What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Clean store and the girl who does the dog grooming was nice… You do have to have an updated Rabies vac. To get your dogs nails clipped.

  2. Great selection of all kinds of pet products. As well as dog training and pet adoption, to just name a few. I went there for a dog door for my two dogs . They have a very good selection of dog and cat doors. I’d say the best selection in Lake Charles. If you’ve got a fur baby or anything else fish reptiles or any other, and you haven’t been there lately. Go you’ll find all kinds of good stuff..❤️

  3. I love getting my fish from them cause if my fish died they replaced them and everyone there is very nice and ask if you need help

  4. I went in there to get raw food for cats and all they have is one brand, the rest is for dogs. Cats deserve a variety as well and I just can’t understand why there is such a poor selection.

  5. Thank you so much Elizabeth at Petsmart in Lake Charles, Louisiana. You did an awesome job with our border collie mix that was a mess! I highly recommend Elizabeth if you have a large dog. My girl looks fantastic. Again, thanks to this awesome groomer! I highly recommend Elizabeth!

My dog was stolen and I found him at the animal shelter 1 hour away from my home. They charged me for housing and microchipping him. When I went to pick him up he was limping and had a fresh new open huge gash on his paw they said he just did and didn’t offer to bandage it or anything and when I got him home he had a terrible cough and was vomiting. To thi the vet and was told he had contacted kennel cough. It was a 4 week terrible ordeal. They didn’t care he was stolen and I couldn’t get a ride there because my vehicle was stolen as well. They charged me and sent my dog home beat up and sick.

The hardest thing in the world to do is to have to surrender some of your cats but I just cannot afford it. It literally broke my soul to have to surrender my cat and her babies. But they were very kind and understanding there. Although I hope nobody ever has to use their services, if you do just know that they will be sympathetic and understanding and if you want a beautiful white cat and some of her gorgeous kittens then please go and check them out because they will be up for adoption

I saw a puppy on their webpage, went to meet him the next day, and got to bri g him home the same afternoon…Michelle, the adoption agent was so sweet and the shelter was so clean and smelled nice. This was my first time there…..and it was worth the trip. I followed all the instructions and suggestions I was given and my pup settled in just fine

Been here twice so far and it’s an absolute blessing to be able to bring my toddler. Shes 3 years old and I am using our TLC visits and a way to introduce her to cats and their many different personalities.

Went to just see about adoption and the process very sweet people with helpful information. Adult cats are able to be foster cats and you can pay $120 have the cat see if it works with you and your families routine although this option is not for kittens.. Hopefully we will adopt a cat soon. This kitten was so sweet and we loved him hoped when we are ready to adopt he is still available.

We usually go there with our 8 and 11 year Olds because they love cats. We have 6 of our own. Every time we go there we have a great time we spend around 45 minutes with the cats. However today we lasted about 10 minutes because an older lady had asked us if we had been there before and knew the rules. I said yes then she told us not to play with the cats that were in the cubbys on the walls. I said OK no problem. So we went to the front entrance to play with those cats because they only had one room for TLC today. My son saw a solid gray cat and asked what kind of cat that was and the lady told my boys not to play with the cats up front at the entrance because they were feral. We just left after that didn’t feel too welcomed this visit.

Great place to adopt a cat, or just visit to pet and play.
