  1. Great folks, very helpful! I got a lot of details on the cat we adopted, along with a concise explanation of the need for a vet visit, and how the cost of the first visit was covered at participating veterinarians near us. A hard-working team.

Now we have a new family member, Luna.

  2. We adopted my best friend here a few years ago and we really couldn’t be happier with our choice! The staff was amazing, facility clean, and process to adopt was simple and magical. Thanks for giving me a friend at a time in my life when I desperately needed her. ????????

  3. I recently adopted a dog from here. The staff was nice and well knowledgeable. I got Gus who is a 7 month old half pug and half Australian Cattle Dog.

  4. Just called the humane society, trying to find the Woodbury number so I can thank them for getting all my cats adopted. Such a wonderful staff! Miss you Lucky, Charm, navel, smokey, blackberry, and blueberry!! Thinking of you always. I can’t believe how fast they got adopted but it was close to Halloween and they are black cats! Ty so much!!!! I’ll be forever grateful to the humane society!

I went here to get some cat things and ended up entranced by the saltwater tanks. I have had freshwater fish in the past and have enjoyed it, but I have never felt so truly delightful as I did on this particular visit to the store. I was helped by two employees. One was the manager. They both had the most superb customer service skills. They were both highly knowledgeable in the aquarium area. I felt that the way the manager explained to me about setting up and caring for my future tank was an immense amount of information intake; but the way in which she told me was so understandable and definitely took away any anxiety I had about the concerns that come with a salt water tank.. The fish looked happy and healthy. I never knew how interactive saltwater fish are. It’s amazing to see. They had a wide variety of colorful fish. There were anemones and starfish. My favorite was this little guy who crawled. He reminded me of herb’s dog from family guy. Overall I’d give this store a 10/10 I enjoyed my shopping experience thoroughly.

Great location! The staff has always been friendly and helpful. If you’re a cat owner, I’d highly recommend the refillable litter — it’s truly scent free, clumps well, traps odor, and is very affordable!

This location is great (in St Paul, on Ford Prkwy)!! It was well-kept and organized, as well as stocked! Other locations had limited options for items, but this location had a nice variety of most things I could need. Definitely will be going back!

Staff is absolutely amazing! Michelle has made my partner and I excited to start aquariums instead of telling us the negatives, she made the experience very enjoyable!

They give both of my dogs good haircuts. Also, they carry almost everything I need for my dogs. Highly recommend!

Note that I haven’t been to Feline Rescue for a number of years, so my info might be outdated. But I wanted to review it anyway. I was a volunteer there for about a year and I also fostered 2 cats for a little while from their outreach program. Volunteering was good. You would scoop all the litter boxes and then clean the kennels and surfaces in the rooms. Then you would mop the floors. Sometimes you could do tasks in the intake room where they quarantined new cats before putting them in with the others. After all the work was done you could play with the cats. Some cats had their own rooms. There were 2 big general rooms, one for FIV+ cats (I accidentally let a few out once, that was a disaster), and one for quiet and shy cats. Then there were a few rotating rooms/areas for cats that needed it. The cats would be in kennels overnight and when the shelter was closed but when people were there they could run free and play. I learned a ton about cat behavior both by watching them and from other volunteers. One thing I remember vividly is that they would put out food for feral cats, and if you left around dusk, you could see dozens of pairs of glowing eyes coming towards you from all directions. I’ll never forget that! The outreach program took in really difficult cats that the main shelter couldn’t take. The two I fostered actually had fleas and I had never dealt with that, so I learned a lot from that situation. I attached some pictures of cats but I didn’t see any pics of the areas in the shelter. The two in the blue hamper are the ones I fostered and that is in my apartment.

We had an excellent experience adopting our 2 cats from Feline Rescue. The initial reach out took a little time to get going, but I understood. I’m guessing a lot of people reaching out, some folks working are volunteers, and then there’s also coordination with fosters. Not a huge deal. Glad we were patient because the whole process was great and our 2 cats are a great addition to our family. Denise was friendly and helpful along the way and we appreciate everything she did throughout the adoption process.

Adopting a cat here is very simple and straight to the point. They let you meet each one, and follow proper safety measures, to ensure nobody is passing around germs from cat to cat. They also take care of a great deal of medical issues, to ensure their cats are as healthy as they can be, and notify you of any health situations which your new friend might have, to guarantee you’re fully aware of the situation. Upon adoption, they also provide a copy of your bew friend’s medical history, a week’s worth of food, their bedding and toys, even a carrier if necessary. They also offer advice on how to help acclimate your new cat to your home, and any pets you may currently have. I think it’s overall a great place, because they’re rescuing cats and helping them find homes with loving families. The staff is also exceptionally awesome, and they really know what they’re doing, because they actually really care about what they’re doing. 40/10 stars, easily.

We adopted an older cat from this place and he is just a wonderful little creature. The staff were great to work with and accomodating. The cats are well cared for here, some can even roam around or have a small room instead of a cage. Unlike the Humane Society, you will unlikely leave the same day you meet the cat you wanna take home, as they have a process, to ensure cats are rehomed to decent people.

We lost our 2 cats (age 17 and 18) a few months ago and miss them. We went to the Meow Cafe to get and give some love. We enjoyed every minute and will come again when we are ready to adopt. Thanks for providing a clean, relaxing place and for giving these beautiful cats a chance to get a “furever” home.
