- Reviews:2 stars for a wide variety. Now the food is a bit 🤢. You can taste how old it is, not near warm, fried rice tasteless, baked whiting undercooked, fried shrimp dough tasted too soft inside like nit done. But the fried chicken was the only thing good. Juicy, better temp and didn’t taste old. After I barely ate I refused to try anything else in not wanting to be more disappointed. I am no where near that establishment. I was calm and respectful the entire phone call even if she was rude. Said we never double charged a person once in 10 years. I would full on believe that if it wasn’t happening to me and she saying I can’t have my money back. 5/20/2023 EDIT: called back and spoke with my server TINA who was calm and respectful but her just being a server has no control of what management does. Another downtown gem! Walked in after another restaurant had issues opening and was seated right away. Calamari appetizer was wonderful – well prepared with a couple different doing sauces. Lemongrass pork and Godzilla roll were tasty. We’ll be back!
Such a great place to visit! Great fresh flavors in all of their dishes. I haven’t had such a nice new experience eating sushi in some time. The place has a great atmosphere and looks out over the beautiful town of frederick. Planning to return asap!
The Tuna Poppers were excellent; flavorful, and slightly spicy. The Crab Rangoon was delicious, crispy outside and creamy on the inside.
The Honey Walnut Shrimp was out of this world! This was delicious! This is NOT the Honey Walnut Shrimp you might find at the food court in the mall!
We had two sushi rolls: The Lazy Shack (wonderful) and the other roll is not on the regular menu and I forgot the name. It had fried oysters inside the roll. Both were excellent (but the Lazy Shack was the better of the two).
The service was great, the food was great! I have nothing but praise for Lazy Fish.
Sushi here is modified to Americans’ taste. It’s still delicious, but far from authentic.
Quite pricy.
BTW they call their salmon avocado roll “takoyaki “ (the dish in the front on my photo), which was a surprise for me, although it was delicious 😂
Portions are very small, and they are charging for spacy mayo(used to be free). Outside posted menu prices don’t match the menu in the restaurant.
Food is delicious. Shrimp and Veggies Tempura is extremely tasty, and I highly recommend getting it. Our calamari were slightly undercooked. Chicken wings were pretty good.
Service is good.
