What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Walked in to check pricing of the iPhone 13 mini, the guy working (sleeve tattoos) told me sorry apple does not make them anymore and Verizon does not sell them. I asked why there was an iPhone 13 mini on display with pricing and a promo, no answer was given. Then I was told I couldn’t trade in my phone. Mind you, no one even bothered to look up my information to know for sure if I was eligible. I went out to my car, called Verizon on the phone and was told that the Freedom Drive store has had multiple issues and that I was eligible for a trade it and that Verizon still sells the iPhone 13 mini. So essentially I was lied to twice by the same employee. If you don’t want business just say so. No need to lie about service and products.

  2. I came in to switch to Verizon and was really impressed with the team there. They helped me navigate the difficult process of getting my transfer pin from another carrier and were extremely knowledgeable about the ins and outs of transfers. I ended up saving a significant amount on my bill. If you’re going to do Verizon I recommend this location.

  3. 3 people were being helped with 1 other ahead of me. I waited for 30 minutes before leaving. It seems fairly busy, but the employees seemed helpful. You are better off using online if possible unless it is something that has to be taken care of in person.

  4. Marissa was very helpful this morning and guided me through transferring data from one iPhone to another. She was very knowledgeable and her customer service was awesome. I appreciate the time that she took to help.

  5. Walked in and before they really knew what I wanted was told they couldn’t help us. Too bad, lost sale to a competitor. Will never go to Verizon as a company. These people are rude.

Sat there over two hours while they tried to get a Walmart phone to work. It said Verizon all over it and finally they decided the SIM card wasn’t compatible with Verizon and the SIM cards they had weren’t compatible with the phone even though it said Verizon all over it and the Walmart guy assured me it was. Go to Boost down by macdonald’s . Near clear lake.

I went to the store to switch over my phone lines from another carrier. After 3 hours of this process (we have 7 lines) and when our phones were ported we were told that there was a $35 activation fee for our lines. $245 dollars total was paid. We were fine with this as every carrier and company charges activation fees. This is normal. Left the store without issue. I checked my Verizon app today to see what my new bill would be and it is still showing we owe activation fees. After spending an hour on the phone with Verizon customer service (which was excellent), he called the store and spoke to the sales representative that completed our number porting. She told the Verizon representative that these were set up fees, not activation fees. This is NOT what we were told. She specifically said activation fees. I would have drove to the corporate store had this information been provided ahead of time (as it should have been). The Verizon representative couldn’t understand why we would be charged set up fees especially since we brought all of our own devices, and nothing had to be transfered. I am extremely upset and disappointed in this location and the representatives. This is extremely bad business and a violation of trust that you place in your store employees to aid you in dealing with the lifeline that our cell phones have become.

I stopped in to get SIM cards for new lines that I am adding to my account for using used phones I bought from a 3rd party. I came in was greeted warmly. I explained what I needed. Laura took my info for the sale which was free for being a Verizon customer. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Great service. Now I just go to Verizon.com and get signed up for my 2 new phone lines. Great service!

Karen was absolutely fantastic. She was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She did a fantastic job with our phone upgrades and transfers. She’s the reason we’ll continue doing business with your store.

I had a prepaid plan with them. After my phone broke they talked me into a post paid plan. The prepaid still charged me for the next 2 months. I was told my post paid bill would be $85 plus taxes. According to Verizon it was $110 plus taxes. They said my first bill was going to be higher than normal but it was $80 higher than the number I was quoted. I spent 4 days talking to Verizon, they promised to lower my bill and refund my prepaid, none of it happened and my prepaid even hit a second time. Now I just get hung up on when I call. Screw these scammed, might as well get them to handle my extended car warranty….
