privileges. Not all of us have the ability too walk an extra 20 feet without seeing effects of it somewhere else in our life.

manager is VERY RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL especially towards employees just Old and miserable. She needs to retire. It’s not like she does her job anyways, she’s too worried about everyone else to actually help the store.

This review is specifically for the pharmacy. This was my first visit to this pharmacy, and I was super impressed. Everyone here has been phenomenal – quick, efficient, well-organized and very friendly. I got what I needed in a timely manner and felt very well taken care of.

Kroger is so bloody exhausting. Digital coupons, buy two of this by four of that by five of this. My shopping for food or playing games with numbers at Kroger? Deleted the app, bye-by Kroger

Not so friendly staff, poor selections, empty shelves, gross piles of products just dumped in bins all over the store. Some places it’s impossible to even get a cart past/through. I really want to emphasize the lack of selection and generally how dirty the store is. Prices at this location are more expensive than HEB or Walmart and both have kinder staff and fuller shelves. Update, my opinions of this location have remained unchanged.
