The very best people to book your whale or Grizzly trip with!!! We booked a Grizzly viewing trip with Campbell River after being very let down by another company

What can I say… 100% professional by all involved with this company. Very well organized & Nothing is too much trouble.

We saw orcas as soon as we set off, as well as humpback & seals along the way.

An amazing day & saw several Grizzlies including a mommas & her Cub. We even had a Grizzly walk from behind us & pass on by. What a day!!!

Thank you to Alex our driver & Zoe our very knowledgeable guide.

You two have the best jobs.

This was easily the best wildlife trip of my life!

Thank you so much Tyler (W.) for + being a fun guy to be around + making sure nobody’s starving + best boat parking skills ever + all the tips and tricks + all the know-how about wildlife, boats, the landscape, …

    It was an awesome time!

Thank you Campbell River Whale watching for enabling this tour, providing the great food and the thoughtful planning of this tour! Also for the very good equipment provided!

Thank you Klahoose first nation for allowing us on your territory! Thank you Jerry and Danny for showing us the beautiful nature and the breathtaking wildlife! All your knowledge was impressive and you were the friendliest people imaginable!

This tour was worth every penny! We were lucky with the weather and encountered more (sea) animals we ever could have wished for!

    Absolutely recommend! 15/10

Thank you Batman! We had an amazing tour with you. The front desk lady was also lovely and offered us plenty of information. We saw orcas within the first 5 minutes which was highly unlikely but honestly made my year. 3 humpbacks, endless porpoises, dolphins, sea lions and seals. Very informative and I’d highly recommend.

Went for the whale watching, and we got so much more with it. (Went for the 6 hour one). I love learning about animals and really enjoy learning about just everything involving the biology and whatnot. Our tour guide, Bex, was so absolutely amazing. They were friendly, happy, and most of all knowledgeable on the information regarding the area and animals! We got to see humpbacks, bears, porpoises and eagles! We also got to learn about the areas history etc. It was an amazing experience. Even the red suits we wore were decently comfortable and warm despite the cold air from being on an open boat. Really an amazing experience and I’m so happy to have seen such marvellous and jaw-dropping things.

Well organized tour and with a prepared guide/captain on the boat. Animal sightseeing is based on luck, but the day went quite well thanks to the good preparation of the captain and his right approach. I also really appreciated the sustainable initiative that the company has committed (1sqm of forest purchased for each customer) , well done.

What a beautiful experience! I went on the People Water Land tour and it was wonderful. The boat is very comfortable and clean, and it’s great that you can either go inside or outside on the front deck. Ron and Cassie made the experience very special by sharing a lot of stories about the Homalco people and welcoming us to their territory. We saw humpback whales, sea lions, eagles… and the scenery is just spectacular. Can’t wait to go back in September to see the grizzly bears. I:mote

We just had a great day on a Homalco whale watching tour. We were 5 hours on the boat with our Captain Al and guide Kaitlyn. They were very knowledgeable about the waters, the wildlife and the history of the area. We saw porpoises, seals, sea lions and one humpback whale. Although the our whale sightings were limited the scenery was spectacular. I feel very grateful for the experience and beauty that we enjoyed. The vessels was also very clean and comfortable. It was a rainy day. There was a choice of indoor and outdoor seating for each person in the small groups that they book. I highly recommend!

I had the most amazing experience, today we witnessed eagles, stellar sea lions, seals, a black bear, a huge male grizzly and a mom and cub.

Not only did we see so much wildlife, we also got to partake in the culture and the tales that I personally would not get to hear otherwise. I want to say a thank you to all the crew but especially to Janet. She told her stories and allowed us into her family. I was so appreciative of the time taken to respect our stolen first nations women.

Thank you for all your time today, and you were right, lots of healing was done on this beautiful tour.

See you again, and that’s a promise 🙂

I highly recommend this experience! The guides were knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. They were also extremely respectful of the land and of the bears. The scenery was stunning, and seeing grizzlies in the wild was surreal. Bonus: we observed some sea lions and whales on the way back.

A travel agency is a private retailer or public service that provides travel and tourism-related services to the general public on behalf of accommodation or travel suppliers to offer different kinds of travelling packages for each destination. Travel agencies can provide outdoor recreation, arranging logistics for luggage and medical items delivery for travellers upon request, public transport timetables, car rentals, and bureau de change services.
