4 months agoThis is a one of a kind Costco – Coralville, Iowa. Parking inside the building – had to just look 3 hours from home but really neat. Just love Costco !3 weeks agoDespite great prices and good quality, I’m rating Costco only 3 stars because it’s so frustratingly hard to find things. There are no signs in the aisles telling you what’s where. Nor is there a store map or an app that tells you where to find things. Yet the nice helpful store people, if you can find one, do have an app on their phone that can tell them the location of any item. Also, they are always moving things around, so even if you once knew where your favorite items were, you can no longer find them. I believe this strategy is deliberate, to encourage browsing. But the net result is that I always leave without items on my list, both because I wasted so much time looking for them, and because I wasted so much time getting the things I actually found. I would browse anyway, would have more time to do it, and would probably go home with more things if they were easier to find. So, please, Costco! An app, or at the very least, some signage!2 weeks agoWe bought a computer for our son at a Costco in Illinois, for our son who is starting at the University of Iowa next week. When he set it up the computer did not work. He took it to the Coralville Costco and Mara helped him with the return and getting everything squared away. As a mom who could not be there to help solve this problem.. I am thankful to Mara and Costco for their policies and the excellent customer service they havea week agoWow! It’s huge and well stocked. I would have enjoyed a little more shopping time there but we were busy! I wasn’t expecting a parking garage!a month agoWill not be shopping here ever again. I was helping my mom with an Instacart order and I thought you can use self checkout but your employee Thomas told me no in a very rude way. I was not happy with his customer service skills towards me. I felt disrespected because I was a woman of color.

We received so many compliments and you can’t beat the price!in the last weekThe staff was great, Bob (floor-Generators),Blake(customer service)&Bret(customer service-Supr.) Guy’s at back of store who helped me load, amazing!! Thank you all, great job. I got a fantastic deal on a generator on a 2 day sale, Thanks Costco. I’m liking this store more all the time.a year agoCostco is the perfect place to get just about everything and their selection of GF items is huge! I always know I can get what I need and at a fair price for the quantity. The downside to this huge shopping experience is that it always seems to be busy. I went in during the middle of the day and found very few parking spaces available and every isle had customers in them. Such a huge place and so very busy but worth the haul every time.2 years agoWish they’d let non-members in once a week to buy items. Although you don’t have to be a member for the food which is ridiculously cheap or the pharmacy! Mask requiredin the last weekCostco always is my favorite store for the shopping.but not today. I bought a case fairlife protein drink couple months ago,I forgot to drink it. It was my issues but I just want checking so I brought it to store want to checking see if it is can return or not . The gentleman was said they not accept expired thing to get returns. That was totally fine . I was try go to using exit door to another door want buy something else. The guy standing exit door want check my receipt for the case fairlife drink . I explained to him said “I brought it to return but they can’t accept it so I don’t have receipts to show you because it’s mine and I show him the expired date on the box too . I want buy something else so I was zipped the bag before go to the entrance door try to avoid no necessary trouble.can I really feel speechless about this . When I done everything come to exit door again see the guy again , he look at my shopping cart try to open my bag and ask me AGAIN “did you bring it in ?” I told him. “I told you already just now “. They not accept my returns so it’s mine . It’s really bad experience for shopping here today. Maybe I should send the case fairlife drink to my car first than come back to shopping. Because they don’t say anything but act like we are stealing something from them. It is my experience, so if you want avoid any no necessary trouble, please don’t bring anything besides your wallet. Otherwise maybe they want open your bag see you maybe stealing something from them or not .

Like most others who shop here, it is a great place to stock up on bulk essential items for a great price. However, it is also an excellent resource for getting car batteries, tires, free nitrogen inflation stations, demos, travel, jewelry, electronics, hearing aids, eyeglasses, and even a pharmacy.
Honestly, there isn’t much that Costco DOESN’T offer!
The staff are always working hard, and the customer service is normal for retail stores.
It is very clean, which I love and appreciate!
Be prepared for the store to always be perpetually busy, and you’ll learn the customer etiquette of walking through aisles pretty quickly lol
The store always changes it’s product lineup, so each week expect a new floor display, new demo, and try not to be sad when your favorite product disappears from the shelves!
Easily the best value for any size of family. Even if you don’t have a family the value costco gives on high end products you’ll have made your membership price back in spades!! The staff is always friendly and willing to help. The food is always fresh and of good quality. As stated before they have tons of high quality items for way cheaper than anywhere else 1000% worth the price.
It’s a Costco – they keep it clean and organized, the selection is good, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. However, I strongly recommend to avoid the weekend rush if at all possible. I’ve found the best time to go is the 2 hours before closing on a weekday, which is around 6 :30 p.m. so you’re not crushed by the crowd and can get through smoothly with no traffic jams at the checkout.
Costco is the best! I shop here with my kids and they love it – It’s like a maze. Everything is pretty affordable, and on hot days, the icecream is great! and huge portions! Can’t recommend it enough, absolutely worth the price of the membership.

I am guilty of believing that _just_ because I buy something at Costco it is both less expensive and higher quality than I could buy elsewhere. I admit this belief has led to excessive spending on occasion…ok, fine…frequently.
On the rare occasion I buy something I am less than 100% happy with, I return it. No muss, no fuss.
