What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Becoming the worst kroger to go to. Went in there for 6 items so i can finish dinner. It took 1hour to get out of line there and when i got in line it was at back of store. There is people walking around everywhere in the back but thet dont want to put them on register when its time for alot of people to checkout. This store really needs a new manager. So dont go into this store unless you grab a cart to start with in the parking lot and also have hour to stand in line. The stores up the food prices for what not to pay people to come in and work then why are prices higher? Then on top of so many people walking out they leave the carts full of food and they sit there ruining the food. So this krogers losing customers and food wasted. Its not good and they will ahow and signaficate loss in coming year. Only postive thing at the store was the customers that did dwcide to stay because qe had no choice was very nice about it but decided they wont be back to that location. Its sad

  2. The most annoying thing about this store is searching for a cart that actually works. A wheel will lock if the cart is taken outside the lot. Unfortunately the lot and lobby are littered with locked and partially locked carts.

The grocery area itself is adequate.

The public areas, though, need a through cleaning.

  3. This Kroger is best around the lunch hour. When I go after work, it’s pretty busy. I’ve always gotten good produce there, and they usually have everything I’m looking for. When it’s busy, produce can be picked over or completely sold out.

Prices are great! I use the Kroger app and always scan my card for discounts.

There are bike racks right up against the building, and they have both baskets and carts for shopping. Baskets aren’t always by the entrance so I have to go ask at the checkout. Carts can sometimes be all in use too.

  4. ⁉️⁉️⁉️‼️‼️⚠️❌❌❌🚱🚷

This place could be better if they hired more staff to clean the toilets, please inspect this area because it doesn’t have proper sanitation 🧻
    ❌❌❌❌‼️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️

  5. Probably the worst grocery experience you can have. Never any carts or baskets available, when they are they are broken. Very unclean and disgusting store. Always understaffed. This store gets to skirt by all of its inefficiencies and poor quality control and cleanliness simply because it’s a close option to many of us here in the inner city. Night and day different from any other Kroger I’ve been to.

We come to Kroger on a regular basis. The alternative is Walmart so we don’t have much of a choice. The staff is friendly. My only complaint is the water machine. It hasn’t been working for a long time. It is frustrating that we have to constantly spend extra money buying water in jugs we don’t need. FIX THE WATER MACHINE PLEASE!

Lower prices and it’s better than Walmart, but we will never shop here again. It is not worth saving a few dollars on eggs to deal with the self checkout machines and policies. The staff will not take the security tags off alcohol without seeing that we’ve paid for everything. I am not a thief. I have never stolen anything in my life. I will never steal anything. No amount of alcohol is worth going to jail and losing my job over. I do not appreciate being treated like a thief. The way the lady at self checkout looked at me said, “you’re going to steal these if I take the tags off them before you pay.” My wife had her card in the card reader as I asked. I cannot emphasize this enough, I am not a thief so do not treat me like one. The self checkout machines will not scan items effectively. We tried to scan the same loaf of bread 6 times because we had 6 loaves of bread. But we had to stand there for nearly 10 minutes trying to get the machine to scan all our items because it has such a long delay. Same issue with the eggs. Same issue with every item we tried to buy. Further, the machine will not let you continue if you take items off of the bagging area. The bagging area has enough room for 6 bags. We had more than 6 bags. We take the items off and put them into our cart and the machine won’t let us continue. The same employee that is giving me nasty looks for trying to get out of there a few seconds faster has to come over and fix the machine 3 times so we can continue scanning our groceries. This is beyond frustrating. Why are we not allowed to put the groceries that we are paying for into the cart to take them to our car? I understand that it is an attempt to deter thieves, but all it does is anger the 99% of people that are actually there to buy things. I have already spoken on the employee, but she was rude to my pregnant wife about the machine not functioning as it should. “Well its not working because you didn’t scan the other bottle of alcohol.” NO IT’S NOT. We were trying to scan the other bottle when it popped up with the “wait for an associate” screen again. It’s not working because we took the groceries that we bought and put them into our cart. 3 times. 3 times she insinuated that we were thieves. We will never shop at this store again. No matter where we live. We’ll pay more for eggs at target over having to deal with all these anti theft measures and extremely rude employees. Again. Don’t treat good people like they’re thieves.

Waited 45 minutes for a pick up order. Had to call customer service to get the order checked on. I understand being understaffed, but communication with customers could be vastly improved.

It looks like a normal Kroger.

For some reason, the store speakers announced that cash would no longer be accepted one night; but a helpful employee named Landon made sure my card was used correctly.

Today pm was horrible the lady kept yelling we are short staffed no one came in is why only one end of the self check outs were operable. She should have announced on the loud speaker and open a register to reduce the wait time. The super long line was the same in the front ad was in the back we were in line from the south u scan to the north uscan, not happy the young man yelled out often which one uscan was open

We keep getting expired or rotten food put in our pickup orders. Over the past few months, we’ve had two rotten shallots, bad frozen tortellini that smelled very funky, expired sausage, rotten shredded cheese, and a frozen pizza that must have been thawed and re-frozen because it gave me horrible food poisoning at nine months pregnant. The stockers need to check their food more often.

This store has a great variety and is clean. The staff have always been polite and friendly. They have a nice deli, meat selection, pharmacy and basically everything you would expect from a grocery store. I will continue to shop here. From those who are visiting the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, this is a great location as it is approximately a mile from the track. We have friends who shop here every year while they camp out for 5 days during the Indy 500.

Kroger in Indiana: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know

While shopping at Kroger, there are certain rules that customers should follow to ensure a pleasant and efficient experience. It is important to be aware of these rules to help maintain a safe and organized shopping environment for everyone.

First and foremost, it is essential to adhere to the store’s policies regarding face coverings. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, many Kroger locations have implemented mandatory mask-wearing policies for all customers and employees. It is important to wear a mask properly, covering both the nose and mouth, while inside the store.

Another important rule is to respect social distancing guidelines. Kroger stores have implemented measures to encourage social distancing, such as floor markings and signs to indicate proper spacing in checkout lines. Customers should make an effort to maintain a safe distance of at least six feet from others while shopping.

Additionally, it is important to follow any directional signage or one-way aisle guidelines that may be in place. Many Kroger stores have implemented one-way traffic flow in specific aisles to minimize close contact between shoppers. • Limit the number of people in your shopping party, if possible.
  • Adhere to any additional safety measures communicated by store employees.
  • Wash or sanitize your hands before and after shopping.

By following these rules, customers can help create a safe and enjoyable shopping environment for everyone at Kroger.
