What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Located in a very central location, this supermarket has a lot to offer. There are many self-checkout counters here. I enjoyed the ambience and the service I received.

  2. Don’t bother shopping here late in the day. Many of the shelves are bare. A lot of basics simply sold out.

  3. My go-to place for groceries and household items. I find almost everything there, so no complaints mostly. With inflation causing a spike in prices, common items do feel expensive at times, bit they try to manage the prices I guess. Compared to Coles and Aldi, the quality of products is better, in my experience. The whole store is very spacious, so it never feels crammed irrespective of the number of people inside. Good job!

  4. Great location in Melbourne’s CBD. Decent sized store.
    Mainly, ‘Self-checkouts’
NOTE: ENTRY on LEFT HAND SIDE

  5. For anything and everything under the sun (of grocery 🤣). It’s collection and aisle arrangement is really cool. Easy to find out what you need. Also just opposite to BigW, so if you combine both the stores, it’s literally anything and everything. Staffs are also nice. Most importantly, you’ll find a lot of Special deals, Low price deals and Half price deals throughout the year. Opening hours is till 11pm, so even whenever you feel something to grab for your tummy just walk through the glass doors.

Witnessed the security assault a girl while she was trying to leave, they were pulling on her bags and trying to tackle her to the ground, completely unnecessary considering how they were both much bigger than her. I work with security at my bar every night in much more dangerous circumstances and even they never use that sort of force, for such a large place I would expect much better trained guards.

A standard supermarket, they have staff constantly stocking the shelves, always have mostly full shelves. The only issue I had was one of the orange juice’s was a day before its use by date. But I am being finicky. A good place to shop

They almost never have wholemeal sliced bread, or any bread other than white in their bakery section on weekend mornings, cant find any other way to complain online, probably should talk to their bakery staff.

More parking than supermarket. Despite significant ample space, only 3 sad bike hoops pushed too close against the wall and frequently blocked by trolleys, and hidden away from the main entrance. The ‘back’ entrance which faces apartments and residences doesn’t even have footpaths, just parking. The main entrance has yellow narrow painted lines for people walking. 60% parking, 40% shop. Yet another parking lot with a shop attached.

Really poor, car-centric thinking despite being next to so many residences and a station.

Not much to say about a Woolworths store that your typical shopper would be surprised by.

Carpark was not too busy, but there was a far bit of messy rubbish on the ground, in particular after the rain.

Store as usual had hardly any staffed checkouts, forcing use of irritating self service.

The staff in aisles (re-stocking) and at the self serve were friendly and helpful though.

Customer service here is poor. I’m a regular Woolies customer visiting this store from Shepparton. Shepparton store service is great.

We did a click and collect order and you need to report to service counter to let staff know your here. 3-4 staff just ignored me standing there for at least 5 mins. I don’t mind waiting but acknowledge you see me there and say you’ll be a moment. When I said to the staff member the service was below par she just shrugged her shoulders, couldn’t have cared less.

Click and collect system here is slow.

The worst woollies ever the floors are never clean there are always stray fruits or veg on the floor in that department , oh and don’t bother asking for a reciept if yours did not print properly , this would be way too much trouble the head girl at the service might even yell at you if you insist. Oh you might also need to tap on the safety screen to get the check out girls attention as they are to busy texting on their phones to notice a customer standing in front of them.

The store itself is ok and opens late which is convenient. However some staff working there were horrible. When I used the self checkout, and scanned all items as normal tonight, the system probably noticed something unusual, so requires staff assistance (log in and do a quick check), which is quite normal. So I asked the staff chatting at the corner to help. One lady came but her attitude was terrible. ‘What’s this?Did you scan this item? Then why you scanned it again? I am so tired you know?!’ If the lady doesn’t enjoy working at 11pm, she could resign/not come to work:)

Lots of parking. As expected, plenty of fresh food and shelves were stocked. Clean store. Staff were friendly. It’s not as big and bright as the Coles in the area but for a Woolies, it’s not a bad one. A lot of bad reviews. Seems like they have listened and improved. I’ll be back again. Cheers.

The store itself is OK. Not great, not bad. However, people working here are absolute legends.

I visited it today and my kid threw a pretty bad tantrum over a toy that she wanted me to buy (pretty classic, isn’t it). It lasted good 10 minutes.

Firstly, the lady on duty at the self service counters came over to check if everything was alright. I’ve explained the situation and she walked away. But then returned with her colleague and they tried to distract the little one and help me. Both were really sweet and nice.

Their attempt was unsuccessful tho, then the guy offered to bring a chocolate and asked if m&m’s was okay. I’ve answered “yes” and they brought one. Turned out it was on the house. The kid was distracted and calmed down. I was finally able to scan everything and finish shopping.

Things like this and attitude like this really warm your heart and give you a sense of community. Thanks guys, great job!

And sorry, should’ve asked your names!
