I took my Class 5 road test here. The lady I got as a tester made up lies about my driving, claimed I drove too slow on the highway (the roads were covered in snow and ice, I never went below 40km/hr), and told me I went more than 30km/hr below the speed limit. She also gave me a point for going through amber lights that I didn’t have time to stop before, because they turned amber less than one second before I entered the intersection.

Thanks to Dwayne the drivers tester. He was friendly, professional and made the testing experience calm, positive and easy! I was in and out in 1 hour.

Showed up 15’ ahead of time for road test. Checked in with front staff, sent to waiting area, then called up to wicket to processing clerk, gave info, sent back to waiting area. Called back to clerk, who stated that the examiner was denying to test as I was late. Stated to clerk I was early, clerk stated that that’s what they thought and didn’t understand. Asked to speak to supervisor, supervisor refused to comment. Relying on completing this test due to employment requirements, given no justifiable explanation. Experience was horrible and incredibly unprofessional. Told to rebook online when possible, now potentially waiting another month for next available slot.

Renewing a driver’s license is a nightmare at this location. Who I saw in alarming numbers, clearly I don’t recognize Canada anymore. Awful

Had to wait an hour and a half after my scheduled time for my road test, and the lady I had was extremely rude from the start. I drove back because she kept yelling at me while I was driving. Please do not go here.

This place is awful. It seems like you are just a number to the staff. I think that the staff is very jaded when it comes to deal with you. Yes, I get that alot of people are abusing “the system” and I get that it must get frustrating for the staff to have to deal with this day in BUT NOT EVERYONE is abusing the system!! Some of us are dealing with major medical problems that are not of our doing!! So treating clients with some respect and decency would go a long way for us that are already stressed out by trying to get our lives back in order and have to unfortunately go into this disrespectful office. Not everyone is trying to scam the government folks!! I give respect because I was taught that as a child. Maybe, if they ever have staff meetings, the powers to be might want to remind the staff that we are human, we don’t want to be there, and it’s really unfortunate that on the very rare occasions I know I have to go to this office, it’s just going to be a very degrading, inhumane experience.😬

I have had two experiences here with two people. The first was short with me and I felt it came across rude. The second was the same experience the person was short and rude. Using excuses like were busy isn’t going to solve any poverty reduction problems. Hopefully my issue gets sorted out. Even if it’s done begrudge-ingly.

Sometimes the staff treat clients respectfully other times not so much.. I had to remind a woman i was dealing with numerous times that I’m disabled and its very hard for me to get there and go into a place that causes me so much anxiety. But anyone with anxiety must be a junkie.. Sad. Another woman working there witnessed this and made sure she helped me through the process with kindness. I think if they can’t be respectful to the client then they need new people working there. The mean woman seems to always be mean and i pray to God every time i go in not to see her because her whole attitude is degrading. It’s social services and its a place for people in need to get financial help. This money isn’t being stolen from anyone pockets who works there so I’m not sure why people are treated like it is.
